Abstract

Teachers have a wide opportunity to develop teaching modules according to their needs, student characteristics and regional characteristics.  However, the reality in the field has not fully run as it should. It can be seen from the teaching modules used that there is no connection with local wisdom found in the area where education is carried out. For this reason, a training is needed through teacher empowerment, especially elementary school teachers in Siak Regency who have high potential to be able to develop teaching modules based on local wisdom. This service program aims to improve teachers' pedagogical competence in making teaching modules based on local wisdom in Siak. The service was carried out to teachers of SDN 004 Buatan II, Koto Gasib District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this service is the participatory method, which involves the community as a subject in development. Abstract

To determine the success of the education program, high-quality test instruments are necessary, namely those that are valid, reliable, have a sufficiently good level of difficulty, and can differentiate between the learning outcomes of proficient and non-proficient students. Ideally, these questions should be prepared by economics teachers. In reality, however, many teachers generally do not know how to prepare good questions. This is closely related to teachers' activities, which have been primarily focused on meeting learning targets alone. This is the source of the problem because teachers are rarely given the opportunity to prepare high-quality questions. To address this issue, this Professional Development Program (PPM) is implemented. The main target of the activity is teachers from Vocational High School 6 in Jambi City, with a total of 20 participants. The expected outcome of the training is that participants can compose questions that meet quality standards. The training results show that the average knowledge score of participants regarding item analysis before the training is 61.50, and after the training, it increases to an average score of 80. This indicates an increase in knowledge scores by 30.08%. In general, participants are now able to manually conduct item analysis effectively, but some still face difficulties in analyzing question validity, reliability, and distractor analysis.

Abstract

Aur Sati Village is one of the newly formed communities in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Some administrative tasks, such as archive management, can improve village government services to the community. Village archives are currently stored manually and need to use digital archiving methods. Digital archive management can be used as a storage place for documents and can help overcome the lack of computer equipment owned by village officials. This program aims to increase the knowledge of village administrators regarding digital archive management (e-filing). The implementation of the e-filing program for Aur Sati Village officials is very useful in carrying out their administrative duties. There are three steps to the program: planning, implementation and success assessment. A survey with local leaders was part of the preparation step. An initial presentation, pre-test, and training on digital records management (e-filing) were conducted during the implementation phase using an app scanner, Google Drive, and Google Sheets. Village governments were given a post-test questionnaire to measure their skills during the evaluation phase. As a result, village governments showed a good understanding of e-filing and its management. Based on the post-test evaluation, most village officials and administrative staff in Aur Sati Village are able to digitally archive official letters (e-filing) and reduce the possibility of losing archives in the future.
