Abstract

The strategies and methods of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in elementary schools (SD) and Islamic elementary schools (MI) play a crucial role in shaping students' character and religious knowledge. This study aims to explore the basic concepts of strategies and methods of PAI learning applied in SD and MI. The basic concepts of PAI learning strategies include approaches focused on the development of religious values, skills, and noble character. The methods used in learning should be adjusted to the students' needs, cognitive development, as well as their social and cultural environment. In PAI learning, effective interaction between teachers and students is expected through various methods, such as lectures, discussions, Q&A sessions, and religious practices. The selection of appropriate strategies and methods can enhance students' understanding of PAI material and strengthen the application of religious values in daily life.

Abstract

Manajemen kinerja guru merupakan aspek krusial dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Dalam lanskap pendidikan yang terus berkembang, peran kepala sekolah sangat strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung profesionalisme guru. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan adalah kepemimpinan transformasional, yang menekankan pada inspirasi, motivasi, dan dukungan terhadap pengembangan individu guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi pemanfaatan fitur manajemen kinerja guru melalui pendekatan kepemimpinan transformasional di SDN 2 Pagerwojo Kabupaten Kendal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berperan vital dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen kinerja guru. Kepala sekolah memberikan arahan yang inspiratif, mendukung inovasi pengajaran, dan memperhatikan pengembangan individu guru. Namun, ditemukan beberapa tantangan dalam penerapan fitur manajemen kinerja, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap indikator kinerja, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kurangnya motivasi intrinsik. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, disarankan agar kepala sekolah memperkuat supervisi akademik, memberikan pendampingan yang lebih sistematis, dan meningkatkan akses guru terhadap pelatihan profesional yang relevan. Selain itu, dukungan dari pemerintah dan departemen pendidikan dalam bentuk kebijakan yang fleksibel dan alokasi anggaran yang memadai juga diperlukan. Penelitian ini menyiratkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas manajemen kinerja guru. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi peran teknologi dalam mendukung manajemen kinerja dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

The development of technology in education has encouraged schools to adopt digital learning as part of instructional innovation. However, challenges arise when school principals must multitask while ensuring the effectiveness of digital learning implementation. SDN 4 Banyuringin, Kendal Regency, serves as an example of a school that has successfully implemented digital learning management strategies despite these constraints. This study aims to analyze the strategies of a multitasking school principal in managing digital learning at SDN 4 Banyuringin, Kendal Regency. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital learning in this school has been effective and positively impacts student learning quality. This success is largely supported by a delegation strategy involving senior teachers who have undergone intensive digital training. These senior teachers serve as mentors for their colleagues, facilitating a smoother adoption of technology in the classroom. Additionally, the use of communication technology, support from the education department, infrastructure readiness, and periodic evaluations have further contributed to the program's success. Increased student engagement, improved comprehension of materials, and enhanced academic achievement serve as key indicators of effective digital learning implementation. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for other schools in developing effective digital learning management strategies.

Abstract

Literacy is one of the main solutions to overcome problems with the learning motivation of students in elementary schools in the 21st century. Because basically literacy is the main step to develop skills and insights in students. Therefore, the researcher aims to deepen and understand how to implement a text-rich environment in every public and private elementary school in PPL schools to motivate students' learning. This case study research uses qualitative descriptive. This study involved 5 partner schools that became PPL venues, consisting of public and private schools located in the Semarang City and Demak Regency areas. The data collection technique uses interviews, observations and questionnaires. The results of the study show that literacy facilities in elementary schools vary, with literacy activities that increase students' motivation to learn. The role of teachers is very important in creating a supportive literacy atmosphere, which has a positive impact on motivation and academic achievement, although external factors also influence.

