Abstract

The title of the study is "Analysis of the Implementation Method Read Enter Improve Reading Literacy Starters Children Age 5-6 Years". This study aims to analyze the application of methods to improve their reading enter to learn to read the beginning of children aged 5-6 years. The method used to analyze the data is descriptive, qualitative form. The subjects were teachers and children aged 5-6 years in Group B3 Preparation TK Sentra Islam Al-Kautsar Pontianak. From the research it can be concluded in general, that the application of the method has been applied to enter read well. One of them can be seen from the success rate when the teacher is 100% dipersentasikan children already know the alphabet, 73.3% of children are familiar with letters and symbols of the alphabet, and 26, 7% of children do not know the symbol alphabet. The constraints of the application of this method of reading enter, other educational media to support the implementation of this lack of adherence to standard materials play in the center, and there are still parents who force their children seem to be good at reading immediately. Thus recommended to teachers and schools should multiply again educative media and increasing cooperation with the parents to help the learning process. Abstrak : Judul penelitian ini adalah Analisis Penerapan Metode Baca Enter dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode baca enter dalam meningkatkan kemampuan belajar membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelompok B3 Sentra Persiapan TK Islam Al-Kautsar Pontianak. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan secara umum, bahwa penerapan metode baca enter ini telah diterapkan dengan baik. Salah satunya dapat dilihat dari tingkat keberhasilan guru bila dipersentasikan adalah 100% anak sudah mengenal huruf abjad, 73,3% anak sudah mengenal huruf dan lambang huruf abjad, dan 26, 7% anak belum mengenal lambang huruf abjad. Adapun hambatan dari penerapan metode baca enter ini, media edukatif lain yang dapat menunjang penerapan ini dinilai belum memenuhi standar bahan main di sentra, serta masih ada orangtua yang terkesan memaksakan anaknya agar segera pandai membaca. Dengan demikian disarankan kepada guru dan sekolah hendaknya memperbanyak lagi media edukatif serta meningkatkan kerjasama dengan orangtua dalam membantu proses pembelajaran. Abstract

Abstract: This research is concerned with finding how well RAFT strategy improved students’ hortatory exposition text writing skill in terms of correctness of writing simple present tense and writing complete text organization of hortatory exposition text. The purpose is to improve students’ ability in writing hortatory exposition text. The method of this research was classroom action research. The subjects of this research were 32 students at the second semester of the eleventh grade students of SMAN 7 Pontianak in academic year 2013/2014. Based on the data analysis, the result of the research was progress. It is showed that the students’ mean score for writing hortatory exposition improved from 69.63 (average) in the first cycle to 79.90 (good) in the second cycle. Based on the result of the data analysis, the writer took a conclusion that RAFT strategy is work well in improving students’ ability in writing hortatory exposition text.   Keywords: RAFT strategy, hortatory exposition text, writing     Abstrak: penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mengenai penemuan seberapa baik strategi RAFT meningkatkan keterampilan menulis text hortatory siswa dalam hubungan kebenaran menulis tenses simple present dan teks organisasi yang lengkap dari teks hortatory eksposisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks hortatory eksposisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 32 orang siswa kelas XI IPA semester 2 dari SMAN 7 Pontianak tahun akademik 2013/2014. Berdasarkan data analisis, hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari nilai rata-rata siswa dalam menulis teks hortatory eksposisi yang meningkat dari 69.63(sedang) di lingkaran pertama menjadi 79.90 (baik) dilingkaran kedua. Berdasarkan hasil data analisis, penulis mengambil kesimpulan bahwa strategi RAFT bekerja dengan baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa dalam teks hortatory eksposisi. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to solve the problems that were the students’ lack of reading in their first reading, and to find out whether the phonics technique can increase the student’s reading ability. The purposes of this research were: “To obtain how well phonics to improve students’ pronouncing ability” to the students of TK Kalam Kudus Pontianak. In this research, phonics is applied as one technique in order to increase young learner’s reading skill. Phonics is one strategy to help young children in pronouncing words or sentences to measure students’ pronouncing ability. It is used to help students represent sound or sounds. For the young learners, it works as a guideline when they start reading, because they can ready a word or sentences but pronounce its sound. The method of this research was Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted in three cycles. Each of cycle consists of four stages that is planning, action, observing, and reflecting stage. The subject of this research was 15 students who are the students of Kindergarten B TK Kalam Kudus Pontianak. The finding proves that phonics technique is effective to improve the students’ reading ability. The result of this research is the Kindergarten B students of TK Kalam Kudus Pontianak has shown their significant progress in improving reading by using phonics in each cycle: first cycle 1.4 point (very poor), second cycle 2.3 point (average) and third cycle 3.1 point (good). This means that phonics in one technique which is useful to improve students’ reading skill.Keywords: Phonics, Young Learners, Pronouncing, Classroom Action Reseach

