Abstract

This service aims to implement a Management Information System (SIM) to improve the efficiency of village administration management, accelerate public services, and increase transparency in Sei Mencirim Village. This program also aims to improve the digital literacy of village officials to be able to utilize technology in managing village administration. This activity is carried out through socialization, technical training, and mentoring of village officials in using SIM. Socialization aims to provide a basic understanding of SIM, while technical training includes simulations of using SIM software and managing village administration data. The final stage is mentoring to ensure the SIM can operate optimally. The implementation of the SIM has improved the efficiency of village administration management, accelerated public services, and increased transparency of village budgets. The community felt the direct benefits in the form of faster document processing time, as well as increased transparency in budget use. Village officials can access and manage data in real-time, accelerating the decision-making process. The main challenges in implementing the SIM include limited technological infrastructure and low digital literacy of village officials. However, the training provided has improved the ability of village officials to manage administration better. The program is also credited with reducing administrative errors that are common in manual systems. However, strengthening the infrastructure and increasing the capacity of village officials are needed to optimize the operation of the SIM. The implementation of SIM in Sei Mencirim Village has brought positive impacts in the form of increased administrative efficiency and public services. Although there are still challenges such as limited infrastructure and digital literacy, this program can be used as a model for implementing technology in other villages. With the support of the local government, this program is expected to improve community welfare and encourage transparency in village management.

Abstract

PKM with the title Application of Digital Marketing Communication in Improving Products and Social Community of Poktan Dosroha, delivered to farmers with low educational background, based on the number of those who did not attend school up to junior high school. Empowerment gived to them so that farmers understand digital marketing communication to introduce farmer groups and their products. Training is given to farmers aged 45 years and under on social community and utilization of social media. Second, Marketing Communication Training and the use of digital technology and website management for farmers aged 17-45 years so that they are able to utilize digital technology in terms of marketing agricultural production and utilizing land as little as possible for maximum production. Training on editing images, posters, videos through Adobe, Canva, Capcut applications for social media, as well as how to create advertisements and video advertisements. Application of Technology is creating social media accounts on TikTok and FB; creating videos with Adobe, Canva, Illustrator and Capcut applications; creating photos and advertisements for agricultural production so that they can be marketed. Some farmers have started making them on their personal TikTok, while farmer group videos are made on the TikTok of Poktan Dosroha. The service was welcomed by the village head and the head of the Dosroha farmer group and was also published on the Dosroha farmer group website which has been published. Abstract

Internship is a media specifically provided by the Music of Arts Department University of HKBP Nommensen to facilitate students to have the opportunity to study outside the campus for one semester. One form of internship offered is student participation in music ministry in the church. There are two main aspects that students prepare before the internship is carried out, namely; musical and non-musical aspects. The final result of the internship is connection, collaboration, cooperation, and scientific implications. The implementation of the internship received a positive response from church leaders, congregations, music teams, multimedia teams, and sunday school teachers.

Abstract

The background raised in this service activity is to provide an understanding of the right recruitment and selection process or stages for Early Coffee and the use of social media to advertise job vacancies in accordance with the required positions. The purpose of this service activity is so that Early Coffee can find out how to recruit employees who are in accordance with the required positions so that the process of selecting new employees will be appropriate and can improve employee work performance because they work according to their fields. The method used in this activity is an introduction to the recruitment and selection process with several stages, making prospective employee forms and explaining the job description of each employee. The results obtained in this activity are that Early Coffee is very careful and strategic in selecting suitable employees and social media is a means for Early Coffee to open job advertisements to the wider community while marketing its culinary beverage business.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan belajar dan mengajar merupakan serangkaian hubungan yang mempunyai timbal balik antara dewan guru dan siswa atau peserta didik pada situasi pembelajaran demi mencapai tujuan dari pendidikan. Karena syarat utama dari berlangsunganya proses pembelajaran adalah hubungan timbal balik tersebut. Tujuan dari adanya proses pembelajaran yaitu merubah tingkah laku peserta didik menjadi lebih baik yang terdiri dari perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku. Capaian dari program pembelajaran bisa dilihat dari hasil belajar, sikap, serta perilaku dari peserta didik pada kehidupan sehari hari. Terdapat beberapa kendala yang sering dijumpai pada proses pembelajaran, salah satu nya adalah kesulitan yang dialamai oleh siswa terkait jenis mata pelajaran tertentu. Mata pelajaran MYOB (Mind Your Own Bussines) di anggap sulit oleh peserta didik sehingga menjadi hal yang menakutkan untuk dipelajari. Proses pembelajaran adalah rangkaian hubungan timbal balik yang berlangsung antara guru dan peserta didik dalam situasi edukatif untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Hubungan timbal balik tersebut merupakan syarat utama berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran. Salah satu tujuan dari proses pembelajaran adalah perubahan tingkah laku, yang meliputi perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, maupun perilaku. Pencapaian tujuan dari proses pembelajaran ini dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh serta sikap dan perilaku peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, berbagai kendala masih banyak dijumpai dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. MYOB (Mind Your Own Bussiness) di SMK Kelas XI program studi Akuntansi dan Keuangan Lembaga dianggap sulit oleh sebagian peserta didik dan menjadi menakutkan untuk dipelajari. Hal seperti itulah yang menjadi hambatan pada proses pembelajaran. MYOB (Mind Your Own Bussiness) merupakan program aplikasi komputer akuntansi yang digunakan untuk mengerjakan siklus akuntansi untuk menghasilkan laporan keuangan. Kendala dari peserta didik dalam mengaplikasikan MYOB input transaski, pencatatan saldo awal sdan jurnal penyesuaian. Dengan demikian, maka disusunlah video pembelajaran berbasis animasi untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran siswa agar lebih termotivasi untuk mempelajari MYOB.

