Abstract

The problem of this research is where during science learning students tend to be passive and do not want to ask questions when the teacher asks questions to students, they only answer these questions with answers that are already listed in the book. To follow up on these problems, the researchers tried to provide a solution to the problem, namely by using a combination of learning models consisting of Problem Based Learning (PBL), Children Learning In Science (CLIS). The approach used in this research is qualitative research and this type of research applies classroom action research. The types of data presented in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of data on teacher activities, student activities and student learning motivation in teaching and learning process activities, through observation with observation sheets. Quantitative data in the form of student learning outcomes obtained through written tests at the end of each meeting. This research was conducted at SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin in the even semester of class VB in the 2023/2024 academic year. After conducting 4 meetings with 2 cycles, the results showed that the activities of teachers, students, student learning motivation, WASAKA character and learning outcomes increased in each cycle with the categories "Very Active", "Very High" and "Completed". This proves that learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, Children Learning In Science (CLIS) is stated to be effective.

Abstract

The use of learning models that have not created a learning atmosphere that creates passive students has an impact on students' collaboration skills. The purpose of this study was to improve collaboration skills through jigsaw cooperative learning in grade V elementary school. The type of research used was collaborative classroom action research (CCA) conducted over two cycles which included planning, implementation observation and reflection. The collection techniques used were questionnaires and observation. The results of this PTKK found that the learning process using the jigsaw cooperative learning model proved to be able to improve students' collaboration skills. This can be proven by the acquisition of questionnaire data related to students' responses related to collaboration skills. In the pre-cycle, an average of 48.92% was obtained, then there was an increase in cycle I and cycle II with an average of 70.08% and 88.44%. From the response questionnaire data obtained in cycle I and II, it shows an increase of 18.36%. Therefore, this research has implications for the learning process that can be used by teachers as teacher feedback and learning models that can facilitate students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning Indonesian through the application of the Problem Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in class IV-D at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research (PTKK). This research was carried out over two cycles which included planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use observation and written tests. The subjects of this research were students in class IV-D at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya, totaling 26 students. The resulting data shows an increase in critical thinking skills which can be proven by the results for two cycles. In the implementation of cycle I, the average percentage result was 56.15%, while cycle II obtained the average percentage result of 82.3%, resulting in an increase of 26.15%. Based on the presentation of these results, it can be concluded that the results of this research show that critical thinking skills by applying the Problem Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach have increased significantly. This can be seen from the increase in the average percentage from cycle I and cycle II in class IV-D at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya with information material, characters and problems in the odd semester stories of the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Sports psychology is a science that studies psychological factors that can influence a person's mentality and performance when exercising. This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of sports psychology on the mentality of volleyball players in Nangka Village. The method used in this research is a quantitative method in the form of an experiment with a pre-experimental design type. Researchers used this method because in this study there were no control variables and the samples used in this study were obtained based on conditions determined by the researcher. The data analysis technique for this research uses a scoring system. Based on the results of the validity test, it shows that the results of the questionnaire on the influence of sports psychology on the mentality of volleyball players, almost all of the items were declared valid, but there were 3 statement items that were invalid. So a total of 22 question items about the influence of sports psychology on the mentality of volleyball players were used in this research. Based on the SPSS processing results, the reliability test shows that the results of the reliability test using Cronbach Alpha obtained a value of a=0.985 (>0.361), meaning that the questionnaire was declared reliable.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through an approach Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) in learning Problem Based Learning (PBL). The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) involving class III D students at SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya. This research was carried out in two cycles starting with action planning, learning implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using test sheets to measure students' critical thinking abilities. The research results show that the application of the TaRL approach in the PBL model can significantly increase students' critical thinking abilities which can be seen from the results of the percentage of students in cycle 1, namely 50.34% with the critical thinking indicator providing a simple explanation. The percentage results on student indicators provide further explanation, namely 67.24%. The critical thinking indicator for building basic skills produces a percentage of 68.96%. The percentage result of the indicator analyzing data is 68.96% and the percentage result of the indicator identifying assumptions and deciding on alternatives for solutions is 58.62%. In cycle 2 activities there was an increase in the percentage of students' critical thinking skills, namely in the indicator of providing simple explanations with a percentage of 86.20%, in the indicator of making further explanations there was a percentage of 83%, building skills produced a percentage of 86.20%, indicators of analyzing data produced a percentage 86.20%, and the indicator of identifying assumptions and deciding on alternatives for solutions produces a percentage of 87.93%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the character of global diversity through the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) subjects in grade 5 of elementary school. The VCT model is an approach that allows students to clarify their values and attitudes in greater depth. In this research, teachers use the VCT method to help students understand and internalize the values of diversity, tolerance, and cooperation. The research results show that the application of the VCT model significantly increases students' understanding of various aspects of global diversity. Students are better able to recognize cultural differences, appreciate diversity, and interact well in a multicultural environment. Thus, the VCT model can be an effective alternative for developing diverse character in students at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to enhance the science of light and its properties learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri Pradah KaliKendal I Surabaya through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) paradigm. Planning, action, observation, and reflection are the four steps of the two cycles that make up the Classroom Action study (PTK) study methodology. There were twenty-five pupils in class V who served as the research subjects. While data analysis techniques employ descriptive analysis, data gathering techniques include observation sheets, testing, and documentation. The average proportion of students' learning outcomes has grown, according to the research findings. The student learning outcomes score was 40% incomplete in the Pre-Cycle before to treatment, 72% in the First Cycle, and 72% in the Second Cycle.