Abstract

AbstractThis research was focused on the main character’s internal conflict in a novel, titled Rahasia Salinem by Brillian Yotenega and Wisnu Suryaning Adji and used as material in learning the Indonesian language in the twelve-grade of a senior high school. The research method was a qualitative descriptive study. The approach used was the literary psychology approach. The data were collected through the documentary study technique. The researcher and data cards were the tools of data collection. The data source in this research was the novel of Rahasia Salinem by Brillian Yotenega and Wisnu Suryaning Adji, while the data were internal and external conflicts in the form of quotes, phrases, sentences or paragraphs. Based on the results of data analysis regarding internal and external conflicts, internal conflicts of the main character included; feelings of surrender, worry, doubt, anger, unhappiness, wonder, sadness, fear, and confusion. External conflicts of Salinem as the main character included social conflicts. Social conflicts experienced by Salinem included; bickering, fighting, and debating. The analysis was conducted by observing internal and external conflicts experienced by the main character based on the literacy psychology approach by using personality structure theories, namely, idea, ego, and super ego.        Keywords:  Conflict, Character, Literature Psychological.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas murid dalam pembelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan media manipulatif di kelas IV SD Negeri 19 Sungai Kakap Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, jenis penelitiannya tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan murid berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dan komunikasi tidak langsung. Alat pengumpul data adalah lembar observasi guru dan murid. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui III siklus, prosedur penelitian terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah (1) aktivitas fisik murid mengalami peningkatan dari base line ke siklus III sebesar 58,33% dengan kategori cukup tinggi, (2) aktivitas mental murid mengalami peningkatan dari base line ke siklus III sebesar 65,83% dengan kategori tinggi, (3) aktivitas emosional murid mengalami peningkatan dari base line ke siklus III sebesar 62,50% dengan kategori tinggi. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Aktivitas, Matematika.  Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe the increase in activity of students in learning mathematics using manipulative media in fourth grade Elementary School 19 Sungai Kakap Kubu Raya. The method used is descriptive method , the type of class action research. Subjects were teachers and students numbering 24 people. The technique used is direct observation and indirect communication. Data collecting tool was a teacher and student observation sheet. This research was conducted through a third cycle, the research procedure consists of the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results are (1) physical activity of students has increased from the base line to the third cycle of 58.33% with a high category,(2) the mental activity of students has increased from the base line to the third cycle of 65.83% with a high category,(3) the emotional activity of students has increased from the base line to the third cycle of 62.50% with a high category. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve students' motivation to learn science classes VI to the use of instructional media in the learning process at the elementary school of 03 Kelampai school year 2012/2013. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subjects were six graders Kelampai State 03, as many as 27 people. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection instrument in this study using observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative research. The resulting increase in motivation can be seen from the observation sheet that shows an increase in the students' motivation. In the first cycle increased intrinsic motivation that appears on average 33.32% did not show up on average 66.66%. While the result of an increase in extrinsic motivation that appears on average 31.74% did not show up on average 68.25%. In the second cycle indicator increased to work on the observation sheet. result of an increase in the intrinsic motivation that comes with an average 81.47% did not show up on average 18.51%. While the result of an increase in extrinsic motivation that appears on average 87.82% did not show up on average 12.16%. Keywords: motivation, learning media, learning science. Abstrak :Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas VI dengan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran di SD Negeri 03 Kelampai tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 03 Kelampai, sebanyak 27 orang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil peningkatan motivasi ini dapat dilihat dari lembar observasi yang menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Pada siklus I peningkatan motivasi intrinsik yang munculrata-rata 33,32%tidak munculrata-rata 66,66%. Sementara pada hasil peningkatan motivasi ekstrinsik yang muncul rata-rata 31,74%tidakmuncul rata-rata 68,25%. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan terhadap indikator kerja pada lembar observasi. hasil peningkatan motivasi intrinsik yang muncul yaitu dengan rata-rata 81,47%tidak muncul rata-rata 18,51%.Sementara pada hasil peningkatan motivasi ekstrinsik yang muncul rata-rata 87,82%tidak muncul rata-rata 12,16%. Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to analyze the effect of the implementation of problem based learning towards X IPS students’ Geography achievements of MAN 2 Pontianak. This was an experimental research in form of quasi experimental reseach. The population was 117 students and, the sample were taken from X IPS 1 and X IPS 3 learning class through random sampling technique to determine the experiment and control class. The data of this research were measured through measurement technique with objectivity as the tools of data measuring. The collected mean score and mean difference were calculated by t-test (polled varians) and effect size measuremment to determine the effectiveness of problem based learning implementation. The result of this research shown that the obtained  t-value was greater than the t-table, which was 2,25, while the obtained effect size was 0,52. It can be concluded that there was a significant differences between the students’ mean score, and that Problem Based Learning model had moderate effect towards students’ achievement on hydrosphere dynamic learning material. Therefore, this researcher hoped that this research can contribute as an alternative teaching model for hydrosphere dynamic material on X class students.Keywords : Effectiveness, Problem Based Learning, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak : Berdasarkan observasi awal yang peneliti lakukan di sekolah peneliti menemukan anak kurang terampil dalam menulis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pada tes menulis pada pembelajaran Bahas Indonesia kelas V SD Negeri 14 Pontianak Kota tahun ajaran 2011/2012, dengan standar kompetensi Mengungkapkan pikiran , perasaan, informasi, dan fakta tertulis dalam bentuk ringkasan, laporan, dan puisi bebas rata-rata 65,38 sedangkan standar KKM nya adalah 7.00. Untuk mengatasi kesenjangan ini diperlukan suatu metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan peneliti mencoba membuat media pembelajaran dengan mengaplikasikan Metode Mind Map yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa kelas V SDN 14 Pontianak Kota. Mind map atau lebih dikenal dengan metode mapping dalam bahasa Indonesia berarti pikiran (otak) yang merencanakan langkah-langkah kegiatan yang akan dilakukan oleh siswa sebelum kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan agar terarah dan tepat. Berdasarkan paparan masalah penelitian di atas, maka tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan Mind Map (Peta Pikiran). Kata Kunci : Peningkatan Keterampilan, Menulis Eksposisi, Metode Mind Map Abstrak : Based on initial observations that researchers do in school reseavehers sound children are less skilled in writing. This can be seen from the average valve in test writing at grade V SD Negeri 14 Pontianak Kota school years 2011/2012, with thw standars of competence to express thoughts, feeling, information and facts written in the form of summaries, reports and poetry is 65,38 while its standar KKM is 7.00. To solve this gap we need a method of learning that attract and researchers are trying to make instructional media Mind Map by applying the method adapted to the characteristics of V grade elementary school students. Mind Map or better known as the mapping method in Indonesia means the mind (brain) which measures the activities planned to be conducted by the students before the activity is carried out in order to focus and precise. By exposure to the research problem above, the general objective of this study is an effort to improve writing akills in learning Indonesia using a Mind Map. Abstract

