Abstract

Untuk mengoptimalkan minat dan hasil belajar, peserta didik perlu distimulus agar aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, salah satu yang dapat diterapkan adalah model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi sains di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) memerlukan  lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) disertai media sebagai penuntun belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD dengan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan PhET pada materi rangkaian listrik seri dan paralel. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan kerangka ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analize, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate. LKPD telah di-review oleh ahli pembelajaran fisika dan dinyatakan layak digunakan. Uji coba lapangan pada satu kelas menunjukkan bahwa implementasi LKPD meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan normalized gain,  atau terdapat peningkatan dengan kategori sedang. Respon peserta didik terhadap implementasi LKPD dengan model inkuiri terbimbing juga positif. Dengan demikian, LKPD  model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan PhET memiliki potensi digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran sains di SMP.

Abstract

Teacher performance reflects their work, encompassing their knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities. This performance is evident in their appearance, actions, and achievements. This study investigates the impact of teacher competence, professional allowances, and skills training on teacher performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The research employs a quantitative methodology. The study's subjects comprised all 57 teachers at H. Moenadi Ungaran State Vocational High School, utilizing a saturated sampling method due to the small population size. Data was collected using a questionnaire that had undergone validity and reliability testing. The findings indicate that teacher competence, professional allowances, and skills training collectively influence teacher performance through work motivation as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Sebagai seorang guru profesional, sangatlah penting untuk terus mengembangkan keterampilan yang dimiliki. Guru perlu mampu berinovasi dalam pembelajaran agar tetap sejalan dengan kemajuan dunia pendidikan, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak positif penggunaan aplikasi Canva dalam pembuatan bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi (mixed method), yang menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif guna memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas, efisiensi, dan estetika bahan ajar, serta membantu mahasiswa PPG merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Sebanyak 92% responden menyatakan setuju atau sangat setuju dengan manfaat Canva dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi Canva berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan desain dan kemampuan teknologi mahasiswa PPG, yang esensial dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the SQ3R technique in improving the reading ability of tenth-grade students at MA Thohir Yasin, with a focus on measuring reading skills before and after the implementation of the technique. A pre-experimental design using one group pre-test and post-tests was used in this study. The sample of this study was the X2 class which consisted of 20 students. The Data were collected from students’ pre-tests and post-tests using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using SPSS version 22 for Windows. After submitting the data to a paired sample t-test, it was found that there was a significant difference in the mean score between the pre-test and the post-test, t(df=19) = -11,258 at p=0.000 which meant that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. Thus, technique SQ3R significantly improved the reading ability of tenth-grade students of MA Thohir Yasin. Based on the research findings, the SQ3R technique has been shown to considerably increase students' reading skills, therefore English teachers should incorporate this technique into their reading education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi IPA melalui model Problem Based learning pada siswa kelas VI SD IT Anak Sholeh Sedayu tahun pelajaran 2023 sebnayak 32 siswa sebagai subyek penerima tindakan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning. Penelitian Tindakan dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus untuk setiap siklusnya terdiri dsari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, implementasi, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kompetensi belajar siswa kelas VI SS IT Anak Sholeh Sedayu tahun pembelajaran 2023/2024. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data sebanyak 93% telah tuntas dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan mengalami peningkatan kompetensi. Sekitar > 70% telah menunjukan sikap perbaikan berdasarkan proses uji ketrampilan yang dilakukan selama proses pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dan mengetahui kompetensi guru dalam menguasai kelas untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan tidak membosankan.

Abstract

This research aims to find out motivational factors contributing the students’ participation in the English learning programs at MTs Putri Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School Narmada. This is a case study research using descriptive qualitative design. The participants of this research were 10 students at Cambridge class of MTs Putri Nurul Haramain Narmada. The instruments were observation, and interview. The data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that there are five factors motivated the students in learning English at Learning English Programs which are teachers, activities and material, relevance, feedback, and classroom environment. In addition, the contribution of programs to the students’ motivation are have different perception on the students, Madani Super Camp is has a good contribution on the students’ perception, English Day is has good contribution on the students’ motivation and learning English in the classroom is not good has contribution on the students’ motivation in learning English at English Learning Programs.

