Abstract

Learning is the main activity that occurs in the education unit; quality learning will have an impact on student learning outcomes and school output. This study aims to analyze and reveal the principal's strategy for ensuring a quality learning process. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study research design. As well as data collection techniques by observation and interviews based on observation and interview guidelines. The results that the researchers found in this study were: As for the several efforts made by the principal, namely guaranteeing teacher careers in the teacher mobilization program, supervising, and providing evaluations in the form of suggestions and input. Meanwhile, the teacher plays a role in determining learning strategies, managing classes, designing teaching modules, determining learning media that are in accordance with the characteristics of students, and establishing good relations with students and their parents. Assuring the quality of the learning process is not necessarily the responsibility of the principal, but it is part of the main task of a teacher in carrying out learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Reading room facilities in the library need attention, especially if the library does not provide ergonomic reading room facilities. Ergonomic facilities are equipment designed with attention to the comfort, safety and health of users in using the tool. This research aims to find out what kind of library reading room facilities apply ergonomic principles. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that Prama Widya Pustaka Library is very good and organized in the procurement, selection of tools, and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. A conducive reading room climate has been implemented which is supported by ergonomic tables and chairs, good air temperature and humidity, and sufficient lighting. The completeness of ergonomic facilities and infrastructure has created a good reading space and built a conducive climate in the SMA Negeri 1 Wonosari Library so as to form the ENASE concept (effective, comfortable, safe, healthy and efficient). In line with that, it is hoped that this research will contribute to the school in providing good and comfortable facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe awareness of zakat in improving community welfare (overview of motivation and distribution of zakat) in Takalar Regency. This research uses field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Data processing and analysis techniques go through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research conducted show that: (1) the people in Takalar Regency do not yet have full awareness of zakat due to their still minimal understanding of the obligation to zakat other than zakat fitrah so the government is working with Baznas to socialize to the public about the importance of delivering zakat to those classified in the muzakki category ; (2) the motivation to give zakat to the community in Takalar Regency is influenced by their level of welfare because in recent years, the level of community welfare in Takalar Regency has decreased due to the Covid-19 pandemic; (3) zakat collected in Takalar Regency is distributed in several forms, such as assistance with education costs, assistance with school uniforms, cash assistance, and assistance in the form of business capital to underprivileged but still productive people; and 4) the distribution of zakat carried out in Takalar Regency has an impact on community motivation after experiencing the benefits of the zakat funds that have been distributed. This gives rise to public trust in zakat managers, thus increasing their awareness in distributing their zakat to UPZ to be managed by Baznas and then distributed to people who are classified as mustahik.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis sejauh mana literasi keuangan (X1) dan inklusi keuangan (X2) berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan financial technology (fintech) (Y) pada dosen di Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode analisis yang peneliti gunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan financial technology (fintech) pada dosen di Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo. Adapun literasi keuangan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan financial technology (fintech) pada dosen di Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo sedangkan inklusi keuangan berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan financial technology (fintech) pada dosen di Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the perceptions of final-year students at UIN Datokarama Palu in understanding the position of theory in qualitative research. The research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach, the instrument in this research is the researcher himself, the data sources in the research are primary data originating from interviews and observations as well as secondary data originating from literature studies either sourced from journals or books related to the research objectives. submitted. The data collection technique was carried out through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. After the data was collected, the next step was data analysis to produce conclusions. As for the conclusions from the results of this research, it is known that a small number of final-year students at UIN Datokarama Palu who were FGD participants quite understand the position of theory in qualitative research and can articulate or mix theory into narrative form accompanied by examples. Meanwhile, the rest have only reached the stage of understanding and are not yet able to articulate or formulate theories into narrative form accompanied by examples. This lack of ability is closely related to the interest in reading and writing by final year students who participated in the FGD. From this information, Indonesian language course lecturers and research methodology lecturers must collaborate in taking effective steps in teaching courses that can support the completion of final assignments or theses.

