Rengganis Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Mataram yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah mengenai berbagai aktivitas pengabdian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Abstract

MSMEs are the driving force of the community's economy and play an important role in the coffee processing sector. Gupait MSMEs still face obstacles in the roasting process, which is done manually using a hand crank, resulting in unstable temperatures and inconsistent roasting quality. This community service program was implemented using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through the stages of observation, socialization, design of a temperature-controlled roasting machine, trial assistance, and operational training for partners. The roasting machine developed has a capacity of 5 kg per roasting process and uses an automatic Temperature Control system. The implementation results showed a significant improvement in the quality of the roasting, with a uniformity level of around 85-90% and no burnt coffee beans, based on visual evaluation from field trials. Additionally, production capacity increased from approximately 1 kg to 5 kg (maximum drum capacity). The assistance also improved partners' understanding of equipment use and maintenance. This program had a positive impact on product quality improvement, process efficiency, and the competitiveness of Gupait MSMEs.

Abstract

Elementary students’ literacy skills in East Lombok remain relatively low, while the use of digital devices in schools is still limited. This community service aimed to enhance the competence of elementary teachers in Gugus Suntalangu in utilizing information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI), particularly Diffit, to support differentiated literacy learning. The program applied a participatory approach through training, hands-on practice (learning by doing), classroom implementation, mentoring, and reflection. Instruments included questionnaires, classroom observations, focus group discussions (FGD), and assessment of teachers’ learning products. A total of 34 teachers actively participated. Questionnaire results indicated that all teachers responded positively, affirming that IT- and AI-based media are curriculum-relevant, easy to use, engaging, and feasible to implement. The outputs included training modules, AI-based literacy assessments using Diffit, and digital media products such as AR, VR, and local culture-based digital storytelling. This program demonstrates that integrating IT and AI can strengthen teachers’ skills and has strong potential for replication in other school clusters.

Abstract

Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mendorong perubahan dalam metode pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Guru diharapkan mampu menggunakan berbagai media, baik sederhana maupun modern, sesuai tuntutan perkembangan zaman, bahkan menciptakan media pembelajaran mereka sendiri. Hal ini menuntut pengajar memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang media pembelajaran. Namun, di banyak sekolah, termasuk SD Gugus Suntalangu Kecamatan Suwela Lombok Timur, matematika masih dianggap sulit dan kurang menarik oleh siswa. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa guru di wilayah tersebut jarang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis IT dalam mengajar matematika. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan atau mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika interaktif berbasis teknologi. Pelatihan ini dilakukan melalui metode ekspos fakto, praktik, diskusi, presentasi, serta evaluasi. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah para guru dapat memanfaatkan hasil kegiatan ini secara maksimal, tidak hanya di Gugus Suntalangu, tetapi juga di sekolah-sekolah sekitar Kecamatan Suela. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan akan didokumentasikan dan dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi sebagai bentuk penyebarluasan manfaat program.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan kurangnya pengembangan pembelajaran matematika inovatif yang menyenangkan yang dilaksanakan guru-guru di SDN 4 Suntalangu sebagai salah satu sekolah di Gugus Suntalangu Kecamatan Suela Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Permainan edukatif matematika merupakan solusi yang dapat mengatasi kurangnya pengembangan pembelajaran inovatif yang menyenangkan untuk dilaksanakan di sekolah-sekolah dasar Gugus Suntalangu Kecamatan Suela Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru-guru SD di Gugus Suntalangu Kecamatan Suela Kabupaten Lombok Timur tentang permainan edukatif matematika dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam penerapannya di kelas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sudah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 31 Mei 2025 bertempat di SDN 4 Suntalangu. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kegiatan yang terdiri dari: (1) Diskusi terfokus FGD (Focus Group Discussion) peningkatan pengetahuan tentang permainan edukatif matematika, dan (2) Penerapan permainan edukatif matematika dalam praktek pembelajaran dalam lingkup terbatas. Kegiatan ini diharapkan bermanfaat bagi guru-guru SD di Gugus Suntalangu Kecamatan Suela Kabupaten Lombok Timur dan berdampak pada terjadinya peningkatan kompetensi professional dan pedagogik, yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan tentang permainan edukatif matematika dan keterampilan menerapkan permainan edukatif matematika dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

The ability to design learning assessments is an essential competence for teachers to measure students’ achievement, evaluate the effectiveness of the learning process, and provide constructive feedback. This community service program was carried out to enhance the competence of elementary school teachers in the Suela Cluster, East Lombok, in developing relevant, interactive mathematics assessments supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The implementation method consisted of five stages: (1) needs analysis through teacher interviews, (2) intensive training on the use of AI and supporting applications such as Canva Magic AI and Almanack, (3) workshops on interactive assessment design, (4) classroom implementation mentoring, and (5) focus group discussions (FGD) on implementation results. Data were collected using questionnaires completed by 15 teachers, covering 13 indicators that assessed clarity of material delivery, trainer mastery, relevance, participation, usefulness, and the impact of training on teaching practice. The results showed that the average score per indicator ranged from 3.60 to 3.87 (scale 1–4), with the highest scores in clarity of delivery and relevance, and the lowest in time effectiveness. Qualitative analysis emphasized the need for longer duration, more varied practice examples (especially for lower grades), deeper materials, and program sustainability. Thus, the training proved effective in improving elementary school teachers’ competence in understanding and utilizing AI for mathematics assessment, although optimization is still required in technical aspects and program continuity.

