Abstract

This research aims to explain the effect of using Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) on students' reading comprehension in the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu. To explain the effect, researchers used experimental research with a quasi-design. The location of this research was taken in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu with a sample size of 70 students. Based on this text, researchers found a significant effect of using Collaborative Strategic Reading on students' reading comprehension, with results of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < ½ ? (0.025). It can be concluded that there is an influence produced by the use of CSR in reading comprehension. This research also looks at the difference in average scores in the post-test results of the two classes, where the experimental class score is higher than the control class with a score of 72.31 > 68.53 with a comparison score of 3.78. It can be ascertained that the research conducted by researchers produced results in seeing differences in the use of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) on students' reading comprehension.

Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of human resource management (HR) in improving the quality of education in schools. Through a comprehensive approach, this article will analyze various aspects of human resource management in schools, including planning, development and evaluation of the performance of teaching and education staff. Furthermore, the impact of HRM on improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes in schools will be studied in depth. The resulting findings and recommendations are expected to provide insight for stakeholders in efforts to improve the effectiveness of HRM and the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of teacher educational background on students' interest in learning Social Sciences (IPS) based on a literature review. This literature study collects and analyzes various relevant journals to understand how teacher education and training can influence students' motivation and interest in learning in social studies subjects. Literature analysis shows that teachers with higher educational qualifications and adequate professional training tend to be able to create a more effective and interesting learning atmosphere, thereby increasing students' interest in learning. This research found that factors such as teacher education level, teaching experience, and participation in professional development programs have a significant effect on students' interest in learning. This study also identified that innovative and interactive teaching methods applied by highly educated teachers can motivate students to be more active in learning social studies. Recommendations from this study emphasize the importance of improving qualifications and continuous training for teachers to improve the quality of education and students' interest in learning. This research makes an important contribution to the field of education by providing insight into how a teacher's educational background can influence students' learning interest in social studies subjects.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between social sciences and social sciences and society. Social sciences can play an important role in social education, because they provide the opportunity to understand relationships between humans more systematically and be able to apply them in everyday life. Social education is broader than social science and is not limited to one area of the curriculum, or to education within schools. The social sciences that have made many contributions to Social Sciences are Geography, History and Pancasila Moral Education. Besides that, a lot of material is needed from Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Philosophy and sometimes even Natural Science.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning has a very important role in fostering student character at school. This article examines how PAI learning can contribute to students' character building through curriculum approaches, teaching methods, and social interactions in the school environment. Using qualitative methods and literature analysis, this study found that effective PAI learning can shape students' moral, ethical, and spiritual character, as well as increase their awareness of positive religious values. Islamic Religious Education learning has great significance in fostering student character. Through a structured curriculum, appropriate teaching methods, and positive social interactions, Islamic Education can shape students with good character in accordance with Islamic teachings. Cooperation between teachers, parents, and schools is needed to optimize Islamic Education learning and support students' character development.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the problem of student learning styles in group learning and product targets in making project assignments. The aim of this research is to find solutions that can be used to solve problems at SMAS Sultan Iskandar Muda Medan School through Project Based Learning (PjBL). The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The subjects in this research were students of SMAS Sultan Iskandar Muda Medan. This research uses surveys and literature to collect data. Research findings show that the use of the PjBL model can improve students' collaboration abilities in group learning. Students and teachers can utilize available resources to ensure that the tools and materials used by students are accessible. The conclusion of this research is that the PjBL learning model can be an effective solution in overcoming student learning style problems and optimizing product targets in working on project assignments in groups.

Abstract

Ethics in the context of higher education encompasses a set of norms and values that govern interactions between students, as well as their relationships with university lecturers and staff. This study aims to explore how ethics are applied in student discussions at UINSU and how it affects the dynamics and quality of academic interaction on campus. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative approach with a focus on the analysis of descriptive data in the form of written texts. The main source of data comes from literature, including reading, understanding, and analyzing various sources of writing and books that are relevant to the problem discussed. This type of study is qualitative, where the data is explained verbally and analyzed without using statistical techniques. In ethical debates, participants think about how they interact with their opponents and spectators in addition to winning or losing. Those who participate in the debate are expected to treat their interlocutors politely and professionally.

Abstract

Higher education as a place for the implementation of education has the duty and responsibility to lay the foundations of moral values. Lecturers are a profession that requires expertise and technical knowledge enough to support their professionalism. Lecturers have duties and responsibilities that are manifested in the tri dharma of higher education, including education and teaching, research and community service. For this reason, lecturers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities must always uphold ethics. Because ethics has a role in ensuring the quality of services provided to the academic community. This study uses a qualitative method and is completed with a sociology of knowledge approach. The use of this sociological approach of knowledge is a way to achieve relevance between the construction of righteousness that is made to be able to explain the data that is used as a step and effort in solving this research so that this research can provide an explanation that is able to influence the understanding of the reader. In the treatment of lecturers who often interact between lecturers and students, both in providing lessons or services carried out by lecturers to students. At UIN North Sumatra, it can be categorized that the lecturers in this university provide influence and also satisfactory service not all, but this is able to give a view on the ethics of lecturers in handling problems and student lessons with pedagogic competence and professional attitudes possessed by the lecturers. Ethics for lecturers at UIN North Sumatra universities are only a few and only a few. But basically, the average lecturer at UIN North Sumatra University has service ethics and coaching lessons can be met with all the needs of the students themselves.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a platform that not only helps develop and channel children's talents and interests, but also develops aspects of child development, such as one aspect of art, in this case dance for early childhood. Dance plays an important role in children's development, because dance helps equip children with life skills in accordance with educational goals, namely learning how to or thinking skills, learning to do or the ability to do or act, learning to be or the ability to perform, learning to learn or the skill to learn, and learning to life or the skill to live together. This research aims to find out teachers' strategies for developing dance talent in early childhood and the obstacles faced in developing dance talent in early childhood at the Citra Mandiri Kindergarten Batang Quiz. At the Citra Mandiri Batang Quiz Kindergarten, children who have dance talents can be channeled optimally, which can be seen from the trophies obtained from the results of competitions in which children at the Citra Mandiri Batang Quiz Kindergarten participate. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are as follows: the strategies used in developing children's dance talents are providing dance facilities and infrastructure, giving gifts/rewards, choosing interesting songs for children and creating interesting and simple movements, using dance props and dance costumes, holding competitions with other schools, and the teacher has dance talent. This research aims to provide teachers with learning strategies in developing the art of dance in early childhood at TK Citra Mandiri, Batang Kuis sub-district.

Abstract

Given the strong connection between physical activities, such as sports, and factors like quality of life, health, and overall well-being, it is crucial for every person to cultivate an interest in sports. Many sports that are popular throughout the community are categorised as "traditional." Traditional sports are activities that take place on a flat or level surface and involve the use of conventional equipment. There are two sorts of characteristics, namely intrinsic and extrinsic variables, that can impact an individual's inclination for traditional athletics. The investigation sought to ascertain the level of enthusiasm for conventional sports among students at Bina Guna STOK. This inquiry utilised quantitative descriptive analysis. The population being utilised refers to the group of students from the 2023 cohort at PJKR STOK Bina Guna Medan. The snowball sample technique, encompassing a total of fifty individuals, was employed. A questionnaire is a research tool that is utilised. The findings of the comprehensive analysis indicate that students at STIKP Pasundan have a significant inclination towards traditional sports, with a 4% share classified as "moderate," 58% as "high," and 28% as "very high." Based on the percentage of interest, the average value obtained for the interest of Bina Guna STOK students in traditional sports is classed as "High".
