Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1) Pengaruh standar literasi numerasi terhadap mutu Pendidikan di SD Negeri Kecamatan Ilir Barat I, 2) Pengaruh standar informasi terhadap mutu Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Ilir Barat I, 3) Pengaruh antara standar literasi numerasi dan system informasi dalam meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan di SD Negeri Kecamatan Ilir Barat I. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 110 guru, dengan sampel sebanyak 86 guru yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dengan sumber data utama berasal dari data primer. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan berganda dengan SPSS versi 26.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Standar literasi numerasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri Kecamatan Ilir Barat I, 2) Sistem informasi pendidikan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri Kecamatan Ilir Barat I, 3) Standar literasi numerasi dan sistem informasi pendidikan secara bersama-sama berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri Kecamatan Ilir Barat I.

Parental involvement in early childhood education serves as a crucial foundation for shaping children's character, moral values, and basic skills. Although formal education is available, the role of the family remains a primary factor in a child’s development. However, the degree of parental involvement varies depending on social, economic, and educational backgrounds. This study aims to describe the forms of parental involvement in early childhood education and the influencing factors. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through interviews and observations involving selected informants. The findings reveal three main points. First, parents generally hold a positive perception of the importance of early childhood education. Second, the forms of involvement vary, ranging from actively assisting children’s learning to fully delegating the responsibility to a partner or educational institution. Third, involvement is influenced by factors such as time availability, spousal support, availability of learning resources at home, and the educational background of parents. These findings highlight the significance of family support as the primary learning environment from an early age.

Wireless network security is an important aspect in maintaining the operational continuity of an organization, especially with the increasing cyber threats to network infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the methods that have been used in securing Wireless Access Points (WAP) through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review process was carried out using the PRISMA method, which involves selecting literature based on certain inclusion criteria from various academic sources such as Google Scholar. From the selection results, 30 scientific journals were analyzed to identify the methods used in testing wireless network security. The research findings show that Penetration Testing is the most common method used in network security analysis. In addition, other techniques such as Deauthentication Attack, Port Scanning, Wardriving Attack, and Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) are also applied in various studies. The results of this review confirm that WAP security requires a comprehensive and sustainable testing strategy to anticipate evolving cyber threats.

This research is motivated by the low level of science literacy among students in understanding learning materials. One of them is in understanding the concept of the water cycle which is abstract and the use of inadequate learning media tools. The objectives of this research were: 1) test the feasibility and practicality of Augmented Reality learning media on water cycle material, and 2) determine the effectiveness of Augmented Reality media in improving the science literacy of grade V elementary school students. This research uses an R&D approach with a 4D framework model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The data collection technique of this research is through interviews and questionnaires. This media showed material and media validity levels of 87.5% and 84%, respectively, with a very feasible category. Then, the large-scale trial resulted in an N-Gain score of 70.50%, which shows a very high level of effectiveness, while student responses also reached 84% with a very good assessment category. Based on the results of the study, that Augmented Reality media is feasible to be applied to assist students in learning.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang disalahgunakan telah mengakibatkan munculnya kejahatan modern seperti cyberbullying, yang menggunakan internet sebagai sarana pelaksanaannya. Kurangnya pengawasan di lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat, dan individu menyebabkan terjadinya cyberbullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki perlindungan hukum terhadap anak yang menjadi korban cyberbullying dan mengidentifikasi mekanisme penanggulangan cyberbullying terhadap anak. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif. Perlindungan anak dalam kasus cyberbullying secara normatif diatur dalam Pasal 29 Undang-undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2024 tentang Perubahan Kedua Atas Undang-undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE). Adapun mekanisme penanggulangan cyberbullying terhadap anak dapat dilakukan melalui upaya yang bersifat preventif dan upaya preemtif.

