Abstract

Abstract The implementation of a curriculum will be drawn from internal and external users, for this reason, an innovation strategy is needed to strengthen the MBKM curriculum so that it is implemented with principles according to the needs of graduates and the world of work. Needs analysis was carried out through FGD and the results of the socialization of the OBE-oriented MBKM curriculum. The method used in this study is service learning, which is a combination of academic material with community service. The results of this study are: 1) The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity succeeded in exploring the needs and readiness of lecturers, students, alumni and stakeholders for the OBE-oriented MBKM curriculum. 2) Phase 1 & 2 socialization activities received a good response from the socialization participants, the OBE-oriented MBKM curriculum has been described from the distribution of courses that are in accordance with the needs of the world of work and the implementation of MBKM implementation of the Sharia Accounting study program has been carried out, but it still needs to be strengthened by coming up with a strategy in the form of innovations to strengthen the MBKM curriculum that is more adaptable and collaborative with the industrial world. From the results of this research, it is hoped that the curriculum of the study program will be realized according to the needs of graduates and internal and external users.

Abstract

This review summarizes the literature discussing emotional management among children, particularly students in the Quranic Learning Center (Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, using the emoji card method. The ability to recognize, understand, and manage one's emotions and those of others greatly aids in building relationships and addressing life's challenges. Moreover, awareness of biases and self-emotions supports daily learning processes and enhances students' academic growth. The method employed for this community service was an experimental approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The implementation stages included: (1) initial partner condition mapping, (2) introduction and administration of a pretest using a socio-emotional assessment sheet, (3) training using the "Storytelling & Role Play Card Emoji" method, (4) mentoring by volunteer teams and individual counseling sessions, and (5) posttest administration with identical measurements to the pretest. The findings demonstrated that emotional management training significantly improved students' skills in the Quranic Learning Center in Kampung Baru, Malaysia. These results are pivotal as they provide short-term solutions to common student issues and empower them to better adapt to their learning and social environments. Thus, these outcomes contribute to the development of more effective and sustainable community service programs, fostering better personality development in addressing challenges.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy and have contributed 61% to the national GDP. Advances in digital technology have led to many changes, including in the way of marketing, especially for MSMEs which should take advantage of these advances in digital technology by entering certain online marketplaces. MSME players in Rajapolah Village, Tasikmalaya Regency are ready to take advantage of this digital technology advancement by utilizing digital marketing in marketing their products. The hope of these MSME players is that digital marketing can increase business development, so that it can restore the prestige of Rajapolah Village as a handicraft center in West Java.

Abstract

Abstract Community service is a routine activity carried out by the Student Association (HIMA) of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, National Education University. The main activity of Real Action for Social Activity (REAFOTY) #8 with the theme "Developing Digital Business as a Tool to Improve the Quality of SMEs" is Social Work with the first agenda, socialization of the importance of digital assets in online marketing; and second, mentoring for MSMEs in exploring online marketing guided by the entire committee. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and broaden the insight of Gunaksa village residents about implementing online product/service marketing to realize sustainable MSMEs. Community service in Gunaksa Village has resulted in achievements, namely providing contributions in the form of knowledge transfer (knowledge sharing) regarding online marketing to Gunaksa village residents, especially MSME actors, also providing clear and explicit guidance on the steps to market products/services online to realize sustainable MSMEs.

Abstract

The learning process is a series of reciprocal relationships that take place between teachers and students in educational situations to achieve educational goals. This reciprocal relationship is the main condition for the learning process to take place. One of the goals of the learning process is behavior change, which includes changes in knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Achievement of the objectives of this learning process can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained as well as the attitudes and behavior of students in everyday life. However, various obstacles are still often encountered in implementing the learning process. Class XI Vocational School Accounting Computer Subjects, Institutional Accounting and Finance study programs are considered difficult by some students and can be intimidating to learn. Such an assumption is of course a big obstacle in the learning process, it can be said that students have lost before going to war. MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) is an accounting computer application program for working on the accounting cycle to produce financial reports. Students' problems in applying the MYOB accounting computer include setting accounts, setting taxes, linked accounts, recording initial balance data, recording cards, recording transactions, making adjustment journals and preparing financial reports which takes a long time to understand. Thus, animation-based learning videos were prepared to support student learning activities

