Abstract

AbstractStudent’s creative thinking ability is essential to be developed in national education practice. In fact, student’s creative thinking ability didn’t get serious attention even in school and national level. Even though, creative thinking is one of  standards that have been stated in every curriculum. So, this study aimed to explain student’s creative thinking ability to solve Geometric Dissection puzzle in dissecting rectangle into square. The research method was descriptive and research design was survey. The subject of this research was 44 students of VIII E SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. The result showed that there were 4 of 5 levels of student’s creative thinking ability. There were 16 (36,36%) students with “the most creative” thinking level, 20 (45,45%) students with “creative” thinking level, 7 (15,91%) students with “moderate creative” thinking level, and 1 (2,27%) students with “not creative” thinking level. In fluency aspect of creative thinking, there were 36 (82%) students qualify and 8 (18%) students didn’t. In flexibility aspect of creative thinking, there were 16 (36%) students qualify and 28 (64%) students didn’t. In originality aspect of creative thinking, there were 43 (98%) students qualify and 1 (2%) students didn’t. Keywords: Creative thinking ability, Geometric Dissections, Rectangle to square

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kebiasaan membaca dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas XI SMK Mandiri Pontianak pada tahun ajaran 2012-2013 serta mencari tahu apakah ada atau tidak hubungan kebiasaan membaca dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptip dengan bentuk analisis korelasional. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Mandiri Pontianak Tahun Ajaran 2012-2013, sedangkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai angket kebiasaan membaca dan nilai tes kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas XI SMK Mandiri Pontianak. Hasil analisis data mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa yang tergolong baik dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca pemahamanya 7,18, mendeskripsikan tingkat kebiasaan membaca siswa yang tergolong sedang dengan skor rata-rata 73,44 yang diperoleh dari hasil pengisian angket kebiasaan membaca siswa, serta menunjukan nilai-nilai kebiasaan membaca dengan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas XI SMK Mandiri Pontianak mempunyai tingkat korelasi yang tinggi. Kata Kunci: Kebiasaan, Kemampuan, Pemahaman, Membaca. Abstract: This study aims to describe the habit of reading and reading comprehension class XI student of SMK Mandiri Pontianak in the 2012-2013 school year as well as to find out whether or not the relationship of reading and reading comprehension. The method used in this research is descriptive method to form a correlational analysis. Sources of data in this study is a class XI student of SMK Mandiri Pontianak in Academic Year 2012-2013, while the data in this study was a questionnaire habit of reading and reading comprehension test class XI student of SMK Mandiri Pontianak. Results of data analysis to describe students' reading comprehension is good with the average value of 7,18 pemahamanya reading ability, describe the level of students' reading habits are quite medium with an average score of 73,44 obtained from the results of the questionnaire students' reading habits, as well as shows the values ​​of the habit of reading with a reading comprehension class XI student of SMK Mandiri Pontianak has a high level of correlation. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengajaran pemahaman membaca teks analitikal ekposisi kedalam strategi skema aktif. Ini adalah sebuah disain dari pre experimental dengan disain 1 grup pre- test dan post-test. Peserta dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 dari tingkat sebelas siswa dari SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hulu pada tahun akademik 2012/2013, yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan memberikan 30 soal dalam bentuk pilihan ganda ke 29 orang siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus t-test dan tingkat efektifitas. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa mengajar pemahaman membaca kedalam strategi skema aktif meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks analitikal ekposisi. Efektifitas penggunaan strategi tersebut adalah efektif. Kata kunci : Membaca, SAS, Teks Analitikal Ekposisi. Abstract: This research is focused on teaching reading comprehension on analytical exposition text through schema activation strategy. It is a pre experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The subject is Grade XI IPA 1 of the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau in academic year 2012/2013, numbering twenty nine students. The data were collected by giving 30 multiple choice items to the 29 students. The data were analyzed by t-test and effect size formula. The result indicate that teaching reading comprehension through Schema Activation Strategy increases students ability on anaytical exposition text. Its effectiveness is high. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu merangsang kecerdasan anak terutama kecerdasan logika matematika di PAUD Sejahtera Pontianak Timur. Untuk itu, perlu adanya media yang dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan memahami informasi yang disampaikan oleh guru yaitu dengan media kantong ajaib. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan penggunaan media kantong ajaib terhadap mengenal konsep angka 1-10 sebesar 73,33 %, menghitung jumlah bentuk-bentuk geometri (segi tiga, segi empat dan persegi panjang) sebesar 80 % dan menghitung jumlah warna (merah, kuning, jingga, hijau dan biru) sebesar 73,33 %.   Kata Kunci  : Kecerdasan Logika Matematika, Media Kantong Ajaib Abstract: This research is motivated lack of media that can help stimulate children’s intelligence, especially in early childhood logical-mathematica intelligence PAUD Sejahtera Pontianak Timur. To that end, the need for the media to create a fun learning enviroment and understand the information conveyedby the teacher that the media magic bag. The method in this study, using a method deskriptif the from of action research. While data collection  techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Based on the results of research conducted with the use of the media to recognize the concept of a magic bag of numbers 1-10 by 73,33 %, counting the number of geometric shapes (triangle, square and rectangle) by 80 % and counting the number of colors (red, yellow, orange, green ang blue) by 73,33 %.   Keywords: Mathematical Logic Intelligence, Media Magic Bag

