Abstract

The results of the 2022 Service Team questionnaire survey at Posyandu Kemuning 1A Sukamakmur Ciomas Village require regular heart checks, so far the midwife uses a stethoscope and the data is stored using a manual book so that it is inconvenient for patients to do pregnancy control per month. The main purpose of pregnancy checks is to keep the pregnancy healthy, monitor the growth and development of the fetus so that it is detected as early as possible abnormalities of the fetus and pregnant women, so it is necessary to transfer knowledge through socialization activities and mentoring of heart check health training. The outputs produced in this activity are the use of science and technology technology for the community including the use of heart medical records for checking heart disease and research results, optimizing community services, and helping to create peace and comfort in the community and helping to facilitate early heart checks. This activity also resulted in publications in community service journals, articles in several electronic publication media, activity videos, product IPR. This community service implements IKU 2, namely students gaining experience outside the campus and IKU 3 where lecturers carry out activities outside the campus and IKU 5, namely the work of lecturers is used by the community.

Abstract

This training aims to improve students' skills through the utilization of manalagi mango pulp as a basic ingredient for making healthy dumplings to become a superior product for students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung. The activity was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung with a participatory approach. The methods used included observation, implementation in the form of socialization and training, and evaluation in the form of pretests and posttests. Students were taught how to process mango manalagi into healthy dumpling filling that is nutritious and adds economic value. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' skills in the dumpling production process as well as knowledge about dumpling nutrition. Student response was very positive, with 85% of participants showing interest in improving their understanding of processing fruit pulp into nutritious and healthy dumplings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Qur'an learning assistance program using snake and ladder game media in LPQ Keblukan Village, Kaloran District, Temanggung Regency. This assistance was held to increase the understanding of the Qur'an and tajweed for LPQ students in Keblukan Village. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The researcher will collect qualitative data on existing mentoring practices, as well as contextual factors that affect Qur'an learning in the area.The Qur'an learning assistance program with the Iqra method and snake and ladder game media at LPQ Keblukan Village has proven to be effective in improving the ability to read and understand the Qur'an in children. This activity lasted for 2 weeks and involved students of the Community Service Lecture (KPM) of the University of Qur'an Sciences (UNSIQ). The results of the evaluation showed that this program succeeded in increasing children's learning motivation and participation in learning the Qur'an. Therefore, this program can be an example of the development of an effective and attractive Qur'an literacy program for children.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one sector that can have a major economic impact on every village community. One of the villages that uses the tourism sector to revive its village economy is Janti Village with one of its leading tourist attractions, Janti Park. The main challenge for the Janti Park tourist attraction is the branding and digital marketing process which is less than optimal, resulting in less than optimal number of visitors. The community service team solved the partner's problem in three main stages: the branding stage, the training stage, and the mentoring stage. The branding stage produces logos, print designs, and merchandise. The training stage partners gain expertise in photography, videography, promotional content creation, application of SEO techniques, and optimization of paid advertising. The mentoring stage produces content for each social media increasing to 32 content, the number of content views on Instagram increases above 3000 views, and the number of content views on TikTok increases above 5000 views.

