Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of school communication and coordination on parental participation in the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) at SD Negeri 9 Pedungan, Denpasar. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with the support of qualitative data. The research instrument was in the form of a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire consisting of 30 statements and given to 15 teachers as respondents. Supporting data was obtained through semi-structured interviews with principals, curriculum representatives, and school committees. The results showed a communication index of 4.09, a coordination index of 3.95, and a parental participation index of 3.74 in the good category. The Pearson correlation test showed a strong positive association between parental communication and participation (r = 0.71; p < 0.01) and parental coordination and participation (r = 0.64; p < 0.05). The findings of the study confirm that open communication, consistency of tripartite meetings, and dialogical leadership are important factors in increasing parental involvement in the implementation of SBM in primary schools. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using digital media on enhancing critical thinking skills among elementary school students. The method used in this research is a literature review,which involves collecting and processing data from existing studies. The data were obtained from several articles sourced from google, google scholar, and other websites, covering the years 2020-2025. The data were analyzed through reduction and presentation techniques. The analysis revealed that various types of digital media can be utilized to improve students critical thingking skills, as such as I-spiring, mapping-based e-book, animated learning videos, educational games, flipbook andword walls.There learning media stimulate students critical hingking abilities in engaging and interactive ways.

Abstract

Interactive learning media based on lumi education is an H5P-based tool used in learning by presenting content interactively, containing content in the form of a combination of various media into one unit in the form of images, videos and sounds. Learning motivation is a drive that arises from outside or inside students, which influences student behavior to achieve learning goals. This study aims to analyze the application of interactive media based on lumi education in increasing student learning motivation in social studies subjects. The study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 23 students of class VII C. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest questionnaires, then analyzed using paired sample t-test and N-Gain tests. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning motivation after the application of interactive media based on lumi education. This can be seen based on the paired sample T-test with a sig value of <0.001 < 0.05 so that it can be stated that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. And the N-Gain value of 0.63 or 63% is in the moderate category. Thus, lumi education-based interactive media is quite effective in increasing student learning motivation in social studies.

Abstract

This study uses anthropolinguistics to investigate pregnancy myths in Javanese culture in the Gunung Kidul region. The community's strong conviction in a number of pregnancy-related myths and taboos that have been passed down through the generations is the driving force for this study. This study aims to characterize pregnancy myths and their cultural connotations. This study employed a qualitative approach using both primary and secondary data sources. In Gunung Kidul, informants with a native Javanese cultural background were interviewed to gather primary data, and literature research and document reviews were used to gather secondary data. The denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings that emerge in the community were revealed through descriptive data analysis approaches based on Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The study's findings show that pregnancy myths in the Gunung Kidul community serve as a means of communicating moral principles, ethics, and ways to safeguard the mother and fetus in addition to acting as taboos or prohibitions. The connections between cultural, social, spiritual, and health facets of Javanese life are reflected in these myths. Furthermore, myths continue to persist as a type of indigenous knowledge that fortifies the community's social cohesion and cultural identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of teachers in helping students remember figures in the fifth-grade SD Sirah Nabawiyah learning, as well as to identify the forms and factors of difficulty that affect students' ability to memorize figures in Islamic history. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The research subjects consist of Sirah teachers and fifth-grade SD students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that students still have difficulty remembering the names of figures, distinguishing the roles of the figures, and connecting figures with events. These difficulties are influenced by the large amount of material that must be memorized, limited study time, lack of repetition of the material, and the use of learning methods that are still limited. To overcome these difficulties, the teacher combines the lecture method with storytelling, conducts activities to review previous material, and holds a question-and-answer session at the end of the lesson. This strategy is considered quite effective because students find it easier to understand the material when the teacher explains it directly. This study shows that the teacher’s role is very important in creating engaging learning and helping students understand the figures in the study of Sirah Nabawiyah.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on the learning independence of IPAS among fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Tetebatu, Gowa Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 27 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included a learning independence questionnaire (15 items) and an observation sheet. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, namely the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS 29. The results showed that the implementation of the Flipped Classroom learning model had a significant effect on the learning independence of IPAS among fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Tetebatu, Gowa Regency. This was indicated by the increase in the average score of students’ learning independence from 45.26 in the pretest to 85.78 in the posttest. The frequency distribution results showed that before the treatment all students were in the poor category, whereas after the treatment most students were in the good and very good categories. In addition, the results of the t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a t-count value of 12.438. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Flipped Classroom learning model has a significant effect on the learning independence of IPAS among fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Tetebatu, Gowa Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attention and the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Swasta Masehi 3 Kabanjahe in the Academic Year 2025/2026. This research employed a quantitative approach using an ex post facto method with a correlational research design. The population of this study consisted of all fifth-grade students at SD Swasta Masehi 3 Kabanjahe, totaling 30 students, who were also used as the research sample. Data collection techniques included questionnaires to measure parental attention and documentation to obtain students’ learning outcomes. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, while data analysis involved normality testing, hypothesis testing using the t-test (partial), and simple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that parental attention has a significant relationship with students’ learning outcomes, as shown by: (1) the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Swasta Masehi 3 Kabanjahe in the Academic Year 2025/2026 being in the good category, with an average score of 82.7; (2) parental attention toward fifth-grade students being in the very good category, as indicated by an average parental attention percentage of 85.64; and (3) a significant relationship between parental attention and students’ learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing, which show a calculated t value of 5.441 greater than the t table value of 2.052, with a significance value of Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the higher the level of parental attention, the better the students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