Abstract

The results of the needs analysis of class IV at SDN 3 Tugu Tulungagung showed that there were students who had difficulty in understanding the teacher's explanation in interpreting sentences in Indonesian reading texts and the minimal use of learning media caused students to tend to be passive. Based on these results, the researcher developed Roulette Bingo media which aims to support learning with a fun and active atmosphere and help students understand the material. This study uses the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and qualitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale. The results obtained from the development of Roulette Bingo Media in Indonesian language learning for class IV related to the material on main ideas and supporting ideas based on the assessment determined by the material expert obtained a percentage of 87.5%, and media expert validation of 92.5% with the category "Very Appropriate". Meanwhile, the response from the teacher to the Roulette Bingo media received a percentage of 100% and the response from students was 94.4% with the category "Very Good". The results of this study indicate that the development of the Roulette Bingo media can be used as a tool to support learning materials that are fun and make students more active and motivated to follow the learning, but still has a drawback, namely the arrow on the Roulette is a little difficult to rotate, it is hoped that the Roulette can be rotated easily and practically in its use and adjusted to the needs of students.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum takes a different approach from the previous curriculum, particularly in its assessment system, which focuses more on character building rather than students’ academic achievement The automatic grade promotion policy raises concerns about learning quality, as students advance to the next grade level even if they have not yet mastered essential skills. This study seeks to assess the negative impacts of implementing the Independent Curriculum, especially regarding academic gaps and learning effectiveness in elementary schools. By employing a qualitative method with an interpretative descriptive framework, this research aims to explore teachers’ experiences and perspectives in applying the Independent Curriculum. This method allows for a deeper investigation of challenges and policy effects from educators’ viewpoints, particulary in relation to academic disparities and learning efficiency. Moreover, the substitution of the National Examination with Askomi Suka is seen as less effective as a final student assessment tool, as this system not only diminishes academic competitiveness but also hampers the equal attainment of competencies. Teachers also encounter various obstacles in implementing project-bases learning and maintaining flexible teaching methods, which have yet to be executed effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik yang terfokus hanya pada buku paket pelajaran dan kurangnya media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran yang berdampak pada rata-rata hasil belajar IPAS yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas III UPTD SDN 95 Abbekae dikelas yang menggunakan media diorama dan dikelas yang tidak menggunakan media diorama serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh media diorama terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas III UPTD SDN 95 Abbekae. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas III di UPTD SDN 95 Abbekae. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik total sampling atau sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media diorama diperoleh nilai 84,8 % dengan kategori tuntas belajar dan diperoleh nilai 15,1% dengan kategori tidak tuntas belajar. Tingkat hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media diorama diperoleh nilai 45,4% dengan kategori tuntas belajar dan diperoleh nilai 54,5 % dengan kategori tidak tuntas belajar. Berdasarkan pengelolaan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh sig 0,000 artinya bahwa H0 ditolak (0,000 < 0,05) dan H1 diterima karena (0,395 > 0,05). Sedangkan pada analisis uji T, Sig > ttabel atau (5,819 > 1,997). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kelas yang diajarkan dengan media diorama dengan kelas yang tidak diajarkan dengan media diorama terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas III UPTD SDN 95 Abbekae.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher competence in angklung learning using the Kodaly method in formal education units. Kodaly's hand sign method, which converts musical notation into hand symbols, is applied to improve students' musical understanding and engagement in angklung learning. The research used the literature study method by reviewing various previous studies related to angklung music learning and teacher pedagogical competence. The results showed that the application of the Kodaly method was able to increase learning effectiveness, improve students' angklung playing skills, and create an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. This research emphasizes the importance of teacher competence, both in mastering music theory and teaching skills, to maximize student potential and preserve culture through angklung learning. In conclusion, the Kodaly method not only helps achieve learning objectives but also contributes to the preservation of traditional culture through fun and meaningful music teaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kreativitas siswa dalam menerapkan prinsip seni rupa melalui kegiatan Split Self "Face" Art sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas V SDN Nongkosawit 02 Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengacu pada enam prinsip seni rupa, yaitu kesatuan, keserasian, dominasi, irama, keseimbangan, dan kesebandingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 35,29% siswa mampu menerapkan seluruh prinsip dengan baik, 23,53% siswa menguasai lima prinsip, dan 23,53% lainnya memahami empat prinsip. Namun, masih terdapat 17,65% siswa yang hanya dapat menerapkan satu prinsip dalam gambar mereka. Kesatuan dan keserasian menjadi prinsip yang paling mudah dipahami dengan tingkat keberhasilan 88,24%, sedangkan kesebandingan menjadi tantangan terbesar bagi siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah memahami konsep dasar seni rupa, namun masih memerlukan penguatan dalam prinsip keseimbangan dan kesebandingan agar hasil karya lebih proporsional dan harmonis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the test: (1) The Influence Between the Quiz Model and the lecture method on Students' PAI learning achievement, (2) The Influence Between High and Low Visual Learning Styles on Students' PAI learning achievement, (3) Interaction Between the Quiz Model and Visual Learning Style on Students' PAI learning achievement of VIIIth graders at SMPN 1 Jabon. This experimental research was conducted using a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects in this study were students of grade XI consisting of four classes with 120 students of grade VIII at SMPN 1 Jabon. The subjects that were the focus of the experiment were taken randomly by classical sampling, namely four classes ABCD from grade VIII at SMPN 1 Jabon. The hypothesis of this study was tested using the Analysis of Variant (Anova) statistical test. (1) PAI learning achievement of students taught with the Quiz Model By comparing the probability value, namely 0.001 with the significance level or α, namely 0.05. Based on the table, it turns out that 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be said to be significant. Thus, it can be said that the Quiz Model and lecture method affect the PAI learning achievement of grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Jabon, (2) PAI learning achievement of students who have a high Visual Learning Style and have a low Visual Learning Style By comparing the probability value, namely 0.001 with the significance level or α, namely 0.05. Based on the table, it turns out that 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be said to be significant. Thus, it can be said that the PAI learning achievement of students who have a high Visual Learning Style affects the PAI learning achievement when compared to those who have a low Visual Learning Style of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jabon, and (3). Based on the table, it turns out that 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be said that there is an interaction between the Quiz Model, lecture method, and Visual Learning Style on the PAI learning achievement of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jabon. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that using the Quiz Model and Visual Learning Style can improve the PAI learning achievement of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jabon.