Abstract

This article presents a Community Service Program conducted at the BSD Campus of Unika Atma Jaya, focusing on the integrated implementation of sustainability based on Laudato Si. The activities aim to preserve the environment, particularly the campus lake, and to internalize the values of Laudato Si among the entire academic community. The methods employed involve the engagement of students, staff, and the surrounding community in the Eco Enzyme Festival 2024, which is also part of the effort to break a MURI record. This initiative produced 50 liters of eco-enzyme used to maintain the lake's ecosystem quality. Additionally, the program includes education on waste management and environmental conservation. With active participation from various stakeholders, it is hoped that this initiative will enhance awareness and tangible actions in sustaining the environment at the BSD Campus.

Abstract

Blood donation activities play an important role in ensuring the availability of blood for various medical needs, both for surgery, accidents, and dengue fever cases. Through this community service activity, the Community Service Team of the Indonesian Science University in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bandung City held a blood donation activity at H&H Cafe, Bandung, on February 8, 2025. The main objective of this activity is to increase public awareness of the importance of blood donation, introduce the application of strategic management in social activities, and increase community participation in blood donation. This activity managed to collect 63 blood bags, exceeding the initial target of 50 bags. The success factors of this activity include effective promotion through social media, efficient resource management, and clear target setting. The principle of strategic management was applied to optimize the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities, so that they can achieve long-term success. Despite facing obstacles such as limited space and lack of volunteers, solutions such as donor scheduling and additional volunteers managed to overcome these obstacles. This activity not only meets the need for blood in Bandung City, but also increases public awareness of the benefits of regular blood donation. Recommendations for the future are to carry out blood donation activities routinely with a broader strategic management approach to increase efficiency and participation.

Abstract

  Abstract Physical education is a discipline that studies health, physical development, and student skills through sports activities. PJOK (Physical Education, Sports, and Health) teachers play an important role in the physical education system. In addition to teaching, they are responsible for educating students about health and physical fitness. To improve the competence of PJOK teachers to become professionals with the hope of enhancing the quality of learning, a physical fitness coaching clinic was conducted for PJOK teachers in Kapuas Hulu Regency. The procedures carried out included the distribution of a pre-test questionnaire to assess understanding of physical fitness, in-depth material sessions, practical measurement of physical fitness, and the distribution of a post-test questionnaire to evaluate the results of the activities. This program was attended by PJOK teachers from junior high schools (SMP), senior high schools (SMA), and vocational schools (SMK) throughout Kapuas Hulu Regency.

Abstract

The type of drying tool depends on the amount of production, availability of resources, and capital owned by farmers. Controlled drying can produce products with even quality and diminish the risk of disruption due to uncertain weather conditions. Automatic drying enables farmers to use various types of agricultural and plantation products, which require special drying equipment. Chocolate is a type of plant that is easy to grow and also provides high profits for farmers. After the harvest, farmers separate the cocoa beans to be dried in the sun. Drying relies on sunlight, it takes days to dry. To facilitate drying cocoa beans, farmers are introduced to automatic tools using sensors. The Internet of Things (IoT) works based on the type of sensor, the sensor reads the data and then works to produce temperature and heat that makes it easier to dry chocolate. This activity aims to produce maximum cocoa beans so that they can be sold at high prices.

Abstract

The development of digital technology offers great opportunities for MSMEs to increase competitiveness, especially in product promotion. This community service aims to identify the strategic role of digital marketing in student and MSME business promotion and to describe the contribution of Faculty of Economics students as agents of change. The method used is literature review and descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that digital marketing provides a wide market reach, cost efficiency, and consumer interaction capabilities. Faculty of Economics students have great potential in assisting MSMEs’ digitalization through training and mentoring. This study concludes that collaboration between academia and MSMEs is essential in advancing the digital economy.
