Abstract

The background of this study is the lack of teaching materials that integrate technology into learning. This study aims to develop and test the validity, practicality and effectiveness of a differentiated Mathematics learning module based on Khan Academy Kids containing TPACK to improve the mathematical reasoning skills of Phase A elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE research model consisting of five stages, namely: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 25 students in grade I of SDN Sampangan 01 Semarang. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires on the practicality of the teaching module, and pretest and posttest mathematical reasoning ability tests to measure effectiveness. The results of the study showed that: (1) The developed teaching module was declared valid based on expert assessments with an average score of 99.3% or in the very valid category. (2) The teaching module is declared practical to use based on the acquisition of a score of 75% or is included in the practical category. (3) The effectiveness of the teaching module through the Paired Sample T-Test shows a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which indicates an increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities before and after the learning process is carried out. The SPSS output data from the summary of descriptive statistics shows that the average pretest score is 10.1600 and the average posttest is 11.7600. The N-Gain value obtained is 0.3725. This shows that the development of a differentiated Mathematics learning module based on Khan Academy Kids containing TPACK is effective in improving the mathematical reasoning abilities of elementary school phase A students.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence (EQ) and digital leadership are critical elements in addressing the challenges of the technological transformation era accelerated by artificial intelligence (AI). This article aims to analyze the role of EQ in enhancing digital leadership effectiveness, identifying challenges faced by leaders, and providing practical recommendations for organizations. The research employs a systematic literature review method from reputable journals such as Scopus and Sinta, focusing on publications from the past five years. The findings reveal that EQ is vital in building interpersonal relationships, managing stress, and fostering an inclusive work culture even in virtual settings. Leaders with high EQ can understand employees' emotional needs, provide appropriate support, and create innovative and collaborative work environments. However, key challenges such as limited face-to-face interactions, reliance on technology, and pressure to achieve high performance require specific strategies to integrate EQ into digital leadership practices. This article concludes that EQ is not merely an additional skill but a fundamental element that can enhance organizational performance and employee well-being in the digital era. By effectively applying EQ principles, leaders can establish a healthy, productive work culture that adapts to technological changes.

Abstract

The implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols in schools is essential for fostering a safe, healthy, and productive learning environment. This study aims to analyze how OHS protocols are applied in Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) by reviewing recent literature published between 2020 and 2025. Using a literature review method, this research identifies five key themes: integration of Islamic values, school leadership, student participation, institutional readiness, and social collaboration. The findings show that values such as amanah (responsibility), ihsan (excellence), and ukhuwah (brotherhood) strengthen the internalization of safety culture in SIT environments. Leadership that is transformational and religiously grounded plays a crucial role in shaping sustainable OHS practices. However, various systemic limitations, including lack of resources, contextual SOPs, and formal reporting systems, continue to hinder optimal implementation. This study concludes that OHS protocols in SIT require an adaptive, integrative, and values-based approach that aligns with the spiritual and structural uniqueness of Islamic education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the effectiveness of implementing the Jigsawcooperative learning strategy in the Social Studies (IPS) learning process at theElementary School (SD) level. The approach used is a literature study, by collectingand analyzing various sources such as scientific journals, books, and articles thatare relevant to the implementation and impact of using the Jigsaw model ineducation. The findings in this study indicate that the Jigsaw method is able toencourage active student participation, strengthen collaborative interactions ingroups, and improve understanding of IPS materials. In addition, this strategycontributes to the development of social and communication skills betweenstudents. However, the success of implementing this strategy is greatly influencedby a number of factors, including teacher competence in managing the learningprocess, student readiness to collaborate, and the availability of sufficient facilitiesand time. Other challenges that arise include limited allocation of learning time inthe curriculum and disparities in abilities between group members. Overall, thisstudy concludes that the Jigsaw strategy has the potential to improve the quality ofIPS learning, as long as it is supported by adequate planning and facilities.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia requires teachers to innovate in designing effective learning by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This study examines the motivation of two driving teachers in utilizing Information and Communication Technology in designing learning devices at SD Negeri 001/IV, Jambi City. With a qualitative approach, data were collected through staged interviews for time triangulation and document analysis of teaching modules that had been designed by the driving teachers. Motivational factors are categorized into intrinsic and extrinsic aspects, which are adapted from Maslow and McClelland's theories. The results of the study revealed differences in motivational factors between the two driving teachers. The first driving teacher was first motivated by intrinsic factors before being influenced by extrinsic factors, while the second driving teacher was first driven by extrinsic factors before then having intrinsic motivation that developed over time. This study confirms that the use of ICT in designing learning devices is influenced by various motivational factors that encourage teachers to innovate in teaching so that it is more student-centered.

Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, technological developments have an important role in education, including Indonesian language subjects. Teachers and students can utilize technological advances to create more interesting and enjoyable learning. However, the reality in the field is the lack of use of learning media that can make students active in learning, causing low levels of student motivation in Indonesian language subjects in the classroom. This research aims to produce a product in the form of multimedia based on the Kahoot application in Indonesian language subjects on the theme of learning entrepreneurship for grade V students at SDN Dringu. This research method uses a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the product trial research show the level of feasibility with an average score of 94% with the product feasibility assessment criteria in the very feasible category. If described, the media expert gets a score of 96%, the material expert gets a score of 92%, and the learning practitioner gets a score of 94%. While the questionnaire results from student responses scored 90% with a very good category. The conclusion of the research and development of Kahoot application-based multimedia is an interesting and fun game-based digital media. Kahoot application-based multimedia can be used as a tool in Indonesian subjects on the theme of learning entrepreneurship when it will be studied by utilizing the features in the Kahoot application.

Abstract

Speech acts are a type of spoken language and part of pragmatics that occur in both verbal and nonverbal contexts. This study examines the use of speech acts by the characters in Stranger Things: Season 3, focusing on illocutionary acts as classified by Searle (1980), which include assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative speech acts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research analyzes the speech acts found in the characters' utterances to determine their types, frequency, and relevance to characterization. The results indicate that all five types of speech acts appear in the series, assertive (36.18%), directive (36.64%), expressive (24.91%), commissive (1.87%), and declarative (0.40%). Assertive speech acts, which include stating, affirming, and describing, are frequently used by the main characters to convey information and theories. The presence of speech acts in Stranger Things: Season 3 is also consistent with the creative vision of the Duffer Brothers as directors.The high frequency of assertive and directive speech acts in the study illustrates how characters often face urgent situations that require immediate action, whether in confronting supernatural threats or navigating everyday social interactions. Overall, speech acts in Stranger Things: Season 3 shape character interactions and drive the plot, consistent with the Duffer Brothers' storytelling style.

Abstract

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of developing skills that enable individuals to understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL includes five core competencies: self- awareness, self-management, social awareness, relational skills, and responsible decision making (CASEL, 2020). The method used in this research is a literature review. The data source was taken by reviewing articles containing research results on Social-Emotional learning in inclusive schools which came from 2 main sources, namely Google Scholar and Publish or Perish. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of SEL in PDBK in inclusive schools. The subjects of this research are low class GDPK in Inclusive Schools. The results of this research show that there are still many students with special needs who do not receive SEL intervention at school.

Abstract

Early reading skills are a fundamental aspect of basic education that plays an important role in students' academic development. However, according to the results of observations in class 1C of SDN Ngagelrejo 1/396 Surabaya, it is known that the majority of students experience challenges in reading basicly. Therefore, creative learning methods are needed to improve students' reading skills. The focus of this study is to improve the early reading ability of grade 1C students at SDN Ngagelrejo 1/396 Surabaya by utilizing word card media. This study applied a classroom action research method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart models, which included the planning phases, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection applied in two cycles. The study subjects consisted of 28 students who were selected according to the results of observations and preliminary tests that showed the need for improvement in reading ability. Data is collected through testing, observation, and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the application of card media in a structured and intensive manner has a positive impact on improving students' reading skills. In the pre-action, only 42.86% of students obtained an average score but after cycle II, the figure increased to 85.71%. In addition, students' reading ability experienced an increase in average score from 67.25 in the pre-action to 83.21 in the second cycle. This improvement indicates that word cards as an attractive learning medium and supported by intensive teacher guidance can effectively improve students' initial reading skills.

Abstract

The development of technology has changed all aspects of human life, including the way of learning and accessing information. At the elementary school level, the integration of technology in Islamic Religious Education learning is still rarely done. Therefore, this study aims to explore a form of Islamic Religious Education learning innovation by integrating technology in the form of e-discovery learning and flipped classroom at the elementary school level. This study is a type of library research that collects data using literature studies and is analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the use of e-discovery learning applications with flipped classroom strategies in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools is relevant to overcoming learning problems in the classroom in the form of limited time and learning resources.