Abstract

Village Guidance Non-Commissioned Officers (Babinsa) serve as the spearhead of the Indonesian Army (TNI AD) in fostering good relations between the TNI and the local community. The Babinsa's primary duty is to help maintain security and order within the community, as well as to develop village potential through development programs organized by the government and the TNI. Based on this duty, the Babinsa's rapid response in completing its main task is to conduct early detection by responding quickly and responsively to any problems that arise. This requires the Babinsa to be able to utilize internet-based science and technology for various purposes in the village, such as increasing communication and information efficiency, and supporting village development. For example, the use of instant messaging applications for coordination with residents, village websites for information transparency, and digital applications for village administration management. In addition, Babinsa can also use the internet to provide education and training to the community, as well as monitor potential threats in their assigned areas. The use of internet-based technology (IoT) namely Instant Messaging Applications (WhatsApp), Village Websites (SISKEUDES, Panic Button Applications), Social Media, CCTV can be used by Babinsa to support their monitoring and evaluation duties in their assigned villages.

Abstract

The beekeeping of Trigona laeviceps honey bees has high economic and ecological potential; however, in the Raya Honey Sibetan Deaf-Hearing Community, traditional methods are still practiced, resulting in low productivity and product quality. This community service activity aimed to enhance technical skills, STEM knowledge, and honey production capacity through the application of STEM-based beekeeping box installation technology and honey harvesting tools designed to be inclusive. The target partner group consisted of 11 members. The implementation methods included (1) program socialization and needs assessment; (2) training on STEM concepts in beekeeping and the use of technology; (3) mentoring and productivity evaluation; and (4) sustainability planning through cadre development and strengthening marketing networks. The results showed an increase in the average understanding of the program’s objectives from 46.3% to 81.8%, STEM knowledge scores from 41.5% to 87.2%, and beehive box assembly skills from 18.2% to 100%. Average honey productivity reached 198.4 ml per box, with a bee population growth rate of +24.6% and a 90.9% success rate in using the technology. The integration of a STEM approach based on visual communication and hands-on practice effectively improved the technical skills, productivity, and economic independence of the Deaf-Hearing community. This service model has the potential to be replicated in other special-needs communities with technological adaptations to suit the local context.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to optimize inclusive services at SMAN 2 Mengwi through the development and implementation of a student profiling application. This application is designed to assist teachers and educators in accurately identifying the special needs of students in a comprehensive manner, enabling the provision of appropriate educational interventions according to each student's profile. The methods used include the development of a web-based application for student profiling, training teachers on how to use the application, and providing support during daily implementation. The first stage involves collecting data on students' special needs and assessing their conditions. This data is then integrated into the application, creating a comprehensive profile for each student, covering academic, social, emotional, and special needs aspects. Once the application is ready, intensive training is provided to teachers and relevant staff on how to use and leverage the application in the learning process. Support is provided to ensure smooth implementation and offer technical assistance if needed. The results of this activity show that the use of the student profiling application improves teacher efficiency in managing inclusive classrooms. Teachers can quickly access essential information about students' special needs and design more adaptive teaching strategies. Moreover, the application enhances parental involvement in supporting their children's learning process. Overall, this activity has successfully improved the quality of inclusive services at SMAN 2 Mengwi and is expected to provide a sustainable solution for managing inclusive education in schools.

Abstract

Community service at Klontong UMKM in Surabaya started activities with digital marketing outreach. Next, the Klontong shop will practice marketing strategies through optimizing digital marketing through the marketplace. The aim of this service focuses on assisting the digitalization of marketing based on websites and applications for Klontong UMKM in Surabaya. The expected benefits are that partners are able to adapt and master the applications implemented in service. There are several stages in the implementation method for this service, namely the preparation and socialization stage, training and implementation, and application of technology. Next, a mentoring and evaluation pattern is carried out with the desired service program. The result of dedication is to increase economic independence for Klontong UMKM with marketing techniques that are in line with technological developments. Digital marketing applications make it easier for UMKM grocery stores to reach customers more effectively and widely. The integration between the Warung Kelontong.id website and applications via e-commerce not only increases operational efficiency, but also helps UMKM in analyzing customer data. Abstract

Diarrhea is a common illness in Islamic boarding schools, often caused by poor sanitation and low awareness of healthy and cleanliving behaviors (PHBS). According to research conducted at Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School, 78% of students experience diarrhea due to inadequate sanitation. A socialization and social action program was implemented through education, hygiene training, and improved sanitation facilities, resulting in a reduction of diarrhea cases from 30 to 10 cases per month (66.7%). Students’ understanding of PHBS increased, with 85% practicing proper handwashing after the intervention. These findings highlight the importance of socialization and sanitation facilities in preventing diarrhea in boarding school environments.
