Abstract

This service activity aims to optimize the use of digital marketing through seminars on successful MSME strategies to improve the family economy for the coastal communities of Panjang Island, Banten. The total respondents involved in this survey were 20 MSME owners salting and boiling anchovies, banana chips, dola-dola dodol seaweed and seaweed cultivation. In this service activity, there are several stages of implementation including: (1) survey; (2) measure prior knowledge; (3) digital marketing assistance; and (4) evaluation. In addition, this activity also includes MSME mentoring activities in the form of continuous support. Results of the series of activities: (1) survey: Long Island coastal communities have great potential to develop their MSME businesses through digital marketing; (2) measuring prior knowledge to confirm survey findings, with the majority of seminar participants having a limited understanding of digital marketing; (3) mentoring activities involving seminars on digital marketing success strategies succeeded in providing in-depth insights to participants; and (4) the evaluation results of the seminar activities showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of digital marketing. Overall, this service activity proves that training and mentoring in digital marketing can provide tangible benefits for the coastal communities of Panjang Island

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) were carried out in East Baumata village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara with the target of MSME partners of the Nekemolo Farmer Group. PKM activities are carried out with the aim of providing understanding to partners about the supporting factors of business activities in their villages, namely marketing strategy factors, product legality and financial management so that the business activities carried out are not only profit-oriented, but business activities can continue to grow in the future by paying attention to and applying supporting factors for business activities. To achieve this goal, PKM activities are held in the form of socialization about business legality, especially regarding brands and legality in business activities, product marketing strategies and digital financial management. The socialization is adjusted to the problems and needs faced by MSME partners of the Nekemolo Farmer Group, East Baumata Village, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Partners are also given training on product marketing strategies using digital marketing and financial management using software. The method of carrying out activities consists of three stages. The first stage of preparation includes pre-survey, team building, proposal creation and submission, team and partner coordination and preparation of training tools and materials. The second stage is the program implementation stage in the form of socialization and training. Socialization is carried out through counseling (material presentation) and discussion while training is carried out through tutorials and mentoring. The third stage is the evaluation and reporting stage. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the condition of partners before and after the implementation of the program with interview and observation methods. After that, a report is prepared for further publication. The material presented in socialization is in the form of brands as marketing strategies in business activities, the role of digital marketing as a strategy in product marketing and bookkeeping using software. Training topics include how to register products to get a brand online, creating accounts in digital media and the application of accounting in financial management using software. The results and outputs of activities after socialization are carried out, namely first, partners experience an increase in understanding of the brand and want to register products (brand awareness) as a marketing strategy and partners implement attractive brand creation and "sell" for their products. Second, partners become aware and able to manage finances digitally. With the implementation of this program, it is hoped that there will be improvements in the economic sector of the community in MSMEs Nekemolo Farmer Group, East Baumata Village, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Other outputs are publications in national journals with ISSN as mandatory outputs and IPR scientific articles

Abstract

In the MSME sector in Pondok Kahuru Village, the lack of product marketing strategies means low consumer purchasing power which causes low sales turnover. The aim of carrying out this community service activity is to provide education and assistance to MSMEs in product marketing strategies in order to increase consumer purchasing power, so that it can increase sales turnover.  The samples in this activity are Ms. Udoh's MSME dapros products. This method of implementing community service uses a descriptive observational method, followed by providing counseling, mentoring and seminars. In conclusion, through community service activities it can help increase consumer purchasing power because it expands wider market reach and can increase sales turnover.

Abstract

The benefit of this activity is to encourage children to learn English from an early age. This activity was held at the Sonaf Maneka Orphanage as a partner of this activity. This activity is carried out through two methods: providing theory and providing direct teaching practice carried out by the PKM team. By using media such as songs, videos, pictures, and games. The material provided includes the alphabet, colors, body parts, numbers, and animals. Apart from that, to avoid boredom for recipients of the material, several games, such as word games, are also provided. This activity is considered to have a positive impact and foster children's interest in learning English, as shown by the children's enthusiastic responses. In addition, the children began repeating the English words they learned, such as the names of colors and numbers, on the last day of service. This is consistent with the idea that children have the ability to imitate what they see and hear. Therefore, we can conclude that this activity successfully achieved its aim of fostering children's interest in learning English