Abstract

SDN 4 Suntalangu is a school located at the foot of Mount Rinjani, precisely in Suela Sub-district, East Lombok Regency. The limitations of facilities and the lack of technologically literate educators in keeping up with current developments are important issues to note. Therefore, the implementation of a coaching clinic program on the use of website-based digital assessment media as an evaluation tool is a necessity for teachers at SDN 4 Suntalangu in order to enhance their skills in utilizing digital technology as a means of learning evaluation. In the digital era, website-based assessments offer an efficient and practical alternative compared to conventional methods such as paper-based assessments. There are many advantages to conducting digital, website-based learning evaluations, including making the learning process more engaging since students can learn visually and directly. Moreover, assessment results can be obtained in real time, so teachers no longer have to manually grade each student’s work one by one. However, many teachers still face limited understanding in designing and using digital assessment media, which leads to less optimal learning evaluation. The purpose of this program is to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to use website-based assessment media, to improve the quality of learning evaluation, and to support the achievement of a more effective and modern learning process. The implementation method of this program consists of three main stages. First, the socialization stage to introduce the concept and benefits of digital assessment media. Second, technical training (hands-on training) to teach how to create and manage website-based assessments using both free and paid platforms. Third, intensive mentoring to assist teachers in implementing these assessment tools in classroom learning. The expected outcomes of this community service program include scientific publications in ISSN-registered journals and the dissemination of results online through the Mathematics Education Study Program website, which is connected to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) website at the University of Mataram. An additional expected outcome is the utilization of the website-based assessment applications/programs developed through this program in classes of certain courses.

Abstract

The learning process of elementary schools in Suntalangu village has not fully integrated digital technology in the learning process, so innovative technology-based learning has not run optimally. Some of the reasons for this are that schools do not have libraries and laboratories, so students and teachers have limited access to adequate learning resources. Based on this, to improve the quality of mathematics learning in Elementary Schools (SD) Gugus Suntalangu can be done using website-based digital media. Specifically, this media is expected to help visualize the material, increase student interaction, and improve understanding of concepts. Another goal is to improve teachers' ability to integrate digital technology into the learning process and implement innovative digital-based learning approaches. The method of implementation is by holding technology adaptation training for teachers in the suntalangu cluster. The service activity was held at SDN 4 Suntalangu, East Lombok, on May 28, 2025, with 20 teachers from 14 elementary schools as participants. This service has succeeded in improving teachers' ability to use website-based digital media. This learning media has proven to be relevant and effective in helping teachers and students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Desa Talangsuko, Kecamatan Turen, Kabupaten Malang is classified as an area with moderate risk of perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS), indicating that PHBS management is not yet optimal. This community service aimed to improve household water management in Desa Talangsuko by implementing filtration and adsorption technology through tap water filters. The activities included water sampling, tap water filter design, education on clean water through counseling and hands-on demonstrations, and installation of tap water filters. The results showed an improvement in household water quality after the use of the tap water filters, as indicated by the reduction of chemical contaminants such as fluoride, nitrate, and water hardness. The counseling and hands-on demonstrations increased community awareness about clean water and the importance of regularly replacing water filter materials. These results suggest that this program demonstrated a positive impact on household water management in Desa Talangsuko.

Abstract

Sampah plastik adalah masalah lingkungan yang sulit diuraikan dan jumlahnya terus bertambah, terutama di Desa Sangiang, Kecamatan Wera, Kabupaten Bima. Kebiasaan orang-orang yang masih membuang dan membakar sampah sembarangan menyebabkan pencemaran udara, tanah, dan air. Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan solusi dengan melatih masyarakat dalam pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi paving block yang berguna dan memiliki nilai jual. Metode yang dipakai termasuk penyebaran ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta pelatihan langsung untuk masyarakat dan Karang Taruna, dengan dukungan dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa paving block yang dibuat dari limbah plastik lebih kuat dibandingkan paving block biasa, tidak mudah rusak, lebih ringan, dan ramah lingkungan. Di samping itu, kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kebersihan, memberdayakan pemuda desa, dan membuka usaha baru melalui pemasaran produk paving block. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya menyelesaikan masalah sampah, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan ekonomi dan keberlanjutan lingkungan di Desa Sangiang.

Abstract

Desa Sangiang di Kecamatan Wera, Kabupaten Bima, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, merupakan wilayah pesisir dengan potensi pariwisata besar. Daerah pesisir berpotensi menghadapi permasalahan pencemaran laut akibat limbah cair rumah tangga yang mengandung logam berat. Kondisi ini tidak hanya mengancam ekosistem laut, tetapi juga berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir. Tenaga pengajar dan mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Teknik Pertambangan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram bersama mahasiswa ilmu pemerintahan Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Desa Sangiang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan menerapkan teknologi arang aktif sebagai solusi ramah lingkungan dalam upaya pencegahan pencemaran laut. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan demonstrasi di Aula Desa Sangiang yang melibatkan masyarakat, kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis), serta perangkat desa. Materi sosialisasi mencakup bahaya pencemaran laut, kandungan logam berat dalam limbah rumah tangga, dan pembuatan arang aktif sederhana dari bahan lokal seperti tempurung kelapa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan limbah cair rumah tangga, kemampuan teknis dalam pembuatan dan penggunaan arang aktif, serta komitmen Pokdarwis dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan pesisir. Penerapan teknologi arang aktif terbukti efektif menyaring logam berat dan berpotensi diterapkan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan, sekaligus mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan berbasis masyarakat di Desa Sangiang.
