Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine and describe mathematical habits of mind strategies in solving problems of students with high and low mathematical abilities on the material of three variable linear equation systems in Senior High School 7 Pontianak. The research method used in this research is descriptive with a case study research form. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 in Senior High School 7 Pontianak and the interview subjects were two students with high math ability and two subjects with low math ability. The results showed that students with high mathematical abilities meet all components of mathematical habits of mind strategies, namely exploring mathematical ideas, generalizing, reflecting on the correctness of answers, identifying problem solving strategies that can be applied to broader problems, making questions and making examples. Students with low mathematical abilities meet three components of mathematical habits of mind strategies, namely generalizing, identifying problem solving strategies that can be applied to broader problems, and making questions.Keywords : Mathematical Habits Of Mind, Analysis, Problem Solving

Abstract

The explosion of information in the information and digital era requires every human being to have mastery of information literacy to select and use the information correctly and wisely. This study aims to determine the information literacy of prospective early childhood teacher students in the fourth year. The research design used a longitudinal survey with a sample size of 90 students from different academic years. The analysis results were carried out descriptively to determine the average value of student information literacy to be further categorized according to the level of information literacy. The results showed that the average information literacy score of PIAUD students in the fourth year was still not optimal, which was still in the range of 49 to 62 out of 100. Regarding the achievement of indicators, students had good abilities in evaluating information and sources critically and combining data.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of parents socioeconomic status on students learning motivation in economics class XI IIS at SMA N 1 Sungai Kakap. This study uses quantitative methods. Sources of data in this study were students of class XI IIS SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap with a sample of 64 people. Data collection techniques used consisted of questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained from the respondents questionnaire results were then tested for validity, reliability, analysis prerequisite test using normality test and linearity test, then hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis and t test. From the regression results obtained equation Y = 50.684+0.275 X. Hypothesis testing with t test obtained tcount 2.054 and ttable 1.998 which means t count > t table which means there is a positive and significant influence between the two variables and the results of the relationship between people's socioeconomic status are obtained. old with learning motivation of 0.252 and the amount of R² (Square) is 0.064 or 6.4%. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between the socio-economic status of parents on the learning motivation of students in the economics subject of class XI IIS SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap.Keyword: Socioeconomic Status, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Absract In the learning process. every students will face some difficulties. One of the difficulties happened in the teaching learning process is when the students read some vocabularies. The students just read the vocbularies, but the students did not know how to pronounce in the first tone, second tone, third tone and fourth tone. Infact, there are some students did not khow about it. The fourth tone in mandarin language is the importent thing when the students want to pronounce a word or a sentence. This reseach is aim was to know can the body language method imporov students’ ability in differentiating of fourth tone in mandarin language.The researcher analyzed the result of observation toward the use of body language method to imporov students’ ability in differentiating of fourth tone in mandarin language. The sample of this research was the tenth grade marketing 2 students and the tenth grade accounting 1 students of SMK Kristen Immanuel II. The observation showed that the use of body language method can imporov the students’ ability in differentiating of fourth tonein mandarin language. This research proved that body language method is suitable to use in the teaching learning process. Key word: Body language method,Differentiating ability, Fourt tone of mandarin

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in increasing the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Bruder Nusa Indah Pontianak. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were group B2 teachers at the Kindergarten of Bruder Nusa Indah Pontianak. The research location is at Bruder Nusa Indah Kindergarten, Pontianak. The research technique used in this research is observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that: 1. The teacher's role as a motivator in increasing children's independence, namely the teacher always gives enthusiasm and motivation when doing activities by himself and the teacher gives praise for what the children have done, 2. The teacher's role as an innovator in increasing children's independence, namely the teacher making game-based learning media, 3. The role of the teacher as an evaluator in increasing the independence of children, namely the teacher in charge of supervising, assessing and observing every student's development related to the teaching and learning process

