Abstract

In this era of the 4.0 revolution, technology is rapidly advancing, making it essential for teachers to create learning media that engage students and make learning enjoyable, such as the interactive game-based platform Wordwall, to enhance student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of "Seeing Because of Light, Hearing Because of Sound" using the Wordwall interactive game media. The research employed is Classroom Action Research, utilizing two cycles: Cycle I and Cycle II, involving 20 students at SD Inpres Sero as the subjects. The data needed were obtained through observation and tests. The results of this study show that using the Wordwall interactive game media can indeed improve learning outcomes in IPAS. This is evidenced by the students' increasing performance in the IPAS subject in each cycle. This research can assist teachers in improving the quality of education in schools and enhance their competencies in creating learning media. Additionally, teachers can apply the Wordwall interactive game media as an innovative tool in the learning process. The results indicate that in the first cycle, 66% of students achieved mastery, and this percentage increased to 98% in the second cycle. This demonstrates that the implementation of the Wordwall interactive game can significantly enhance the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Penelitian semacam ini disebut penelitian tindakan kelas atau (class action research), dan dibagi menjadi dua siklus, dengan dua kali pertemuan untuk setiap siklus. Langkah-langkah yang terlibat dalam proses penelitian adalah persiapan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap perencanaan berfungsi sebagai sarana mempersiapkan siswa untuk tindakan pembelajaran guna meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi mereka dengan menggunakan media cerita komik anak-anak. Tahap pelaksanaan melibatkan dua siklus: yang pertama terjadi ketika guru (guru kelas) melaksanakan pembelajarannya dengan menggunakan RPP yang telah kita siapkan bersama. Siklus kedua melibatkan tahap observasi, yang bertujuan untuk memastikan bagaimana tindakan yang diambil akan memengaruhi proses pembelajaran dan bagaimana mereka akan memperbaikinya, dan tahap terakhir melibatkan refleksi. Hal ini dilakukan untuk berefleksi. Berdasarkan hasil tes siklus I yang menilai kemampuan siswa dalam menulis narasi menggunakan media cerita komik anak, sebanyak 15 siswa (atau 54%) tuntas mengerjakan tes, sedangkan 13 siswa (atau 46%) tidak tuntas. Pada siklus II, sebanyak lima siswa (atau 17 persen) tidak tuntas, sedangkan 23 siswa (atau 83 persen) tuntas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the use of the Canva application can improve the ability of PGSD students to design effective and interesting learning media. Through a quasi-experimental approach, this study compares the work of students who use Canva with a control group. The results of the study show that students who use Canva are able to produce learning media designs that are more creative, varied, and in accordance with learning needs. This finding highlights the potential of Canva as a tool that can support the development of PGSD students' competencies in classroom management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of the relay stick model assisted by smart table media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IVB SDI Madawat students. The population in this study is 15 students in class IVB SDI Madawat. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling type saturation sampling technique which is a sampling involving all members of the population. The data collection technique uses tests and observations, with research instruments using test questions and observation sheets. The results of the study showed that there was an influence on the use of the relay stick model assisted by smart table media, this was evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test, Student & Teacher Activities, The results of the hypothesis test were known to have a calculated price of 10,312 and a table with dk = 15 and a significant level = 0.05 was 2.131. Furthermore, because of the ttable > calculation (10,312 > 2,131), it was concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, namely there was an effect of the use of the smart table media-assisted relay stick model on the learning outcomes of mathematics multiples and communion multiples in students of SDI Madawat class. Therefore, it was concluded that the use of the relay stick model assisted by smart table media can improve the learning outcomes of mathematics in students of SDI Madawat class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan media pembelajaran visual dalam mendukung proses belajar anak tunagrahita di PKBM SEHATI. Media visual, seperti gambar, poster, video, dan alat peraga, memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan keterbatasan intelektual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan guru dan pengelola PKBM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media visual efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep abstrak, meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar, dan memperkuat memori mereka. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya, keragaman kemampuan siswa, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan minimnya dukungan teknologi. Untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut, diperlukan kolaborasi lintas sektor antara lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan komunitas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran visual memiliki potensi besar dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar inklusif bagi anak tunagrahita, namun memerlukan dukungan sistemik untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a common problem faced by students, having an impact on the quality of education and learning achievement. This study aims to identify the causes of learning difficulties. The results show that STKIP-TB students in semester V like statistical material because Statistics is very important in scientific research, but they have difficulty understanding educational statistics material due to weak basic knowledge of mathematics and difficulty understanding the concept of Statistics. Based on these findings, prevention strategies are suggested through the development of academic ability, increased motivation, and improvement of the quality of the learning environment. This research is expected to contribute to the development of strategies to prevent learning difficulties and improve the quality of education among students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model on student learning outcomes in the science and science subject of plant life cycle material for students of grade III A SDK Maria Ferrari.The population in this study is grade III A SDK Maria Ferrari students with a total of 38 students, the sample in this study is all students of class III A as many as 38 students. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The research design applied is a pre-experimental form of one group pretest-postestdesign. The results of the study showed that the value of tcal001 which 0.001 was smaller than 0.005 so that it can be said that there was a significant difference between the post test and pre test scores so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected the results of attitude observation showed completeness with a result of 96% in the very good category, while the results of skill observation showed a completeness of 80% in the very good category. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam muatan pelajaran IPAS materi siklus hidup tumbuhan siswa kelas III A SDK Maria Ferrari.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III A SDK Maria Ferrari dengan jumlah siswa 38 orang, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas III A sebanyak 38 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang diterapkan adalah pre-ekperimental bentuk one grup pretest-postestdesign. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Nilai thitung0,001 yang mana 0,001 ini lebih kecil dari 0,005 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai posttest dan pretest sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil observasi sikap menunjukan ketuntasan dengan hasil 96% dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil observasi keterampilan menunjukkan ketuntasan sebesar 80% dalam kategori sangat baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IIIA SDK Maria Ferrari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VI SD Negeri Sungguminasa II. Deskripsi fokus pada penelitian ini berupa proses dan hasil belajar. Pelaksanaan tindakan dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Pada setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Untuk mengetahui tingkat persentase keberhasilan siswa, penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar di setiap siklusnya. Adapun subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu guru (peneliti) dan siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Sungguminasa II yang berjumlah 21 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus I hasil observasi aktivitas guru dengan kategori baik, dan observasi aktivitas siswa dengan kategori cukup. Pada siklus II menunjukan peningkatan hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa menjadi dengan kategori baik (B). Hasil penelitian terkait dengan hasil belajar, pada siklus I Jumlah siswa yang tuntas yaitu 13 dari 21 siswa dengan rata-rata 75. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 17 dari 21 siswa yang tuntas dengan rata-rata 80. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Sungguminasa II.

