Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Instagram social media on the decision to visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) after its revitalization. This research uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to visitors who had visited TMII after the official announcement of the revitalization. The independent variable consists of four dimensions: content quality, interactivity, credibility, and relevance. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that three dimensions—content quality, interactivity, and relevance—have a significant effect on the decision to visit, while credibility does not show a significant influence. The coefficient of determination of 90.1% indicates that Instagram has a strong influence on visitors’ decisions. These findings illustrate that Instagram can be an effective promotional tool, particularly in stimulating interest in visiting tourist destinations after revitalization. This study is expected to serve as a reference for destination managers and future researchers in developing digital marketing strategies in the tourism sector.

Abstract

This study discusses the existence of legendary cuisine in the Glodok Chinatown area of Jakarta as a cultural heritage that reflects the social, cultural, and historical values of the Chinese community. The issue raised is the decline in legendary cuisine due to a lack of regeneration of business operators. The objective of this study is to explore and document the gastronomic value of Glodok's legendary cuisine through an ethnographic approach. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative study with an ethnographic approach. The population in this study is all legendary culinary business operators in Glodok, while the sample focuses on three stalls that have existed for decades, namely Kopi Es Tak Kie (since 1927), Kari Lam (since 1973), and Laksa Lao Hoe (since 1980). Data collection techniques were conducted through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive qualitative conclusion drawing. This study utilized nine components of gastronomy according to Turgarini, such as history, raw materials, presentation, tasting, ethics and etiquette, and dining experience. The results of the study show that these three cuisines still maintain their original flavors, ingredients, and strong traditional values, and have become unique gastronomic tourist attractions. However, the sustainability of these cuisines depends on the willingness of the younger generation to preserve this cultural heritage. This study contributes to the preservation of culinary culture as part of the city's identity and efforts to develop sustainable tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of technology use on the effectiveness of social development assessments in early childhood. The issues addressed include the challenges of integrating technology into the decision-making process and early childhood education (ECE) teachers’ perspectives on its use. The method employed in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach based on literature review, focusing on various relevant scientific sources from the past ten years. The results indicate that interactive technologies, such as educational applications and digital games, can enhance children's engagement and facilitate more efficient data collection. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as potential dependency on technology and reduced social interaction, which may hinder child development. Therefore, training for educators in the effective use of technology is crucial to improving the quality of education and social assessment in children. This research is expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of more accurate and contextual assessments, and serve as a guide for policy-making in promoting the targeted use of technology in early childhood education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis Whole Brain Teaching (WBT) serta strategi kolaboratif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dalam memahami teks puisi pada siswa kelas delapan di SMPN 7 Rantau Bayur, Kabupaten Banyuasin. Kajian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif melalui rancangan eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak setara (an experimental framework with unequal control and intervention setups) yang mencakup tahap pretest dan posttest. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 7 Rantau Bayur, Kabupaten Banyuasin, dengan partisipasi 36 siswa sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian ujian serta dokumentasi. Temuan studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa baik pendekatan yang berlandaskan pada Whole Brain Teaching maupun strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam memahami teks puisi. Namun demikian, model Whole Brain Teaching memberikan dampak yang lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan strategi kolaboratif, sebagaimana dibuktikan melalui pencapaian posttest siswa pada kelompok eksperimen.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) find out the interactive learning media canva based on android based to improve the skills of educators in Elementary Schools (2) find out the level of media feasibility through validation by material experts, media, and (3) find out the level of effectiveness of learning media. This study uses the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of expert validation show the feasibility of the media with a percentage of 86% (media experts), and 98% (material experts). The results of practicality 87% by teacher response questionnaires, The results of effectiveness show a significant increase in pre-test (54.95) and post-test (87.72) values, with an N-gain value of 0.7081 which shows a high increase, thus the learning media developed is effective for use in learning ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui media pembelajaran interaktif canva berbasis android berbasisuntuk meningkatkan keterampilan pendidik di Sekolah Dasar (2)mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media melalui validasi oleh ahli materi, media, serta (3) mengetahui tingkat efektivitas media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan kelayakan media dengan persentase 86% (ahli media), dan 98% (ahli materi). Hasil kepraktisan 87% oleh angket respon guru, Hasil keefektifan menunjukkan peningkatansignifikan pada nilai pre-test (54.95) dan post-test (87.72), dengan nilai N-gain 0,7081 yang menunjukkan peningkatan tinggi, dengan demikian media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL)learning model assisted by wordwall media on the critical thinking skills of studentsin the office management expertise program class X of SMK Ketintang Surabaya.The research method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. Thesample consisted of 35 students of class X MP 2 as the experimental class and 36students of class X MP 3 as the control class. The research data were obtained fromtest results, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques usednormality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and gain score tests. Theresults of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a significant influenceon the posttest results between the control group and the experimental groupbecause the Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that H1is accepted, it can be stated that the Problem Based Learning learning modelassisted by wordwall media in the basics of office management and businessservices subjects affects students' critical thinking skills. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk megetahui pengaruh model pembelajaranProblem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media wordwall terhadap kemampuanberpikir kritis siswa program keahlian manajemen perkantoran kelas X SMKKetintang Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengandesain quasi experimental desaign. Sampel terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas X MP 2sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas X MP 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Datapenelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji gain score. Hasiluji hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan dalamhasil posttest antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen karena nilai Sig.(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05. Dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterimamaka dapat dinyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learningberbantuan media wordwall pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar manajemenperkantoran dan layanan bisnis mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak The background of this research is that there is a tendency for high consumptive behavior shown by some students when interacting in social environments and digital media. Teachers and school counselors face challenges in helping students manage excessive consumption impulses. Therefore, the researcher and Guidance and Counseling teachers took the initiative to develop counseling services using the Gestalt approach, so that students can improve self- awareness and control consumptive behavior. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Kota Serang over a one-month period during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Gestalt approach in terms of students' consumptive behavior before and after the application of the Gestalt approach in guidance services at SMAN 2 Kota Serang. The research method used is quantitative research with a correlational design. The subjects of this study consisted of 240 tenth-grade students selected using random sampling techniques. The research instrument used a Likert scale questionnaire, and data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.851 with a significance level of 0.000. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the application of the Gestalt approach is effective, as there is a very significant relationship between the effectiveness of the Gestalt approach and the reduction of consumptive behavior among tenth-grade students at SMAN 2 Kota Serang.

