Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi diperoleh kemampuan bertanya dan hasil belajar IPA siswa di SDN Gebang 03 masih rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk menatasi permalsahan tersebut dibutuhkan media pembelajaran multimedia yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa era digital. Peneliti dalam hal ini mengembangkan e-worksheet berbasis pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-worksheet berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan pendekatan saitifik dalam pembelajaran IPA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D menggunakan model ADDIE dengan subjek penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VI di SDN Gebang 03 Kecamatan Patrang Kabupaten Jember. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kevalidan silabus, RPP, e-worksheet, bahan ajar, tes hasil belajar diperoleh kategori nilai modus 4 yang berkategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan e-worksheetberbasis pendekatan saintifik berdasarkan hasil penilaian tiga observer pada dua kelas menyatakan bahwa e-worksheetyang dikembangkan sangat praktis dengan berada pada 98,82%. Keefektifan E-LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik berdasarkan hasil N-Gain yang diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test diperoleh kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik dinyatakan efektif digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa.Abstract:  This study was conducted based on the results of observations obtained that the ability to ask questions and science learning outcomes of students at SDN Gebang 03 were still low. One effort to overcome this problem requires multimedia learning media that is in accordance with the needs of students in the digital era. Researchers in this case developed e-worksheets based on a scientific approach in science learning. The purpose of this study was to develop e-worksheets based on a scientific approach with a scientific approach in science learning that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is R&D using the ADDIE model with the research subjects being all sixth grade students at SDN Gebang 03, Patrang District, Jember Regency. The results showed that the validity of the syllabus, lesson plans, e-worksheets, teaching materials, and learning outcome tests obtained a category of mode 4 which is categorized as very valid. The practicality of e-worksheets based on a scientific approach based on the assessment results of three observers in two classes stated that the e-worksheets developed were very practical at 98.82%. The effectiveness of E-LKPD based on a scientific approach based on the N-Gain results obtained from the pre-test and post-test obtained a high category, so it can be stated that E-LKPD based on a scientific approach is effective to use and can improve students' questioning skills and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan model project based learning (PjBL) di Sekolah Dasar menimbulkan tantangan signifikan bagi guru, terutama dalam uapaya meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki tantangan utama yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkan PjBL dan strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Kemampuan berpikir kritis penting dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan multimedia interaktif dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulakn data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak tantangan yang dihadapi seperti keterbatasan pernagkat dalam penyusunan media pembelajaran, kurangnya kreativitas dan kemampuan dalam perancangan model pembelajaran, serta kurangnya antusiasme siswa dalam berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Tantangan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan berbagai hal seperti penyediaan infrastruktur yang memadai, adanya pelatihan terbaru bagi guru, serta peran aktif guru dalam memberikan kebebasan bagi siswa untuk mengekspresikan pendapat serta hasil pembelajaran mereka serta adanya apresiasi dari guru terkait keberanian siswa dalam berpartisipasi. Diharapkan dengan berbagai solusi tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman siswa.Abstract:  The implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in elementary schools poses significant challenges for teachers, particularly in efforts to enhance students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to investigate the main challenges faced by teachers in applying PjBL and the strategies that can be employed to overcome these challenges. Critical thinking skills are essential in project-based learning, and interactive multimedia can be utilized to develop these skills. This research employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through observations, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers face numerous challenges, such as limitations in resources for developing learning media, a lack of creativity and capability in designing learning models, and insufficient student enthusiasm in participating in the learning process. These challenges can be addressed through various measures, such as providing adequate infrastructure, offering up-to-date training for teachers, and encouraging teachers to actively allow students to express their opinions and showcase their learning outcomes. Additionally, acknowledging students' courage to participate can further support their engagement. It is hoped that these solutions will enhance students' critical thinking abilities and understanding.