Abstract

Education is the key to forming quality human resources, with education it will shape the nation's character and dignity which will make the nation's life more intelligent. In education, teachers have a very significant role in forming quality human resources, organizing learning that will be applied in learning, especially the Problem Based Learning learning model, this learning model is learning by solving problems in a structured manner, this research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model in learning for class IX students at Unismuh Makassar Middle School. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles which included planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The results of this research showed an increase in student learning outcomes after implementing the Problem Based Learning model. In the first cycle, the students' average score was 71.00. In the second cycle the students' average score increased to 85.92. This increase shows the effect of implementing the problem based learning model which can encourage students' ability to think critically, and students will be more active in learning which will improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Reading skills are essential for high school students, particularly in grasping information efficiently. However, there remains a gap between theory and practice regarding students’ effective reading methods. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the skimming technique in improving reading fluency, speed, and main idea identification skills among grade 11 students at SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design, this research involved three randomly selected classes. Data collection utilized reading tests focusing on three key aspects: fluency, main idea identification, and reading speed. Results showed significant improvements across these areas following the application of skimming techniques, as evidenced by higher average post-test scores. This suggests that skimming effectively enhances students’ reading performance by enabling quicker comprehension and main idea recognition. In conclusion, the skimming technique proves beneficial for developing essential reading skills, supporting both academic progress and efficient information processing for students in high school.
