JE (Journal of Empowerment) was formed based on the results of Suryakancana University Leaders Meeting on January 28, 2017, and was approved on April 8, 2017 in accordance with the Rector Decree Number 11 / SK / REK / UG / IV / 2017 regarding Appointment of Journal Manager of Community Service at Suryakancana University. The name of the Journal of Community Service is JE (Journal of Empowerment). JE (Journal of Empowerment), is a mean of developing science and technology in the exact and non-exact field through the publication of writing based on the results of community service (original). JE (Journal of Empowerment), is a periodic scientific journal published by Institute of Research and Community Service of Suryakancana University (LPPM UNSUR) twice a year in June and December. JE (Journal of Empowerment), has registered number ISSN 2580-0620 (print), and ISSN 2597-9809 (online). The first edition is Volume 1, Number. 1, June 2017. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan penerapan teknologi kepada daycare dalam meningkatkan pelayanan anak kepada orang tua yang membutuhkan penitipan anak dan menjadikan contoh teknologi pada daycare lain dalam penerapan teknologi dan memperluas informasi tempat pelayanan anak kepada masyarakat/orang tua. Oleh karena itu, tim Universitas Komputer Indonesia melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan teknologi berupa aplikasi pelayanan penitipan anak berbasis web untuk memudahkan dalam mendapatkan informasi dan layanan/fasilitas penitipan anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan diskusi/dialog, mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan, kemudian membuat solusi dengan pendekatan teknologi. Metode ini dilakukan dengan alasan latar belakang pendidikan orang tua yang berbeda-beda sehingga mempengaruhi pengetahuan intervensi/teknologi. Aplikasi web ini memiliki fungsi registrasi, penggunaan fasilitas/pelayanan, penilaian anak, serta fungsi pembayaran. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini meningkatkan pelayanan daycare dengan dukungan teknologi, informasi tempat penitipan anak, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat/orang tua kepada tempat penitipan anak. AbstractThe purpose of this service activity is to apply technology to daycare in improving children's services to parents who need child care and to make an example of technology in other daycare in applying technology and expanding information on children's services to the community / parents. Therefore, the Universitas Komputer Indonesia team conducted training and technology assistance in the form of a web-based daycare service application to make it easier to get information and daycare services/facilities. The method used in this service activity uses a discussion/dialogue approach, asking several questions, then making solutions with a technological approach. This method is carried out due to the different educational backgrounds of parents which affect the knowledge of intervention/technology. This web application has a registration function, facility/service usage, child assessment, and payment functions. The results of this service activity improve daycare services with technological support, daycare information, and increase public/parental trust in daycare.