Abstract

Introduction: Teachers face challenges in adapting innovative teaching methods in the digital era. Classroom Action Research (CAR) has emerged as a solution to enhance the quality of teaching and teacher competence. Objectives: To improve the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes, as well as to equip teachers with reflective and problem-solving skills. Methods: This study examines the development and trends of CAR research from 2018 to 2024 through a literature review. Findings: CAR has been proven effective in driving teaching transformation, enhancing teacher collaboration, and improving understanding of student needs. Conclusion: CAR serves as an effective instrument for teacher professional development. Its success depends on institutional support, teacher collaboration, and a commitment to reflection and continuous improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of extracurricular speech activities on students' literacy interests and abilities at MINU Unggulan Sukorejo. Speech activities as part of non-formal learning are believed to be able to foster learning motivation, increase self-confidence, and encourage students to be more active in reading and writing. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The objects of the study consisted of students participating in the speech extracurricular, supervising teachers, and parents of students. The results of the study indicate that student involvement in speech activities can increase their interest in literacy activities, especially in the aspects of reading and compiling ideas in a structured manner. In addition, students also show development in speaking skills, critical thinking, and sensitivity to reading content. Therefore, extracurricular speech activities make a positive contribution to strengthening the culture of literacy in the MINU Unggulan Sukorejo environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by factors that interfere with students' ability to concentrate during class, namely, lack of interest in the material and boredom with the lesson. In addition, teachers who do not use enough learning models can hinder the teaching and learning process. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is one of the innovative teaching models that motivates students to learn in a context and facilitates collaboration through complex activities that encourage students to be more active and motivated. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the project based learning model on students' concentration in learning Pancasila Education subjects. This type of research uses a Quantitative Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The results of this study by collecting pretest and posttest questionnaire data on learning concentration with a total of 21 students. The results of the Hypothesis Test using the normality test the Shapiro Wilk formula, the Pretest value is 0.362> 0.05 and the Posttest value is 0.180> 0.05, so the data is normally distributed. Meanwhile, the hypothesis test with the t-test sig value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, and the simple linear regression test value 0.000 < 0.05, then the X variable has an influence on the Y variable, then H0 can be decided to be rejected and Ha can be accepted. Thus, the project based learning model has an influence on the concentration of students' learning of the Pancasila education subject in class V of SD Islam Plus YLPI