Abstract

Digitalization is important for our life, and higher education is no exception. The process of submitting letters that are still manual needs to be changed to something practical and easy. That is a digital-based letter submission through a website. Therefore, our research aims to develop One Single System (OSS) based on Web Cloud Computing to improve the performance of management study program services with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. This is done to support the accreditation process that is periodically carried out by the study program. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. Our respondents are active students of the Management Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. For data analysis, we used structural equation model analysis to test the constructs we used (perceived security, perceived usefulness, perceived of use, intention to use actual usage). The results of our research show that the perceived security, effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use on intention to use in ACCESS users and intention to use on acceptance of ACCESS. The existence of the system makes it safe, faster and easier to use, so that many students intend to use and accept the existence of our system, ACCESS.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the implementation of character education values at SMA Negeri 3 Takalar. This research is qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Data sources were obtained through islamic spiritual development teachers, scout leaders, paskibraka leaders, arts and culture coaches, school principals and vice principals of curriculum, as well as students as the main subject. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observation. Data validity techniques use triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this research show that the character education values applied at SMA Negeri 3 Takalar in learning are religious values, nationalist values, independence values, mutual cooperation values and integrity values. The application of character values in islamic learning is reflected in extracurricular activities, such as islamic spiritual activities (rohis), paskibaraka, scouts, and art studios. From this activity, it can be seen that students have an increasing attitude of discipline, cooperation, perseverance, responsibility, and religious attitudes. Character formation is carried out through habituation shown by extracurricular coaches together with staff and the Head of SMA Negeri 3 Takalar. The habits in question are discipline, cooperation, perseverance, responsibility and religious values, so that students have good morals, both in the school environment, family environment and community environment.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is a weapon that destroys action and poverty, and becomes a ladder towards the dream of every student to be financially independent. This study aims to determine the Urgency of Entrepreneurship Education by Utilizing Digital Technology for UIN Alauddin Makassar Students. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education is needed in any field regardless of the field occupied or one's profession. With entrepreneurship education students are able to build an entrepreneurial spirit by creating various creative ideas and innovations, being able to utilize and follow the very rapid developments of digital technology. The conclusion of this study is Entrepreneurship Education at UIN Alauddin Makassar Higher Education as a process or activity carried out in order to internalize entrepreneurial mentality, transmit entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to students, accelerate experience and transmit the mindset and behavior of an entrepreneur to students so that they behave and become entrepreneurs. This is very important because the development of entrepreneurship has led to a creative and digital economy, so that it is able to make new businesses no longer focus on finding work and becoming workers anymore, but can create and open jobs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the improvement of student competence in the internship program, in terms of four main aspects, namely personality, professional, social, and managerial competencies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with students of the Islamic Education Management Study Program at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya who carry out internships at several partner institutions. The results showed that the internship program contributed to improving student competence. In the personality aspect, students are able to understand job descriptions, carry out tasks well, show responsibility, and discipline at work. In the professional aspect, students show the ability to complete work according to the specified time, utilize work support facilities, manage activities, and determine management studies and their classification. In terms of social competence, students are able to adapt to the workplace, interact and cooperate with coworkers, and adapt to the work given. Finally, in the managerial aspect, students are able to plan, organize, implement, and control and evaluate the assigned tasks.

Abstract

The pluralistic condition of Indonesia must be addressed wisely by all Indonesian people. Several study results show a high level of radicalism among students. Religious moderation can also be interpreted as an attitude to maintain balance and harmony amidst differences. The development of religious moderation, especially in madrasah, can be done in various ways. This research aims to examine further strategies for developing understanding of religious moderation in the madrasah curriculum. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research uses field research. Data collection techniques in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. ‎ The subjects of this research are those who are fully involved and integrated in the field, and have sufficient time to provide information. So, the subjects in this research were the Deputy Head of Curriculum, Worship Guide, and Islamic jurisprudence teacher at MTsN 2 South Lampung. The results of this research are that understanding of religious moderation can be developed through several strategies, one of which is recitation activities, express Islamic boarding schools, the love of orphanages, and internalization in the learning process.