Abstract

Abstrak Posyandu balita dilaksanakan dengan sumber daya yang berasal dari, oleh dan bersama masyarakat. Peran kader menjadi salah satu ujung tombak dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan posyandu. Guna mendukung keberhasilan posyandu perlu adanya pembinaan dan peningkatan kapasitas kader. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader posyandu balita tentang posyandu untuk sumber informasi kesehatan bagi ibu dan anak. Pelatihan kader posyandu dihadiri sejumlah 70 kader posyandu Desa Sindumartani. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan di Balai Desa Sindumartani. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kader menjadi lebih baik secara bermakna setelah mengikuti pelatihan tentang posyandu sebagai informasi kesehatan bagi ibu dan anak yakni 81,42 % dalam kategori baik dan 18,58% kategori kurang. Diharapkan hasil pelatihan dapat diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan posyandu balita di Desa Sindumartani sehingga meningkatkan partisipasi kehadiran peserta dan kemanfaatan posyandu.Abstract The toddlers integrated healthcare s carried out with resources derived from, by and with the community. The role of cadres is one of the spearheads in the implementation of integrated healthcare center activities. In order to support the success of the integrated healthcare center, it is necessary to coach and increase the capacity of cadres. The service activity aims to increase the capacity of integrated healthcare center cadres for toddlers related to the role of integrated healthcare center as a source of maternal and child health information. The training of integrated healthcare center cadres was attended by a total of 70 integrated healthcare center cadres of Sindumartani Village. The training activity was carried out for 1 month at the Sindumartani Village Hall. The results of the training activities showed that the knowledge of cadres before and after the training had a significant increase, namely 81.42% in the good category and 18.58% in the poor category. It is hoped that the results of the training can be implemented in the activities of the posyandu for toddlers in Sindumartani Village so as to increase the participation of participants and the benefits of the integrated healthcare center.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem reservasi kamar berbasis web di Desa Teluk Tamiang, guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing sektor pariwisata lokal. Permasalahan yang dihadapi meliputi sistem reservasi manual yang tidak efektif dan keterbatasan akses teknologi oleh pengelola. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem berbasis model waterfall, implementasi, serta pendampingan berupa pelatihan teknis kepada 15 peserta yang terdiri atas staf desa dan pengelola penginapan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui survei kepuasan pengguna dan pengamatan langsung terhadap implementasi sistem. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis pengelola hingga 70%, serta kemudahan operasional yang berdampak pada peningkatan pemesanan kamar hingga 30%. Sistem yang diimplementasikan melalui domain resorts.teluktamiang.com telah memberikan nilai tambah ekonomis dan diharapkan mampu mendukung perkembangan pariwisata desa secara berkelanjutan. Abstract This service activity aims to develop a web-based room reservation system in Teluk Tamiang Village, in order to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the local tourism sector. The problems faced include an ineffective manual reservation system and limited access to technology by managers. The methods used included needs analysis, system design based on the waterfall model, implementation, and assistance in the form of technical training to 15 participants consisting of village staff and inn managers. Evaluation was conducted through a user satisfaction survey and direct observation of the system implementation. The results showed an increase in the manager's technical skills by 70%, as well as operational ease that resulted in an increase in room bookings by 30%. The system implemented through the domain resorts.teluktamiang.com has provided economic added value and is expected to support the development of village tourism in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Titisan, yang terletak di Kecamatan Sukalarang, Kabupaten Sukabumi, memiliki potensi agrikultur yang signifikan berkat lokasinya di dataran tinggi dengan suhu yang relatif sejuk. Namun, seperti banyak desa pegunungan, Desa Titisan menghadapi permasalahan lingkungan yang meliputi pengelolaan sampah yang kurang baik, drainase yang tersumbat, dan risiko limpasan air hujan yang dapat mengakibatkan banjir di wilayah dataran rendah. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan banjir di Desa Titisan, bertujuan untuk mengelola air hujan secara efektif agar tidak terjadi limpasan yang berlebihan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi edukasi tema lingkungan di sekolah, penanaman bibit pohon, pembuatan biopori, optimalisasi drainase, dan pembersihan Rawa Genot sebagai kolam penampung air. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan, terutama melalui pengembangan fasilitas pengelolaan air dan pembelajaran lingkungan. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi berkelanjutan bagi pengelolaan limpasan air hujan serta meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat Desa Titisan.AbstractTitisan Village, located in Sukalarang District, Sukabumi Regency, has significant agricultural potential due to its location in the highlands with relatively cool temperatures. However, like many mountain villages, Titisan Village faces environmental problems including poor waste management, clogged drainage, and the risk of rainwater runoff that can cause flooding in lowland areas. The community empowerment program in flood prevention efforts in Titisan Village aims to manage rainwater effectively to prevent excessive runoff. Activities include environmental education in schools, planting tree seedlings, making biopores, optimizing drainage, and cleaning Rawa Genot as a water reservoir. The results of these activities show the active involvement of the community in environmental conservation efforts, especially through the development of water management facilities and environmental education. This program is expected to be a sustainable solution for rainwater runoff management and increase environmental awareness in the Titisan Village community