Abstract

Good fetal growth and development from the mother's womb can give birth to a generation that is healthy, intelligent, and of good character. Good fetal growth is influenced by several factors, namely: Good eating habits, hormonal factors and the environment around the fetus. One way to maximize the process of fetal growth in the womb is that the mother must play an active role in making efforts so that the baby grows actively when born later. one of them is to take advantage of fetal stimulation in the womb with a music sound player system for the fetus. Based on the 2023 questionnaire, there is a request from the community for the community service team to hold socialization and training on healthy heart and fetal development using the research results of the Lecturer which can be implemented in the 2024 community service program to implement the Fetal Music Instrumental Tool to Help Fetal Growth in the Womb of Pregnant Women at Posyandu Kemuning 1A Sukamakmur Village, Ciomas. This community service implements IKU 2, namely students gaining experience outside campus and IKU 3 where lecturers carry out activities outside campus and IKU 5, namely the work of lecturers is used by the community. In addition, this activity produces HAKI products, videos of activities, articles in various electronic media, and publications in community service journals.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) frequently encounter numerous challenges, including the incorporation of nutrition fact labels and product packaging—this community service aimed to facilitate the creation of nutrition fact labels and new packaging for MSME products. The partner of this program was CV Eka Pratama Sejahtera in Cirebon Regency, focusing on cassava chip products. This program included observation, problem identification, activity implementation, and evaluation. Observations and problem identification indicated a necessity for new flavor varieties, nutritional fact labels, and updated packaging for cassava chip products. The results showed that CV Eka Pratama Sejahtera provided positive feedback during this assistance program. This program successfully generated a nutrition facts table for a new flavor variant of cassava chips using the BPOM format. Additionally, this program developed a new packaging design for the product. The result of this program was the redesigned packaging, which included nutritional information for the latest flavor variants of cassava chip products at CV Eka Pratama Sejahtera.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have encouraged the utilization of artificial intelligence, especially machine learning, in various sectors, including property price analysis. However, there are still many people who do not understand the basic concepts of this technology, so structured and applicable education is needed. To answer this challenge, an activity entitled “Utilization of Machine Learning for Property Price Segmentation and Prediction” was held which aimed to introduce and train participants in the application of machine learning to predict property prices. This activity consists of two main parts, namely webinars and workshops. The webinar focused on introducing the concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and AI Project Cycle as the main method in analyzing house prices. Meanwhile, the workshop provided hands-on training to participants in building prediction models using Google Colab. This activity was carried out through a series of stages, starting from socialization, preparation of materials, pre-test to measure initial understanding, educational and practical sessions, to evaluation through post-test and filling in participant feedback. A total of 39 participants from various backgrounds participated in this activity. The evaluation showed that 38.7% of participants were satisfied, while 51.6% were very satisfied with the program. In addition, the post-test results showed a significant increase in understanding compared to the pre-test results. Based on these results, this activity proved to be successful in providing new insights into the application of machine learning in property price prediction and equipping participants with practical skills that can be applied in the real world.

Abstract

Storytelling is an activity that channels talents and interests in the art of speech. This service aims to provide storytelling training to improve teachers’ teaching creativity. The method used in this service is the lecture and discussion method with the author's active participation and simulation approach. Ten participants became the subject of this service, namely five kindergarten teachers, three family planning teachers, and two education staffs at Al-Chasanah kindergarten. Moreover, 60 kindergarten students participated in the storytelling simulation. The results of this training activity include; (1) The teacher's ability to deliver storytelling using puppet media, books, and recycled materials; (2) The teacher's ability to understand storytelling techniques. In this case, the teacher is able to distinguish between storytelling techniques with text and without text; (3) Knowledge of benefits in activities, among others. All in all, this service is found to enhance kindergarten teachers’ creativity through storytelling.

Abstract

The aging process is a natural process accompanied by a decline in physical, psychological, and social conditions that interact with each other. This condition tends to pose health problems for the elderly. The increasing tendency of pathological conditions in the elderly leads to increased medication consumption, thereby enlarging the risk of drugs related problems (DRPs), including side effects, drug interactions, or toxic reactions. The problems found are inappropriate drug use and a lack of understanding of how to use, store, and dispose of medicines correctly. Additionally, other issues include the inappropriate use of antibiotics among the elderly, caused by a lack of understanding and incorrect behavior in medication use. The purpose of this service is to socialize with the elderly about self-medication. The method used is counseling directed at the elderly. The results obtained from this service show that the elderly became more careful in self-medication.

Abstract

The purpose of the Economic Care Day 2024 program at SMK Negeri 1 Merangin is to foster student leadership, creativity, teamwork, and sociopreneurship. Utilizing several interactive training sessions, practical exercises, and realistic business simulations, this program seeks to equip students to become creative and socially conscious entrepreneurs. Four major areas are the program's focus: The first is Leadership Development, which teaches students how to make decisions, solve problems, and manage a team; the second is Creativity Enhancement, which promotes creative thinking and solution-based entrepreneurship; the third is Collaboration Training, which stresses teamwork and good communication; and the fourth is Sociopreneurship Education, which introduces the idea of business models that put profit and social.  Economic Care Day 2024 reaches 146 students as participants aim to equip students with strong social entrepreneurship knowledge, enhanced leadership, teamwork abilities, and an expanded entrepreneurial attitude. Through experiential learning, workshops, case studies, and mentorship, students are equipped to contribute to their communities and the global economy