Abstract: The little of this research is effectiveness of cooperative learning model teams tournament games using video media on student learning outcomes on economic subjects of class X SMA 6 Pontianak ". With this study, "How the effectiveness of cooperative learning model TGT using video media on student learning outcomes on economic subjects of class X SMA 6 Pontianak". The method used experimental method to form quasi-experimental (Quasy Experimental Design), pretest-posttes non-equivalent control group design, using the technique of measurement and direct observation. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of cooperative learning model TGT using video media on the results of class X students of SMAN 6 Pontianak. The results show that the cooperative learning model of TGT using video media more effectively improve student learning outcomes on economic subjects of class X SMA 6 Pontianak Keyword: Effectiveness, Cooperative Learning Model Teams Games Tournament, video media, learning outcomes. Abstrak: Judul penelitian ini adalah efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif model teams games tournament menggunakan media video terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Dengan masalah penelitian Bagaimanakah efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif model TGT menggunakan media video terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X SMA negeri 6 Pontianak . Metode yang digunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk eksperimen semu (Quasy Eksperimental Design),rancangan pretest-posttes non-equivalent control group-design,teknik menggunakan pengukuran dan observasi langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif model TGT menggunakan media video terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif model TGT menggunakan media video lebih efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan petunjuk praktikum Kimia Dasar I berbasis inkuiri terbimbing, dan seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan petunjuk praktikum Kimia Dasar I berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Untan. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experimental design tipe the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas PAPK angkatan 2015 Prodi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Untan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan kerja ilmiah berbentuk esai. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji paired-samples t test, diperoleh nilai Sig. sebesar  0,000< 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan petunjuk praktikum Kimia Dasar I berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Penggunaan petunjuk praktikum memberikan pengaruh sebesar 62,2% terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa pada praktikum Kimia Dasar I. The sample in this research were students of class PAPK force 2015 Prodi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Untan with the sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection tool used is the test of scientific work in the form of essays. Based on data analysis using paired-samples t test, Sig values obtained at  Sig. 0,000 <0.05, which shows that there are differences in the ability of the scientific work of students before and after using the Basic Chemistry I lab manual based guided inquiry. The use of the lab manual gives the effect of 62.2% against an increase in the ability of the scientific work of students on practicum Basic Chemistry I.