Abstract

Abstract The aims of this study was to determine whether there was a significant difference of environment-caring  attitudes between students who was taught by using problem-based learning model and conventional methods, and also to determine the effect of problem based-learning model towards students’ environment-caring attitude in environment pollution lesson at SMPN 6 Pontianak. This research was a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The sample study of this research was 32 students from class VII A as control class and 35 students from class VII C as experiment class that were determined by using cluster random sampling technique. The tool of data collection was a questionnaire of environmental attitude using likert scale. The questionnaire was analyzed using Independent Samples T-test with α = 5%. The results showed that there was a significant difference in environment-caring attitude between students taught by using problem based learning model and conventional method (0.000 <0,05). Problem based learning model gave 29.1% effect on improving students’ environment-caring attitude. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Environment-Caring Attitude, Environment Pollution

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa menggunakan metode demonstrasi di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Kendawangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian yakni penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukan dikelas III, dengan jumlah 23 siswa. Berdasarkan siklus I diperoleh rata-rata nilai kemampuan berbicara siswa sebesar 86,30. Pada siklus I masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan yaitu pada waktu mengajar guru kurang menghasilkan pesan yang menarik, guru juga kurang merespon positif partisipasi siswa yang berakibat 3 orang siswa tidak mencapai batas kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Pada siklus II dilakukan perbaikan sesuai hasil refleksi siklus I dan diperoleh rata-rata nilai kemampuan berbicara siswa sebesar 91,57, semua siswa telah mencapai bahkan melebihi batas kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 5,27. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Berbicara, Demonstrasi, Bahasa Indonesia   Abstract: The aim of this study was to describe the improvement of students' speaking skills using demonstrations in class III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Kendawangan. The method used is descriptive research forms the classroom action research. The study was conducted in class III, the number of 23 students. Based on the first cycle obtained by the average value of their speaking ability by 86,30. In the first cycle there are still some shortcomings, namely the lack of teachers teaching time produces an interesting message, the teacher also less positively respond to student participation resulting 3 students did not reach the limit of minimum completeness criteria. In the second cycle to be improved according to the results obtained by reflection of the first cycle and the average value of 91,57 students' speaking abilities, all students have reached and even exceeded the limits of a minimum completeness criteria. Abstract