Abstract

In accordance with articles 31 and 32 of the 1945 Constitution, as amended in Chapter XIII, it is stipulated that every citizen has the right to education because through education, every citizen can prepare themselves to play a role in society. This right extends to migrant workers, including all members of their families working in Taiwan, who are entitled to the same educational opportunities. Recognizing the awareness and responsibility of Indonesian students pursuing undergraduate (S1), master (S2), and doctoral (S3) studies in Taiwan to assist migrant workers in furthering their education, in 2015, they established an educational institution promoting equality in the form of a non-formal education programs, later known as the Community Learning Activity Center of the Indonesian Student Association (PKBM-PPI) Taiwan. The available programs include Package A (Elementary School), Package B (Junior High School), and Package C (Senior High School). The participants are migrant workers employed in Taiwan as caregivers for the elderly, aged between 20-50 years, predominantly female. Despite the PKBM activities commencing after their regular working hours, from 21:00 to 23:00 local time or 20:00 to 22:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB), participants remain enthusiastic about attending the PKBM initiated and conducted by Indonesian students. This enthusiasm extends to participating in the Basic English Conversation Program, organized through collaboration between PKBM-PPI Taiwan and the Community Service Cluster of the English Language Program, Faculty of Humanities, Widyatama University, spanning one month (8 sessions).

Abstract

The aim of this community service (Abdimas) activity is to introduce numbers through the Smart Board for Kids learning media. The partners in this community service activity are TK Indriyasana VII which is part of the Dharma Ibu Surabaya Foundation which is located on Jl. Dukuh Kupang XXX/51 Surabaya. The Abdimas subjects this time are 10 students currently sitting in Kindergarten A. The implementation of this community service activity was carried out for 2 months and consisted of 2 stages, namely the media introduction stage and the media use stage. In stage 1, the author introduces the Smart Board for Kids learning media to children, then in stage 2 the children are asked to play games using the Smart Board for Kids and show excellent number recognition. In conclusion, the Smart Board for kids learning media can improve number recognition in early childhood

Abstract

Tremendous growth in the number of undergraduate pharmacy programs in Indonesia between 2015 and 2020 has resulted in incapacities in many aspects of institutions, in particular academic staff numbers, educational supporting facilities and infrastructure quality, and curriculum design capability to fulfill the outcome-based education (OBE) era in Indonesia. Even in the initial stage, creating program learning outcomes (PLO) is becoming a hurdle in many pharmacy study programs. On the other hand, a firm PLO formulation of a study program will propel many downstream aspects in the educational management cycles. Based on several PLOs designing supervision, it can be revealed that some competence leveling statements, standardization according to higher education order, and wording choices are critical. Based on the real experience, in this review, the inaccuracies in PLO arrangements will be defined and clarified

Abstract

Poverty has been a problem for almost all countries. Efforts to reduce poverty can be done by increasing community capacity and productivity and creating new jobs. Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) is a forum for society to increase its capacity and productivity. The main problem faced by the people of Karangnanas Village, Banyumas Regency is the lack of optimal empowerment of their resources, especially human resources. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to empower the community through macrame handicraft and social media optimization training for product marketing. These trainings are expected to increase the knowledge and skills of the community, as well as foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the people of Karangnanas Village. Optimizing marketing via social media is an important strategy in business. With advances in information technology, product sales will become more efficient and can reach a wider market. This PKM activities are carried out through 3 stages: preparation, training and practice, as well as evaluation. These PKM activities are expected to be sustainable and encourage people to become entrepreneurs which in turn will improve the welfare of the people of Karangnanas Village

Abstract

Challenges in achieving food security are increasingly profound, technological advances, rapid population growth, and changes in consumption patterns that affect the waste management paradigm, creating a context to support the emergence of liquid fertilizer innovation based on organic waste. Warakas is an interesting case study in the effort to achieve sustainable agriculture through organic waste management. The training in Warakas was implemented with a scientific and educational approach aimed at providing better knowledge to the community about the benefits of sustainable organic waste management. The participation of 15 participants reflected positive results, where 85% were active in sorting organic waste, 80% understood the fermentation process, 75% understood the use of additional materials, and 90% of participants showed understanding in utilizing organic waste into organic liquid fertilizer. Community participation contributes to reducing organic waste that can pollute the environment. As a positive step, this initiative creates a sustainable development model in Warakas and surrounding areas and opens up opportunities for improving the community's welfare

Abstract

In the internet media era, caused affects various sectors, including the economic sector. This can be seen from promotional activities, marketing, and financial transactions using the internet. The wide market that can be reached by promotional and sales activities using the internet, which is currently known as Digital Marketing, requires the MSME sector to be more creative and innovative in using internet media and designing promotional designs for their products, in this case visual designs in the form of photos. Photos product that are quite interesting and creative. Photos product or commercial photos are all images of a product that will be sold. To produce quality product photos you need a quality camera, both a professional camera and a smartphone camera. Currently, smartphones offer attractive features with quality hardware. The method that will be used in this PKM activity is the training and mentoring method. The training material includes digital marketing tutoring and photography exercise by smartphones. The form of assistance is producing good and quality product photos for use in online and offline promotions and marketing. With the implementation of this PKM, it is expected could assist to MSMEs improve their understanding of digital marketing comprehensively and able to produce quality product photos.