Abstract

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran melalui Canva yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk keterampilan membaca teks nonfiksi. Guru yang kreatif dan inovatif membutuhkan keterampilan untuk membuat dan menerapkan media untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan menggunakan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 02 Plaosan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket untuk validasi produk, angket respon siswa untuk melihat kepraktisan media, dan posttest untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil uji validasi ahli media sebesar 78% sehingga dinyatakan valid, hasil uji ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata 86% sehingga dinyatakan sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan yang dilakukan setelah uji coba kepada siswa sebesar 98% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat praktis. Tingkat keefektifan yang diperoleh sebesar 95% yang termasuk kriteria sangat efektif dengan 20 siswa yang tuntas dan 1 siswa yang tidak tuntas. Dengan demikian disimpulkan, media pembelajaran Canva untuk kemampuan membaca teks nonfiksi merupakan media yang valid, praktis, dan efektif.Abstract:This research aims to produce learning media through Canva that is valid, practical, and effective for nonfiction text reading skills. Creative and innovative teachers need skills to create and apply media to enhance learning for students. This study used Research and Development (R&D) research methodology. The development model uses ADDIE which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 20 lV grade students at SD Negeri 02 Plaosan. The instruments used questionnaires for product validation, student response questionnaires to see the practicality of the media, and posttest to see student learning outcomes. The results showed that the average result of the media expert validation test was 78% so it was declared valid, the material expert test results obtained an average of 86% so it was declared very valid. The practicality test conducted after the trial to students was 98% which was included in the very practical criteria. The effectiveness level obtained was 95% which included very effective criteria with 20 students who were complete and 1 student who was not complete. Thus it is concluded, Canva learning media for nonfiction text reading ability is a valid, practical, and effective media.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang penggunaan model writing dalam mata kuliah English for Specific Purposes (ESP) dan bagaimana pandangan mahasiswa terhadap model writing tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif kualitatif. Sebanyak 11 mahasiswa dari semester 3 jurusan administrasi perkantoran di salah satu universitas swasta di Depok, Jawa Barat, Indonesia, berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis dokumen dan wawancara langsung dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil analisis dokumen menunjukkan bahwa model penulisan yang ditawarkan dalam mata kuliah ini sebagian besar terdiri dari penyajian teks model, termasuk surat, bagian surat yang terperinci, kalimat yang relevan, istilah teknis, dan gaya surat. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan pandangan positif mahasiswa terhadap strategi ini, terutama mengenai materi yang tidak otentik, pemahaman, dan pengajaran deduktif dosen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran menulis diimplementasikan dengan menyajikan teks model dan pendekatan pengajaran deduktif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adaptasi strategi ini dalam mata kuliah menulis ESP, konsistensi dan intensitas penyajian teks model yang memadai, urgensi untuk memperbarui materi pembelajaran, dan investigasi keefektifan strategi ini dalam mata kuliah berbasis ESP di tingkat universitas.Abstract:  This study aims to shed light on utilizing modeled writing in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses and how the students view the modeled writing. The study employed a qualitative descriptive study. 11 students from the 3rd semester of the office administration department of one private university in Depok, West Java, Indonesia, participated in this study. Document analysis and in-person interviews were administered to collect data. The document analysis results signified that the modeled writing offered in the course mainly consisted of presenting modeled texts, including letters, detailed letter parts, relevant sentences, technical terms, and letter styles. The interview results indicated the students' positive stance of the strategy, mainly regarding non-authentic materials, comprehension, and the lecturer’s deductive teaching. The findings indicated that modeled writing is implemented by presenting model text and deductive teaching approaches. The study recommends the adaptation of this strategy in ESP writing courses, the consistency and intensity of presenting adequate model texts, the urgency to update the learning materials, and the investigation of the strategy’s effectiveness in ESP-based courses at the university level.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran saat ini menekankan pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Hal yang berkaitan kecakapan yang harus dilatih kepada siswa adalah berpikir kritis. Namun, keterampilan berpikir kritis masih jarang diutamakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di Indonesia. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji dampak model Problem Based Learning melalui pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Jenis penelitiannya adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan siswa di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil data uji Independent Sample T-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,020 yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi  < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak Ha. Berdasar hasil uji t-pihak kanan diperoleh nilai bahwa thitung > ttabel (2,400 >1,675) yang menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima bahwa rerata nilai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki perbedaan. Berdasar bahan keterangan yang didapat, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP.Abstract:  Current learning emphasizes higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). One of the crucial skills that need to be developed in students is critical thinking. However, critical thinking skills are still rarely prioritized in the learning activities in Indonesia. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The results of the study show that the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class are superior to those in the control class. Based on the Independent Sample T-test, the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.020, indicating a significance value < 0.05, thus rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. Based on the right-tailed t-test, the calculated t-value was greater than the t-table value (2.400 > 1.675), indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a difference in the average scores between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the obtained information, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach has a significant impact on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk menganalisis kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa sekolah dasar melalui tinjauan literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review yang menganalisis 10 artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional yang terindeks Sinta antara tahun 2019 hingga 2024. Komponen yang direview meliputi latar belakang, hasil penelitian, dan kesimpulan pada setiap artikel. Berdasarkan analisis data, kesulitan yang paling sering dialami siswa adalah kesulitan dalam mengenal huruf. Selain itu, kesulitan lainnya meliputi kesulitan merangkai huruf menjadi suku kata dan kata, kesulitan membedakan huruf yang hampir identik, kelancaran membaca dan pemahaman, serta kesulitan dalam membaca kata berimbuhan dan kalimat sederhana. Solusi yang disarankan untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut antara lain dengan memberikan bimbingan profesional bagi siswa, metode pengajaran yang efektif, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik, penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, dan penguatan motivasi belajar siswa.Abstract:  This study aims to analyze early reading difficulties among elementary school students through a literature review. The method used is a systematic literature review that analyzes 10 articles published in national journals indexed by Sinta between 2019 and 2024. The components reviewed include the background, research results, and conclusions from each article. Based on the data analysis, the most common difficulty experienced by students is in letter recognition. Other challenges include difficulties in combining letters into syllables and words, distinguishing nearly identical letters, reading fluency and comprehension, as well as difficulties in reading words with affixes and simple sentences. The suggested solutions to address these difficulties include providing professional guidance for students, effective teaching methods, the use of engaging learning media, the creation of a supportive learning environment, and enhancing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Di Indonesia anak Down Syndrome saat ini diperkirakan berjumlah 300.000 orang dan sebagian di antaranya saat ini sedang menempuh pendidikan di jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Salah satu masalah akademik anak penderita Down Syndrome adalah kemampuan membaca yang rendah. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan analisis kebutuhan desain pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi bagi anak penderita Down Syndrome ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research), data dikumpulkan berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh melalui buku sumber, artikel penelitian juga informasi lainnya yang diperoleh melalui perpustakaan juga internet. Dari hasil pengumpulan informasi kepustakaan yang dilakukan, diperoleh informasi bahwa perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa anak sekolah dasar dengan Down Syndrome, yang berbeda dari anak normal. Kesadaran fonologis, pemahaman membaca, dan keterampilan naratif dan pemahaman membaca adalah keterbatasan utama yang ditemukan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan unik anak-anak dengan Down Syndrome sangat penting. Penggunaan teknologi, terutama video game seluler, telah terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan fisik, kognitif, dan memori anak-anak dengan Down Syndrome. Dengan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan, instruksi yang mudah dipahami, dan fitur yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna, pengajaran game mobile ini dapat digunakan. Abstract:  An estimated 300,000 children in Indonesia are thought to have Down Syndrome, and some of them are presently enrolled in elementary school. Low reading skills is one of the academic issues that children with Down Syndrome. For this reason, an examination of the requirements for technology-integrated learning designs for kids with Down Syndrome must be done. The data for this study was gathered using a library research methodology, drawing on information found in source books, research articles, and other online and library resources. The findings of the information gathered from libraries indicate that elementary school children with Down Syndrome do not develop their language abilities in the same way as typical children. The primary limits identified are phonological awareness, reading comprehension, narrative skills, and reading comprehension. This study demonstrates the critical importance of education that is customized to meet the special requirements of kids with Down Syndrome. It has been demonstrated that children with Down Syndrome benefit physically, cognitively, and in terms of memory when they utilize technology, particularly mobile video games. This mobile game teaching can be utilized since it has an easy-to-use interface, clear instructions, and features that can be adjusted to the needs of the user.

