Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research was conducted because of the low ability of students in understanding the syllable material of Indonesian language lessons and the lack of utilization of learning media. The purpose of this study was to produce a product in the form of Audio Visual Media in the Indonesian language subject for class I SDN Kademangan 2 Probolinggo. This study uses the research and development method (Research & Development). The development model used in this study is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the results of research and development, it shows a percentage of 94% by learning material experts, by learning media experts 90%, Indonesian language learning practitioners with a percentage of 95%, and the results of the recapitulation of student responses with a percentage of 92%. The results concluded that the development of audio visual learning media based on the Canva application on the Syllable material in Indonesian language lessons developed using the ADDIE model is suitable for use as a learning medium.

This study is motivated by students’ difficulties in deeply understanding mathematical concepts, as indicated by a dominant procedural thinking pattern. This difficulty is reflected in students struggling to comprehend prerequisite materials, connect concepts with real-life contexts, restate concepts, distinguish examples from non-examples, and apply algorithms in problem-solving, along with limited relevance to daily life. The current learning approach does not emphasize meaningful conceptual understanding related to green education, nor has it incorporated innovative media such as digital comics in the learning process. This study aims to examine the development process, attractiveness, and effectiveness of digital comic media based on the Green Education approach in improving students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The results show that the digital comic media received an average feasibility score of 3.58 from media validation experts and 3.56 from content validation experts, both categorized as “Feasible.” Attractiveness testing on a small scale yielded a score of 3.35 and on a large scale 3.45, both classified as “Very Attractive.” Effectiveness evaluation using the Gain Index test resulted in a score of 0.67, categorized as “Moderate,” while the N-Gain score percentage was 67%, categorized as “Fairly Effective.

The purpose of this study is to produce picture story book products to improve the character of mutual cooperation of grade 1 elementary school students. The subjects of this study were grade 1 students of SDIT El Wafa. The type of research used in this study is research and development with the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this study were grade 1 students of SDIT EL Wafa. The results of this research on developing picture story books are: (1) picture story media as a learning tool for Pancasila education, especially in the subject of mutual cooperation at school; (2) the media developed is in the form of a book with interesting illustrations in accordance with the development of grade 1 elementary school students; From the results of the feasibility test conducted by three validators, namely media experts, language experts, and bucergam material experts, an average percentage of 94.19% was obtained, with a very feasible category. The results of the teacher's response obtained an average percentage of 90.6%, while the results of the trial through the student response questionnaire for the small group test obtained a percentage of 84%, and the large group test obtained a percentage of 85%. The results before and after the treatment increased by 1,019 with a practical category.

Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh Kesehatan Mental dan emosional yang dihadapi oleh anak-anak yang ibunya merantau untuk bekerja, mengungkapkan dampak signifikan pada kesehatan mental dan kinerja akademis mereka. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak ini sering mengalami kesedihan, kesepian, dan kecemasan, yang mengakibatkan penurunan fokus dan motivasi di sekolah. Faktor sosial-ekonomi memainkan peran penting, karena keluarga dengan status ekonomi yang lebih rendah lebih kesulitan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan anak-anak mereka, yang memperburuk masalah psikologis. Penelitian ini menyoroti perbedaan respons emosional yang terkait dengan usia, di mana anak-anak yang lebih muda menunjukkan kesedihan dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi, sementara anak-anak yang lebih tua mungkin merasa terisolasi dan menantang, meskipun tetap mempertahankan empati. Selain itu, beberapa anak mengembangkan strategi koping yang positif, seperti memahami ketidakhadiran ibu mereka, yang membantu mengatasi kesedihan emosional mereka. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini menekankan perlunya dukungan yang terarah bagi keluarga yang terkena dampak migrasi ibu untuk mendorong perkembangan emosional dan sosial yang lebih sehat pada anak-anak.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Smart Cassette-based mufradat method in improving Arabic language skills in grade I students of SD Islam Plus Al Muhajirin, Pondok Pucung - Jombang. The mufradat method is a learning technique that focuses on vocabulary mastery as a basis for language skills. Meanwhile, Smart Cassette is used as an interactive learning media that helps students understand, remember, and pronounce mufradat more effectively. This study uses an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test control group design. Based on the validity test table in this study, variable X (Mufradat Method) and variable Y (Arabic Language Skills) have been tested and obtained an r table of 0.444 and is said to be valid if r count> r table. The reliability test uses the Alpha Cronbach formula with a reliability value of 0.725. The N-Gain test shows that the average N-Gain Score for the control class is 0.111 with a low category, while the average N-Gain Score for the experimental class is 0.604 with a medium category. The normality test using the Shapiro Wilk formula was used to determine class normality, the level of significance of the ability to analyze in the control class and the experimental class was 0.05 from the significance criteria, then H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. The homogeneity test that had been carried out had obtained a Levene statistic result of 0.350> 0.05 which meant that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. The T-Independent test obtained a t-test result of 3.683 with a significance value (2tailed) of 0.001 <0.05 which indicated that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the Arabic language skills of students using the Smart Cassette-based mufradat method compared to the control group. The conclusion of this study is that the Smart Cassette-based mufradat method can be an effective learning alternative in improving Arabic language skills in grade I students. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more innovative and interesting Arabic language learning methods for students at the elementary school level.

