Abstract

The Indonesian people really need insight into disaster mitigation, especially strengthening disaster mitigation which is one form of implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goal 13. Disaster mitigation can basically be implanted through education. Disaster mitigation education from an early age, especially in elementary schools, is needed to form a generation of young Indonesians who are resilient to disasters. So that interactive learning media is needed, one of which is a game of snake and ladder modified with disaster mitigation material. This innovation is called PERUT SINCAN (Disaster Mitigation Snake Game) which has 25 posts containing challenges with disaster materials. The formulation of the problem is the concept of implementation, implementation, and implications of the SINCAN STATE. The research method used is descriptive method using qualitative data. Data collection techniques using data analysis techniques from related literature. With this interactive learning media, it is hoped that it can add insight and raise awareness of the importance of disaster mitigation in children.

Abstract

Cultural relics in the Hindu-Buddhist era in the form of temples are part of local history that can provide positive values for students. The temple, which contains artifacts in the form of souvenirs, provides interesting local history material when it is explained with great inspiration by an innovative and creative teacher. This research was studied using a qualitative approach. The data collection process was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and document study. This research is aimed at seeing the importance of the legacy of a civilization, namely the temple, to be put forward in local history learning materials. This is a means for the formation of national identity through historical awareness and cultural awareness, as well as a teacher or teacher approach to introducing students to local wisdoms that exist around them. Learning like this will make students understand the history of themselves or their environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to enhance the student's scientific attitude using inquiry learning method in the science classroom. This study used classroom action research method done in three cycles. Every cycle provide planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The method of collecting data used observation, interview and documentation. Technique triangulation, source triangulation and informant review used to check the data validity. Data analysis technique used in this study was interactive model. The conclusion of this research showed the use of inquiry learning succesfully enhance student's scientific attitude for science classroom in 5th grade of SD Negeri Prawit 1 No. 69 Surakarta year of academic 2017/2018.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes of Fifth Grade students of Elementary School in the learning Fourth Theme through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This was a classroom action research. The study involves Fifth Grade students of the elementary school as the research subject. The data were collected through observation with test and nontest. This research is using two cycles. The results of the study show that: (a) the application of the PBL model is capable of improving the student’s outcome (b) In the first cycle, there was five students who passed the grade, that the average value is 62,5 %. (c) In the second cycle, there was an improvement for the learning outcomes, that the average value is 75%, which six students passed the grade. (d) the students’ learning outcomes after the application of the PBL model namely the number of students who reach the KKM as much as 6 students (75%) from totally 8 students.

Abstract

The low results of learning mathematics shows not achieve the purpose of learning is optimal. It can be seen from the results of the daily test scores of grade IV SD Negeri Ronggo 03 on ordinary and mixed fraction material , it shows that 9 out of 24 students or 37% complete and 15 students or   63% are incomplete with KKM 70 The aim of research to describe enhancer of an outcome study of mathematics material fractions plain and mix in with the model pembelajarann Realistic Mathemathic Education (RME) with media objects nyata.Penelitian have implemented two cycles with the phases of planning , implementation , observation and reflection . From the results action shows an increase in mathematics learning outcomes of ordinary fractions and mixed materials through the RME learning model with real object media , it can be seen from the results of student learning evaluation in pre- cycle reaching 37%, increasing in cycle I 75%, cycle II 100% so that there is an increase from pre- cycle. cycle until cycle II amounted to 63%. The RME learning model with real object media can help students improve learning outcomes and improve the quality of learning on ordinary and mixed fraction material.

Abstract

Parents are the child's first mentors in the learning process at home. Some parents feel unable to guide children at home. Parenting Education Program (PEP) has the opportunity as a solution to help parents guide their children at home. This study focuses on the definition, application, benefits and importance of Parenting Education  Programs. The results of this study include: (1) PEP is a training program held by schools to provide guidance in the form of knowledge and skills to parents; (2) The application of PEP has been applied in several elementary schools, namely SDIT Ar Raihan Bantul, SD Surya Buana Malang and SD Insan Teratai Tangerang; (3) The benefits of PEP are establishing a good relationship between school and parents, increasing parental knowledge and increasing parental confidence; (4) PES is important to be implemented in many elementary schools that do not directly involve parents in children's education

Abstract

On the one hand, the coastal area promises abundant natural resources, but on the other hand, there are potential threats of disaster for the people living in that area. Coastal erosion or abrasion is a threat/danger that harmful to communities in coastal areas in Indonesia. One of the areas affected by abrasion in Indonesia is Rembang Regency. This study attempted to analyze the physical and social impacts of abrasion in the Rembang Regency. This study was conducted qualitatively by utilizing Ikonos High-Resolution Satellite Imagery, field surveys, and interviews as the basis for the analysis of the impact of the abrasion disaster. Respondents in this study were communities and government officials in areas affected by abrasion which were determined by purposive sampling technique. The results of the data analysis show that the physical impacts of abrasion are classified into four categories, namely heavy damage, moderate damage, minor damage, and no damage, while the social impacts are in the form of psychological, sociological, and economic disturbances which have implications for decreasing welfare. Therefore, an in-depth analysis is needed to determine the abrasion disaster management policy in Rembang Regency.

Abstract

This article is motivated by the phenomenon of contemporary students in the era of globalization who are starting to leave the Indonesian character. Higher education institutions that print the nation's future assets are required to move with character education. Character education teaches how to think and behave so that they become useful individuals in society and contribute as good citizens. Character education has religious values, nationalism, integrity, independence and mutual cooperation. Character education must continue to be strong in a sustainable, sustainable and balanced manner in order to produce students with character, independence and integrity.

Abstract

TThis study aimed to improve the students' listening of tales ability using story telling and puppet. The form of this research is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research subject was 35 students of 2nd grade in SD Negeri Suren Purworejo 2017/2018 academic year. The technique of collecting data in this research was used interview, test, observation and documentation. For data validity used triangulation technique and triangulation source. The data analysis in this research used interactive analysis model consisted of collecting data, data reduction, data interpretation, and conclusion. The result of this research shows that the use of Storytelling and Puppet improved the students' listening of tales ability. The average score of listening of tales ability in pre-research was 58,14 with the amount of classical mastery 20%. The average score of listening of tales improved in cycle I to 70 with the amount of classical mastery to 51,43%. The average scrore of listening of tales improved in cycle II to 82 with the amount of classical mastery to 91,43%. Based on the result of the research above, the conclusion is the use of storytelling and puppet can improve the students' listening of tales ability in 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Suren Purworejo 2017/2018 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning achievement of IPA through ctl models. The subject of the study was grade V students of Mecca Elementary School IT Permata Hati a total of 30 students. This form of research is Class Action Research (PTK). This research process is carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are used through observation and tests. Data analysis techniques using quantitative data. The results showed an improvement. Ipa learning achievement of grade V students mecca before there are 11 students (37%) scores below KKM and only 19 students (63%) value above the KKM. In Cycle I, 21 students completed their studies (70%) and 9 uncompleted students (30 %), in cycle II as many as 22 students completed (73 %) and 8 uncompleted students (27%). This proves that using CTL strategies can improve students IPA learning achievement.