According to the actual conditions obtained by the data, some of the fourth grade students of SDN Merjosari 3 have not shown complete mastery of the material for each of their basic competencies, especially the field of Pancasila education study on cooperation on my environment. This is evidenced by the fact that there are still many student who have not reached the KKM. In this case, the Fan and Pick learning model is used as one of the learning models that can overcome this problem. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) type of research which has 2 cycles that have 4 stages, namely (1) initial planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results of observations of teacher teaching activities in cycle I and cycle II, in cycle I the observation results were 66,67% so that it was in the less category. In cycle II there was an increase, namely the observations results were 94,44% so that it was in the very good category. The results of observations of students learning avctivities in cycle I and cycle II, in cycle I the observation results were 66,67% with the less category. In cycle II there was an increase, namely the observation results were 88,89% so that it was in the good category. Student learning results in cycle I and cycle II, in cycle I only obtained 61,53% with the less category and in cycle II there was an in increase in learning results, namely obtaining 84,61%  with the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model and the improvement of student learning outcomes after the model is applied to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 27 students of class VIII.2 UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Sabbangparu, Wajo Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches to determine the improvement in learning outcomes and student activities during the learning process. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model is able to significantly improve student learning outcomes. In the initial conditions, only 29.63% of students achieved learning mastery. After the implementation of the TPS model in cycle I, the percentage of completion increased to 66.66%, then increased again in cycle II to 92.59%, thus achieving the set classical completion, which is ≥75%. In addition to improving learning outcomes, student activity in the learning process also experienced good development. Students appeared more active in independent thinking (think), discussing with partners (pair), and presenting discussion results in front of the class (share). Thus, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share (TPS) type is effective in improving learning outcomes and student activity in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to produce Powtoon-based instructional video media that is feasible, practical, and effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes and strengthening the sense of national pride (Cinta Tanah Air) among fifth-grade students at SD IT Al-Minah. The main problem addressed is low student learning outcomes, with classical completeness reaching only 23.07% due to dependence on conventional printed media. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects consisted of 26 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, validation questionnaires, and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test). The results indicate that the Powtoon animation video media is highly feasible, with material expert validation at 92% and media expert validation at 93%. The practicality level reached 93% based on assessments by educational practitioners. Furthermore, the media proved effective in improving student learning outcomes, with the average score rising from 56 to 84 and achieving 100% classical completeness. It can be concluded that Powtoon animated video media is highly feasible and effective as an innovative learning tool to enhance material mastery while internalizing the values of patriotism for elementary school students.