Abstract

MGMP dengan Kompetensi Profesional mempunyai hubungan keterkaitan dimana MGMP berfungsi sebagai alat penting dalam menghubungkan guru dengan sumber daya dan dukungan yang diperlukan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi profesional dalam mata pelajaran tertentu. Akan tetapi hal itu tidak sesuai dengan fakta dilapangan dimana MGMP mengalami permasalahan dan ketidakaktifan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui Faktor-Faktor dan Dampak yang menyebabkan Ketidakaktifan MGMP Sosiologi di kabupaten Pasaman Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif. Penarikan informan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu, pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketidakaktifan MGMP memberikan dampak terhadap pegembangan kompetensi professional guru, termasuk keterbatasan akses informasi guru dan Terbatasnya kolaborasi antar guru untuk mengembangkan kurikulum yang inovatif. Faktor-faktor penyebab ketidakaktifan MGMP seperti kurangnya daya tarik dalam kegiatan, kesulitan Pemimpin dalam menghadapi tantangan, jarak lokasi tempat MGMP Serta Rendahnya motivasi anggota Sebagai penyebab ketidakaktifan MGMP Sosiologi kabupaten Pasaman Barat.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out wheter there was any correlation between students’ self-confidence and their motivation to speak English. This research methode was quantitative with the correlational research design. The research took 20 students of the eleventh-grade students at MA Banat Thohir Yasin as the sample. The instruments used to collect the data were questionnaire and speaking test. The questionnaire to assess students’ self-confidence and motivation, while speaking test to assess students in speaking English. To analyze the data, the researcher used correlations Pearson Product Moment to find out the correlation between students’ self-confidence and their motivation to speak English. The research used SPSS 25 programs as the statistical program to analyze the data. The data found that (1) there was correlation between students’ self-confidence and speaking with the signifcant value was 0.001 < 0.005 and the correlation coefficient r = 0.666. (2) there was correlation between students’ motivation and speaking with the significant value was 0.000 < 0.005 and the correlation coefficient r = 0.904. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between self-confidence and their motivation to speak English.

Abstract

Penentuan populasi dan sampel merupakan elemen kunci dalam metodologi penelitian yang mempengaruhi keandalan dan validitas hasil, baik dalam konteks kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas perbedaan prinsip dan teknik penentuan ukuran sampel dalam kedua pendekatan metodologi tersebut serta mengidentifikasi teknik sampling yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka untuk mengevaluasi teori dan praktik terkait dengan teknik sampling dan rumus penentuan ukuran sampel, termasuk teknik probabilitas dan non-probabilitas serta rumus-rumus yang sering digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian kuantitatif memerlukan ukuran sampel numerik untuk menghindari kesalahan penelitian tipe I dan II, sementara penelitian kualitatif mengandalkan prinsip saturasi data. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya memilih teknik sampling dan ukuran sampel yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian serta memberikan panduan praktis untuk meningkatkan keakuratan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang teknik sampling untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan validitas penelitian.

Abstract

Misconceptions are a common problem that still often occurs in students both at elementary school, high school, and even in college students. Especially science learning with many abstract concepts has a large chance of misconception. Therefore, it is necessary to detect student misconceptions early on. There are several ways to detect misconceptions, one of which is a multilevel diagnostic test that has developed into two tiers, three tiers, and four tiers. This diagnostic test can detect student misconceptions so that later teachers can set the right learning strategy to correct misconceptions and slowly improve student learning outcomes. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The location of the research is SMP NWDI Pancor with a sample of 27 students. The data analysis technique uses the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) analysis. The results of the analysis show that the number of students who experience misconceptions in science lessons is more than 70% of the total students. Misconceptions occur most in the material of Work and Energy.