Abstract

Abstract:   Creative thinking skills for students are needed in facing changes and challenges in the dynamic era of globalization. This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of using PjBL based on animated videos of western Voyages routes to the nusantara in improving students' creative thinking skills in Indonesian history courses during the era of western influence. The research method used is Pre-Experimental Designs, with the form of designs used, namely One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the use of PjBL based on animated videos of western voyages routes to the nusantara is proven to be effective in improving students' creative thinking skills in Indonesian history courses during the era of western influence. This is based on the results of the paired sample t-test obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference between the value of students' creative thinking skills before and after using PjBL based on animated videos of western Voyages routes to the nusantara. Abstrak: Kemampuan berpikir kreatif bagi mahasiswa sangat dibutuhkan dalam menghadapi perubahan dan tantangan di era globalisasi yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas penggunaan PjBL berbasis video animasi rute pelayaran bangsa barat ke nusantara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada matakuliah sejarah indonesia zaman pengaruh barat. Abstract

Abstrak: Geoeducation merupakan salah satu program Geopark Ijen dalam mencapai tujuan di bidang pendidikan, dengan melakukan kunjungan ke geosite secara langsung. Pantai Grajagan merupakan salah satu geosite yang dapat menjadi sumber belajar kontekstual, karena menunjukkan singkapan batuan lava basaltik berstruktur vesikuler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi Geosite Pantai Grajagan untuk melakukan geoeducation dalam pembelajaran Geografi fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi lapangan secara langsung sebagai data primer, dan studi pustaka sebagai data sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk menjelaskan potensi Geosite Pantai Grajagan sebagai laboratorium alam untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran Geografi fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Geosite Pantai Grajagan memiliki objek yang dapat dikaji sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran pada materi litosfer. Kajian ini meliputi sejarah geologi regional, proses pembentukan batuan di Geosite Pantai Grajagan, kondisi geologi dan geomorfologi, serta karakterstik batuan, aktivitas manusia, dan kekuatan dan tantangan geoeducation dalam pembelajaran Geografi fisik. Namun, terdapat berbagai tantangan pelaksanaan geoeducation di Geosite Pantai Grajagan, yaitu aksesibilitas, keterbatasan fasilitas edukasi, serta kurangnya integrasi objek kajian dengan capaian pembelajaran pada kurikulum.Abstract:  Geoeducation is one of the Geopark Ijen programs in achieving goals in the field of education, by visiting the geosite directly. Grajagan Beach is one of the geosites that can be a contextual learning resource, because it shows outcrops of vesicular-structured basaltic lava rocks. This research aims to analyze the potential of Grajagan Beach Geosite to conduct geoeducation in physical Geography learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with direct field observation method as primary data, and literature study as secondary data. Data analysis was done descriptively to explain the potential of Grajagan Beach Geosite as a natural laboratory to facilitate physical Geography learning. The results showed that Grajagan Beach Geosite has objects that can be studied in accordance with the learning outcomes on lithosphere material. This study includes regional geological history, rock formation processes at Grajagan Beach Geosite, geological and geomorphological conditions, as well as rock characteristics, human activities, and the strengths and challenges of geoeducation in physical Geography learning. However, there are various challenges to the implementation of geoeducation at Grajagan Beach Geosite, namely accessibility, limited educational facilities, and lack of integration of study objects with learning outcomes in the curriculum.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguatan kepala sekolah merupakan program untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam manajemen sekolah.Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mendapatkan implikasi bimbingan teknis petugas supervisi moda darng dan luring terhadap peningkatan petugas supervisi penguatan kepala sekolah di Indonesia. Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimental dengan rancangan two group pretest dan posttest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi berjumlah 34 petugas, dengan jumlah sampel kelompok perlakuan I adalah 17 petugas diberikan bimbingan teknis superbisi moda daring, kelompok perlakuan II adalah 17 petugas diberikan bimbingan teknis moda luring. Metode tes digunakan untuk pengumpulan data. Hasil Penelitian bahwa data diperoleh dengan nilai Sig 0.015 < 0.05 sehingga bimbingan teknis petugas supervisi moda daring dan luring memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kapasitas petugas supervisi dalam ramgka penguatan kepala sekolah. Hasil data Petugas supervisi moda daring dan luring tidak ada perbedaan dalam meningkatkan kapasitas petugas supervisi.Abstract: Principal strengthening is a program to improve the principal's ability in school management. The general purpose of this study is to obtain the implications of technical guidance for online and offline supervisory officers on improving principal strengthening supervisory officers in Indonesia. This study is an experimental study with a two-group pretest and posttest design. This study used a population of 34 officers, with the number of samples of treatment group I being 17 officers given technical guidance for online mode supervision, treatment group II being 17 officers given technical guidance for offline mode. The test method was used for data collection. The results of the study showed that the data was obtained with a Sig value of 0.015 <0.05 so that technical guidance for online and offline supervisory officers had a significant influence on increasing the capacity of supervisory officers in the framework of strengthening principals. The results of the data for online and offline supervisory officers showed no difference in increasing the capacity of supervisory officers..