Abstract

Abstrak Numerasi merupakan keterampilan mendasar yang krusial bagi setiap individu, namun siswa di Indonesia, termasuk Kabupaten Garut, sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami numerasi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun soal berbasis numerasi. Artikel ini menguraikan pelaksanaan workshop “Pembelajaran Numerasi di Sekolah Dasar” yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, bekerja sama dengan Institut Pendidikan Indonesia (IPI) Garut. Workshop mencakup penyampaian materi dan pendampingan penyusunan soal numerasi, melibatkan mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar IPI Garut dan guru sekolah dasar setempat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan wawasan serta keterampilan peserta dalam merancang soal numerasi sesuai dengan konten, konteks, dan proses yang relevan. AbstractNumeracy is a crucial fundamental skill for every individual, but students in Indonesia, including Garut Regency, often face difficulties in understanding numeracy. To overcome this, it is necessary to increase teacher competence in developing numeracy-based questions. This article describes the implementation of the workshop ‘Numeracy Learning in Elementary Schools’ conducted by a team of lecturers and students of Mathematics Education Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This activity was carried out through planning, implementation and evaluation, in collaboration with the Indonesian Institute of Education (IPI) Garut. The workshop included material delivery and assistance in preparing numeracy questions, involving IPI Garut Elementary School Teacher Education students and local elementary school teachers. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' insights and skills in designing numeracy questions according to relevant content, context, and process.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian masyarakat di SMP menitikberatkan pada pengalaman bermain peran yang mampu mendukung peningkatan belajar dalam bahasa indonesia dan pengembangan diri pada ekstrakurikuler sebagai keberlanjutan dari penanaman sikap kreatif siswa. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pelatihan seni peran untuk siswa, bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan artistik dan sosial. Program ini melibatkan pelatihan intensif dalam teknik seni peran dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Data hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai keterampilan seni peran siswa adalah 75.25, dengan median 77.5 dan modus pada nilai 75 dan 85. Rentang nilai dari 65 hingga 85 dan standar deviasi 16.73 menunjukkan variasi yang signifikan dalam performa siswa. Evaluasi ini memberikan wawasan tentang kemajuan dan tantangan yang dihadapi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran seni peran. Abstract Community service in junior high school focuses on role-playing experiences that can support learning improvement in Indonesian and role-playing experiences that can support learning improvement in Indonesian language and self-development in extracurricular activities as a continuation of cultivating students' creative attitudes. This service focuses on role-play training for students, aiming to improve artistic and social skills. The programme involves intensive training in role-playing techniques and ongoing evaluation. Data from the training showed that the mean score of students' acting skills was 75.25, with a median of 77.5 and modes at 75 and 85. The range of scores from 65 to 85 and standard deviation of 16.73 showed significant variation in student performance. The evaluation provided insights into the progress and challenges students faced in the process of learning acting.

Abstract

Abstrak Di era society 5.0, digitalisasi menjadi aspek vital dalam pengembangan pendidikan. Namun, ketimpangan akses teknologi di daerah pedesaan, seperti di Nepal, memperlebar kesenjangan pendidikan. Sekolah Dasar Subhakamana di Nepal menghadapi tantangan terkait keterbatasan perangkat teknologi, sumber daya pembelajaran, serta rendahnya keterampilan pendidik dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam kurikulum. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik melalui penyediaan perangkat keras digital dan modul pembelajaran interaktif. Kegiatan sosialisasi diselenggarakan dengan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) untuk memperkenalkan teknologi pendidikan yang mudah digunakan dan bermanfaat bagi proses pembelajaran. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan perlunya pelatihan berbasis teknologi dan dukungan finansial untuk implementasi teknologi. Setelah kegiatan, para pendidik melaporkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan teknologi, dan SD Subhakamana berhasil mengintegrasikan proyektor serta fasilitas internet untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model bagi sekolah-sekolah lain dalam penerapan pendidikan berbasis teknologi, yang dapat mengurangi kesenjangan pendidikan antara daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan serta mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan era digital.AbstractIn the era of society 5.0, digitalisation has become a vital aspect in the development of education. However, unequal access to technology in rural areas, such as in Nepal, widens the education gap. Subhakamana Primary School in Nepal faces challenges related to limited technology devices, learning resources, and low educator skills in integrating technology into the curriculum. To overcome these challenges, community service conducted by the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta aims to improve educators' competencies through the provision of digital hardware and interactive learning modules. Socialisation activities were organised using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach to introduce educational technology that is easy to use and beneficial to the learning process. The results of the needs analysis indicated the need for technology-based training and financial support for technology implementation. After the activity, educators reported increased confidence in using technology, and SD Subhakamana successfully integrated projectors and internet facilities to enrich students' learning experience. The programme is expected to serve as a model for other schools in the implementation of technology-based education, which can reduce the education gap between urban and rural areas and prepare students to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

Abstrak Saat ini semakin banyak terjadi bullying atau perundungan yang menimpa anak-anak yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan mencegah dan menangani bullying dengan melalui sosialisasi kepada siswa sekolah di SMP Nurul Hidayah Pasundan Kecamatan Haurwangi Cianjur. Hasil dari program “Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Bullying di Lingkungan Sekolah” mendapatkan respon positif dari para siswa sebagai peserta. Para siswa yang sebelumnya tidak tahu atau kurang memahami terkait bullying, setelah diberikan edukasi melalui sosialisasi ini menjadi lebih mengerti dan lebih peduli dengan permasalahan ini .Dengan adanya kegiatan sosialiasi ini, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman mengenai bullying menjadi sekitar 80%. Hasil ini diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test setelah kegiatan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan. Abstract Bullying is not only done directly but can also occur through social media or cyberbullying. Currently, more and more bullying is happening to children in the school environment. The community service carried out aims to prevent and handle bullying, especially cyberbullying, through socialization to school students at Nurul Hidayah Pasundan Junior High School, Haurwangi Cianjur District. The results of the "Prevention and Handling of Bullying in the School Environment" program received a positive response from the students as participants. The students who previously did not know or understand less about bullying, after being given education through this socialization became more understanding and more concerned with this problem. With this socialization activity, there was an increase in understanding about bullying to around 80%. These results were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test after the activity through the questionnaires distributed.