Instructional media play a vital role in assisting teachers to facilitate effective learning and achieve educational goals. At SDIT Ibnu Yunsi Kota Binjai, however, the existing teaching materials are considered insufficiently engaging, which negatively affects the learning process and contributes to low student performance. Preliminary investigations reveal that students’ academic abilities remain relatively low. This study aims to design and develop digital comic-based learning media that integrates a deep learning approach to enhance students’ academic achievement, particularly in the Indonesian language subject. The research adopts a development methodology based on the Borg and Gall model. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and classroom observations. The participants involved were fourth-grade students from SDIT Ibnu Yunsi Kota Binjai, along with the digital media and instructional content created. The media was evaluated by both media and subject matter experts, who rated it as highly accessible and user-friendly. Validation and field-testing results demonstrated that the media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes, with an effectiveness rate reaching 90%. Therefore, the study concludes that the deep learning-oriented digital comic media developed is highly suitable as a teaching aid for Indonesian language instruction at the elementary school level.

This classroom action research was conducted to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Pancasila Education by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model combined with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The study involved 13 third-grade students at SDN 4 Palangka during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The learning process was carried out using the PBL model that emphasizes problem-solving and was integrated with the CRT approach, which respects students' cultural backgrounds to make learning more contextual and meaningful. The research data were collected through observation, documentation, and tests administered at the end of each cycle. The results of the pre-cycle showed a class average score of 52.30, with only 30.77% of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). In Cycle I, the class average increased to 70.76 with 69.23% mastery. In Cycle II, there was a significant improvement with an average score of 90.00 and 84.61% of students achieving mastery. These findings indicate that the application of the PBL model combined with the CRT approach effectively enhances students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education.

The problem of children's low reading skills at Kindergarten Aisyiyah 5 Padang sparked this study. This occurs because children's reading development programs that utilize media are uninteresting. way that teaching reading becomes tedious for children quickly. Finding out how much of an impact Lego letter media has on the reading abilities of 5- and 6-year-olds in Kindergarten Aisyiyah 5 Padang is the primary goal of this study. This study employs a quantitative approach and employs a quasi-experimental research method. The children enrolled in Kindergarten Aisyiyah 5 Padang made up the entire population, while fourteen students from classes B4 and B6 made up the sample. Statistical tests for homogeneity, hypothesis testing, and normalcy were applied to the collected data. A sig value of 0.008 was retrieved from the hypothesis test table's sig.(2-tailed) column. Indicating that 0.008 < 0.05, this number is presented. As per the measurement requirements outlined in the hypothesis test, a sig value less than 0.05 is considered significant. Children at Aisyiyah Kindergarten 5 Padang, who are five or six years old, benefit from using Lego letter media to hone their reading abilities.

This study aims to determine the comparison of student learning outcomes in Contextual Teaching Learning and Guided Inquiry learning in class IV UPT SDN Inpres Salimbongan. The approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type in the form of a pretest-posttest group design. The population is all students of UPT SD Inpres Salimbongan, while the sample is class IVA as an experimental class of the Contextual Teaching Learning model with a total of 19 students and class IVB as an experimental class of Guided Inquiry with a total of 19 students, the sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by providing Pretest and Posttest questions. The data analysis technique is the Independent Sample T-test. The Guided Inquiry model is more effective in improving learning outcomes because it emphasizes exploration. Investigation, and active involvement of students, meanwhile, Contextual Teaching Learning is more effective in building conceptual understanding by connecting material with real experiences of students. Based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis, it shows Sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the Contextual Teaching Learning model and the Guided Inquiry model. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that there is a difference in the learning outcomes of students using Contextual Teaching Learning and Guided Inquiry learning models in class IV UPT SDN Inpres Salimbongan.

This study aims to determine and describe "learning strategies for inclusive students at SDN 1 Poka". The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects of the study were homeroom teachers and class teachers. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that: Constraints in inclusive student learning (1) the absence of a special tutor (GPK) (2) teachers do not have experience in inclusive student learning (3) in terms of seating arrangements (4) learning materials are the same as regular student learning materials. The learning planning process of SDN 1 Poka School categorizes inclusive students in class IV (one person) using the same RPP as regular students. In achieving the learning objectives that have been determined, in the implementation of learning, the homeroom teacher and class teacher work together in the learning process, the learning methods used are lecture, question and answer, and discussion methods so that they still involve inclusive students, (slow learners) and learning for inclusive students is quite good because of the motivation given by educators. In the evaluation of learning, there are two assessments at SDN 1 Poka for inclusive students, namely the performance test (oral test) and the written test.