Abstract

AbstractDescription of symbols and meanings of healing spells in the Padang Tikar Village Community in Kubu Raya Regency. The method used is descriptive. The form of this research is qualitative. The symbol and meaning of the data in this study is a healing spell in the Padang Tikar Village which was spoken by an informant in the Padang Tikar Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The technique of collecting data by means of observation techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques and recording techniques. Based on the data as a whole, the symbols and meanings of medicinal spells in the Padang Tikar village community in Kubu Raya Regency consist of 20 symbols. This research is related to the 2013 curriculum for Indonesian language subjects in grade VII SMP odd semesters which is suggested as a reference for old poetry text material (mantra) for teaching and learning activities in schools. Keywords: symbols and meanings, semiotics, medicinal spells.

Abstract

The Pontianak Malay community has a culture that is still maintained, namely the procession between goods in the Pontianak Malay traditional wedding. In this case, the research focuses on rhyme speech in Pontianak Malay traditional marriages through acoustic phonetic studies. The problem in this study includes aspects of frequency and duration of rhyme speech in Pontianak Malay traditional marriages. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method and uses an acoustic phonetic study approach as an analytical study tool. The source of the data in this study was taken from the video recording of the marriage between Reza Okta Indriyandi, S.Kom and Emmy Rustianty, S.Sos. Data retrieval using documentation techniques with data collection tools, namely voice recorders, laptops, gadgets, and stationery. This research succeeded in getting 17 rhymes with a total of 68 target sentences. The final result of the data processing of this research is presented into tables and figures using the praat application as a data analysis tool. The data were analyzed based on their acoustic characteristics, namely frequency and duration. This research is expected to be documented so that it contributes to linguistic literature in phonology, especially regional languages.

Abstract

 AbstractThe research were to determine the intensity of the emloyment of social media within the students of the Economic Education Study Program of University  Tanjungpura, the consumptive behavior of the scholars of the Economic Education Study Program of the University of Tanjungpura, and  the influence of the intensity of the employment of social media on the consumptive behavior of the scholars of the Economic Education Study Program of the University of Tanjungpura. This study used a quantitative approach to causativ forms. The population was students of standard Economic Education Study Program A with a sample 65 students and uses a form. The results showed: That the intensity social media use of Regular Economics science Education Student A was categorised as high with a share of 65.2%. The level of consumptive behavior of standard Economic science Education Student A was categorised as high with a share of 69.60%. The coefficient of determination of 0.215 indicateed that the intensity of the use of social media has an effect of 21.5% on student consumptive behavior and the remaining 78.5% is influenced by other variables. Keywords: Consumptive Behavior, Intensity of Use, Social Media

Abstract

The aimed of this research were to understand how the implementation of Google Classroom Based Sociology for Class X IIS students at SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. Qualitative research method with in-depth interview design was adopted as research design. Data collection techniques were used in interviews and documentation. Five samples were selected by purposive samping. They were two lowest grade students, two highest grade students and a Sociology teacher. According to data analysis, there was a results of this research indicate that the Implementation of Sociology Learning in Planning, Implementation and Learning Outcomes based on Google Classroom has been carried out effectively and efficiently. Meanwhile face-to-face learning was more accurate and visible, whereas online learning has an instant result. In conclusion, the Implementation of Sociology Learning in Planning, Implementation and Learning Outcomes based on Google Classroom has provided an adequate result.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to produce a product in the form of a validated powerpoint-based learning media. The research method used is research anddevelopment (R&D) by adapting the Borg and Gall design developmentmodel. The data sources of this research are the results of observations,interviews, expert validation, student responses, and documentationduring the use of powerpoint-based learning media. Data collectiontechniques in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires.The results showed that the powerpoint-based learning media developmentprocess had gone through 7 research steps, namely potential andproblems, data collection, product design, product validation, revision,trial, and final product revision. The feasibility level of the developedlearning media is very good in terms of design and material aspects withan average value of 3.76 and 3.77, and the results of product trials arevery good with an average value of 3.58.Keywords: Development, Microsoft Powerpoint-based Learning Media