Abstract

AbstrakPemasaran merupakan proses untuk menciptakan, menyampaikan, dan mempertukarkan penawaran yang memiliki nilai bagi pelanggan, klien, mitra, dan masyarakat luas. Strategi pemasaran yang berpusat pada konsumen salah satu strategi yang digunakan oleh banyak perusahaan untuk menarik lebih banyak pelanggan. Strategi pemasaran dikatakan efektif apabila bisa meningkatkan retensi pelanggan dan menjaga hubungan baik dengan pelanggan. Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Mekarlaksana Kecamatan Cikancung Kabupaten Bandung khususnya pengusaha makanan khas tradisional, seperti: Kerupuk Asoy, Rengginang, Otak-otak, kripik singkong, keripik pisang dan sebagainya. Selama ini sistem penjualannya sebagaian besar hanya mengandalkan pada lokal saja, yaitu dujual ke konsumen secara langsung, atau konsumen yang datang ke tempat produksi, sedangkan untuk penjualan ke luar kota masih relatif sedikit. Agar penjulan makanan khas tradisional yang dilakukan oleh UMKM tumbuh dan berkembang, penjualan bukan hanya pada lokal saja akan tetapi bisa sampai tingkat global, yaitu dengan menjalankan strategi strategi pemasaran yang berbasis teknologi internet. Strategi pemasaran yang harus diterapkan oleh UMKM adalah sebagai tujuan, saran, kebijaksanaan dan aturan yang memberikan arah pada usaha pemasaran serta tanggapan UMKM dalam menghadapi lingkungan dan persaingan yang selalu berubah-ubah. Dalam menerapkan strategi pemasaran, UMKM harus melihat kondisi pasar terlebih dahulu dan melihat posisi dipasarnya, agar bisa dilakukan dengan baik dan tepat sasaran. Abstract Marketing is the process of creating, delivering, and exchanging offers that have value for customers, clients, partners, and the wider community. A consumer-centric marketing strategy is one of the strategies used by many companies to attract more customers. Marketing strategies are said to be effective if they can increase customer retention and maintain good relationships with customers. Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Mekarlaksana Village, Cikancung District, Bandung Regency, especially traditional food entrepreneurs, such as Asoy Crackers, Rengginang, Otak-otak, cassava chips, banana chips, and so on. So far, the sales system has mostly relied only on local, namely selling to consumers directly, or consumers who come to the production site, while sales outside the city are still a little realistic. In order for the sale of traditional specialty foods carried out by MSMEs to grow and develop, sales are not only local but can reach the global level, namely by running a marketing strategy based on internet technology. The marketing strategy that must be implemented by MSMEs is a goal, suggestion, wisdom, and rules that provide direction to marketing efforts and MSMEs' responses in facing the ever-changing environment and competition. In implementing a marketing strategy, MSMEs must first look at market conditions and see their position in the market so that they can be done properly and on target.

Abstract Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan guru Kelompok bermain (KB) yang tidak mengetahui cara deteksi dini anak dengan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan menggunakan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra melalui solusi pelatihan Stimulasi, Deteksi dan Intervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang (SDIDTK) dengan pendekatan Islami dan berbasis aplikasi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan SDIDTK, penerapan teknologi aplikasi telenursing SDIDTK, pendampingan dan evaluasi SDIDTK serta keberlanjutan program. Hasil pelatihan didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan (rata-rata sebelum pelatihan 84,36 dan rata-rata setelah pelatihan 88,36) dan ketrampilan (rata-rata sebelum pelatihan 50 dan rata-rata setelah pelatihan 89,83) guru dalam melakukan SDIDTK. AbstractThis activity was carried out as a solution to the problem of playgroup teachers who do not know how to early detect children with growth and development disorders using valid and reliable instruments. The purpose of this activity is to solve partner problems through training solutions for Stimulation, Detection and Early Intervention of Growth and Development (SDIDTK) with an Islamic and application-based approach. The implementation method includes socialization, SDIDTK training, application of SDIDTK telenursing application technology, SDIDTK mentoring and evaluation and program sustainability. The training results obtained an increase in knowledge (average before training 84.36 and average after training 88.36) and skills (average before training 50 and average after training 89.83) of teachers in conducting SDIDTK.