Abstrak:Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan media konkret di kelas II. Masalah umum dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah dengan menggunakan media konkret pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Anjongan?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan media konkret di kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Anjongan.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Dengan menggunakan media konkret ternyata dapat meningkatkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Anjongan yaitu pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 65,77 sedangkan pada siklus II dengan rata-rata 91,54, terdapat selisih 25,77. Dengan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 24,22. Dari data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media konkret dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II pada pembelajaran IPA. . Kata Kunci:media konkret, hasil belajar IPA Abstract: Improving student learning outcomes in science learning using concrete media in class II. A common problem in this study is whether to use concrete media in the Natural Sciences learning can improve student learning outcomes in the class II Elementary School District 07 Anjongan?. The purpose of this study is to describe on improving student learning outcomes in the Natural Sciences learning using concrete media in class II Elementary School District 07 Anjongan. The method used in this research is descriptive method. By using concrete media was found to improve student learning outcomes acquisition of class II Elementary School District 07 Anjongan that in the first cycle with an average of 65.77, while in the second cycle with an average of 91.54, there is a difference of 25.77. With the increase of the cycle I to cycle II of 24.22. From the data obtained shows that the use of concrete media to improve student learning outcomes in science teaching second grade. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk pembelajaran. Adapun produk yang dikembangkan adalah berupa media film. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang berfokus pada kawasan pengembangan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan media film bertujuan sebagai pemecahan solusi masalah pembelajaran PKn materi belajar harga diri dalam membentuk karakter harga diri pebelajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Desain pembelajaran PKn dengan menggunakan media film. (2) Profil storyboard memuat rangkaian dasar media film pembelajaran PKn untuk membentuk karakter harga diri yang sudah melalui uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. (3) Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran PKn menggunakan media film untuk membentuk karakter harga diri dan dilaksanakan sesuai dengan perencaan dari desain pembelajaran. (4) Perilaku belajar  pebelajar menunjukan bahwa pengembangan media film pembelajaran PKn menunjukan peningkatan kinerja pebelajar dengan penilaian tuntas.   Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, media film, karakter.   Abstrac: The purpose of this research is to develop a learning product. The product develop is a film media. Using descriptive research method with qualitative approach that focuses on regional development. This research developing film media used for a good solution  to matter learn self respect of civics problem learning to building a character self respect of students. The result of this research: (1) instructional design citizenship using  film media. (2) storyboard profil forming basic pattern in the movie media for civic learning. (3) the realization of learn civics used movie media for building character self-respect  and it was implemented with the planned of design learning. (4) student learning behavior show that film media learning civics development has increase its learner’s ability who passed out the scoring. Keywords: Development, film media, characters.

AbstractKensiwi Kameswari, 2020. Forms of Presentment of the Art of Dhikr Nazam Music in Sentebang Village, Jawai District, Sambas Regency. A Thesis. Performing Arts Education Study Program, Department of Language and Art Education. University of Tanjungpura Pontianak. Supervisor I: Dr. Imam Ghozali, M.Pd.; Supervisor II: Chiristianly Yery Silaban, M.Sn. This research is driven by the uniqueness of the form of presentation of the Nazam dhikr, which is the movement of the rumba musicians while dancing and the typical Sambas Songket cloth (gold thread fabric) worn by the musicians. This study mainly discusses the form of presentation of Nazam dhikr music art in Sentebang Village, Jawai District, Sambas Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive in the form of qualitative research using an inductive descriptive approach. Data sources in this study are the local public figures and practitioners. The data in this study are in the form of descriptions and audiovisuals about the music of the Nazam dhikr and were validated using triangulation and extension of observation. The findings showed that the Nazam dhikr is presented using several attributes such as the stage, makeup, fashion, sound system, lighting, formation, and order of presentation. The order of presentation consists of opening by pronouncing ta'awudh basmalah, reading ila hadrotin mustofa, reading the surah al-Fatihah, reciting the Prophet's prayer, and closing by reading prayers. The formation consists of the players inside the house or outside which is usually housed in a tent called Tarub. From the results of this study, the researcher hoped that the young generation of Sentebang Village, Jawai District, and Sambas Regency will get to know and preserve the art culture of their local area.Keywords: Form of Presentment, Nazam dhikr, Sambas, Sentebang Village.

Abstract

Abstract The title of this research is analysis of the use outstanding scholarship fund to the student of economic education study programin Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Tanjungpura University, with the problem is how the student of economic education study program use the outstanding scholarship fund? The aim of this research is to know how the student of economic education study program use the outstanding scholarship fund. This research used descriptive methodology, in qualitative research. The sample of this research are seven students of economic education study program who receive the PPA scholarship. The result of this research is the use of PPA scholarship is still not optimal for their academics need. They use the fund for their personal needs, such as buy the new bag, clothes, shoes and smartphone which the cost are greater than their academics need, such as printing their task, photocopy and buy the stationery for their college need.