Pesatnya perkembangan pengetahuan dan teknologi abad 21, menuntut manusia memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Pada dunia pendidikan, HOTS merupakan kemampuan berpikir peserta didk yang tidak hanya mengingat tetapi juga diharapkan untuk dapat mengembangkan ide. Penelitian deksriptif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan mengetahui kendala dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS mata pelajaran matematika peserta didk kelas V. Data tersebut dikumpulkan dengan memberikan tes uraian dan wawancara kepada 85 peserta didk. Hasil analisis PAP pada skor akhir tes menunjukkan seabanyak 45 peserta didk (53%) memiliki Kemampuan Berpikir HOTS Cukup. Bagian selanjutnya melalui analisis isi, hasil wawancara menunjukkan terdapat 53 peserta didk (62%) peserta didk mengalami kendala pada proses membuat/membentuk kalimat matematika. Bersumber pada hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan peserta didk kelas V SDN 1 Gondangrejo cenderung memiliki kemampuan berpikir HOTS cukup serta masih rendah dalam menajawab soal dengan ranah kognitif C6, sedangkan kendala peserta didk terdapat pada proses membuat/membentuk kalimat matematika. Simpulan yang diperoleh berimplikasi pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir peserta didk tiap tingkat ranah kognitif melalui penilaian berbasis HOTS

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve science learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. This research uses experimental learning methods in class IV A SDN Empang Bahagia 1. The subjects in this study were class IV A students totaling 28 students in the 2024/2025 school year. The research was carried out using the cycle model of Kemmis and Mc. Tagart through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle I, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 64.28% and had not yet reached the specified percentage of success. In cycle II, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 85.71%. The teacher action monitoring instrument in cycle I was 87% which increased in cycle II which was 100%. The student action monitoring instrument in cycle I, 80%, increased in cycle II, 93%. The implication in this study is that the experimental learning method can be used as one of the learning methods to improve science learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school students. With the experimental method, students are able to understand the material of force well, analyze the theory of force in everyday life, actively discuss with their groups, be able to present the results of group discussions and be able to conclude learning activities that have taken place in class with direct guidance by the teacher.

This study examines the implementation of educational financing management strategies at Public Elementary School 42 Talang Ubi. The research aims to analyze how the school conducts financial planning, allocation, utilization, and evaluation to support the achievement of its educational objectives. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the school adopts several strategic measures, including participatory budgeting involving key stakeholders, expenditure prioritization based on academic and operational needs, and the practice of transparent financial reporting. These strategies have contributed to more efficient and accountable financial management, thereby supporting the quality of educational services. Nevertheless, the school continues to face challenges such as limited funding sources, dependence on government allocations, and delays in fund disbursement. The findings underscore the critical role of strategic financial management in enhancing educational effectiveness at the elementary level. The study recommends strengthening institutional capacity in financial management and exploring alternative funding mechanisms to ensure the sustainability of educational programs.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan komik digital berbasis aplikasi canva pada materi pengamalan Pancasila sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VI SDN 2 pendosawalan sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa. Metode pengembangan komik digital berbasis aplikasi canva ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini yakni guru dan siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Pendosawalan. Instrument yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar validasi, dan lembar angket. Hasil dari kelayakan media pembelajaran mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Layak” dari validator ahli materi dan ahli media sebesar 92% dan 93%. Kepraktisan media pembelajaran mednapatkan kategori “Sangat Praktis” dari respon siswa dan guru sebesar 83% dan 92%. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa komik digital telah layak dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berimplikasi bahwa proses pembelajaran menjadi efektif, siswa lebih berminat membaca dengan kalimat sederhana, mudah dipahami dan adanya variasi gambar pada komik tersebut.

This study aims to examine the strategic role of needs assessment in the educational planning process, particularly within the context of the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) policy. In an education system that is continuously undergoing transformation, needs assessment serves as a crucial foundation for designing planning that is relevant, adaptive, and based on the actual conditions of students and educational institutions. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of various relevant scientific sources. The findings show that needs assessment is capable of identifying gaps between the ideal and actual conditions in various aspects of education, such as student competencies, teacher readiness, and the availability of learning infrastructure. The Merdeka Belajar policy provides schools and teachers with greater autonomy in designing contextual curricula and learning processes. However, without proper needs assessment, educational planning risks being misaligned with on-the-ground realities. The study also reveals that the implementation of needs assessment in schools still faces several challenges, including limited teacher competence, time constraints, and weak institutional support. Therefore, strengthening strategies are needed, such as teacher training, the development of practical assessment instruments, and the integration of assessment results into school planning documents. Thus, needs assessment not only functions as a tool for identifying problems but also as a foundation for effective decision-making in educational planning that prioritizes quality and equitable learning. This research is expected to contribute to the development of educational policy and practice that is more responsive to actual needs in the era of Merdeka Belajar.