Abstract

This research aims to identify effective learning models through the implementation of LSLC activities that influence student activities. The research was carried out in three cycles, each involving two open classes. The research sample consisted of phase D students, especially grade 8 at SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya, in science and technology subjects. The student activity criteria were adapted from Singarimbun, which includes: 1) a score of 1 for very inactive; 2) score 2 for inactive; 3) score 3 for less active; 4) value 4 for active; and 5) score 5 for very active. Data was collected through observations by observers during open classes. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and quantitatively by describing the number and percentage of active students. The results of observations regarding student activities are discussed in reflection sessions and used as a basis for determining the next learning model. This research applies the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using media such as pictures, colored objects, guided inquiry approaches, practice, role playing, and project-based models. The participation rate of active to very active students reached 95%, which is the highest result in the project-based model. Differences in activity were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA with the help of SPSS v25. The results of the analysis show an R Square value of 0.928, which shows that student activity has increased due to the influence of the learning model by 92.8%. "The ANOVA test shows a significance value (Sig) of 0.000, and the coefficient test also produces a Sig value of 0.000, which shows that the learning model has a significant influence on student activities."   Keywords: student activities, guided inquiry, project based learning, Problem Based Learning (PBL)

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in spatial geometry material for class V-C students of SDN Manukan Kulon II/499 Surabaya through the use of concrete media. The subjects of this study were class V-C students of SDN Manukan Kulon II/499 Surabaya consisting of 25 students. The method used in this study was collaborative classroom action (PTKK) which was carried out in two cycles. In cycles I and II, learning was carried out with a focus on the elements of cube and cuboid spatial geometry using concrete media. The results showed an increase in the percentage of learning completion from 52% to 88% in cycle II, with the average learning outcomes of students increasing from 71.2 to 91.2. This shows that the use of improved concrete media and group learning can increase student activity and understanding. It can be concluded that there was an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in spatial geometry material using concrete media for class V-C students of SDN Manukan Kulon II/499 Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan psikomotorik peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sukosari 01 melalui pembelajaran IPAS berbantuan media pembelajaran yaitu Snake Ladder. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode analisis berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sukosari 01 sebanyak tujuh peserta didik. Objek penelitian yaitu aspek psikomotorik peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi Membangun Masyarakat yang Beradab dengan berbantu media pembelajaran berupa Snack Ladder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yaitu bahwa aspek psikomotorik peserta didik kelas IV cukup rendah serta pemahaman dalam mata pelajaran IPAS masih terbilang kurang. Penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aspek psikomotorik pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil uji yang dilakukan memperoleh data pada siklus I yaitu hanya terdapat 3 peserta didik yang sesuai dengan kriteria dengan persentase 60%. Pada siklus II mendapatkan hasil uji yang memperoleh data bahwa seluruh peserta didik kelas IV memenuhi kriteria yang dilakukan dengan persentase 100%. Sehingga pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan dalam aspek psikomotorik peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa impementasi media Snake Ladder pada pembelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan psikomotorik peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sukosari 01 Dagangan, Kabupaten Madiun.
