Abstract

Word of Mouth (WoM) marketing has become a significant strategy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in increasing brand awareness, building trust and driving sales. In the context of MSMEs in the RW 08 Sunter Agung area, socialization is an effective method for implementing WoM marketing. This research aims to evaluate the impact of socialization on the understanding and implementation of WoM marketing strategies by MSME mothers in the region. Through a participatory and interactive approach, empathy, and exchange of ideas, socialization was held to provide an in-depth understanding of the concept, implementation, and evaluation of WoM marketing. The research results showed that the outreach activities were successful in increasing MSME mothers' understanding of WoM marketing strategies, with 70% of participants stating they were ready to implement these strategies in their businesses. The enthusiasm and active involvement of MSME mothers in socialization also contributed to the success of the program. Thus, participation in outreach activities is an important key in ensuring a good understanding and effective implementation of WoM marketing strategies. This research provides valuable insight into the importance of socialization in the context of WoM marketing for MSMEs, with practical implications for local business development

Abstract

This community service reviews the problems faced by Mrs Shinta's Anugrah Jaya MSME located in Malang. This MSME produces tempeh, cassava, banana and taro chips which are handmade and manual equipment. The lack of long-term knowledge makes it difficult for Anugrah Jaya Ibu Shinta to compete. From the observation, it was found that there was no maximum utilisation of social media. The business owner has only received messages through the whatshapp platform. Not only that, but product shots are also disproportionate and many parts are cut or not visible due to camera angle errors. This article aims to share the experience of Community Service in the form of product photo training conducted through observation and training methods. The training was conducted through 2 stages, namely the socialisation and practice stages. This photo training aims to enable Mrs Shinta's Anugrah Jaya MSME to package her kripik products in photos that look visually appealing so that they can support product sales

Abstract

The high cases of sexual violence against children in South Konawe Regency have become a concern for various parties. Although physical sexual violence appears on the surface, non-physical sexual violence is still rife, especially in the school environment. The students were unaware that they were either perpetrators or victims of non-physical sexual violence. In the view of the students, non-physical sexual violence behavior is only a joke, but in the perspective of criminal law, the behavior is a criminal offense. Therefore, it is necessary to increase legal understanding to students related to sexual violence. This legal counseling is carried out at MAN 1 Konsel and SMAN 8 Konsel with direct legal counseling methods in the form of lectures and discussions. Through this service activity, the students learned about the criminal law regulations related to sexual violence. With that understanding, students understand that non-physical sexual violence is prohibited in criminal law and is threatened with criminal sanctions. The results of this legal counseling illustrate the leap in knowledge gained by students. With an understanding of criminal law regulations this will help in creating thoughts, behaviors based on legal norms

Abstract

Changes in students' mindsets and lifestyles can influence a decrease in interest in writing scientific papers. With advances in technology and the popularity of social media, students tend to be more interested in things that are instant and consumer, thus ignoring the importance of self-development through activities such as writing scientific papers. Writing scientific papers is an important activity in building academic and professional capacity for students in the Public Administration study program. This writing training aims to develop analytical skills, improve communication skills, deepen understanding of public administration, encourage the development of creativity and innovation, and prepare students for careers in this field. By focusing on current and complex issues in public administration, this training provides students with the opportunity to explore and analyze relevant problems, as well as find innovative solutions. Through a structured approach and comprehensive guidance, students are encouraged to write clearly, persuasively and organizedly, so that they are able to convey policy analysis or recommendations accurately and effectively. Thus, training in writing scientific papers becomes a strong foundation for developing the intellectual and professional capacity of Public Administration students, as well as solid preparation to face future challenges in the work environment in the public sector
