Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain alat pemberi makan hewan otomatis berbasis Arduino. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Arduino Mega 2560, Kabel USB arduino, sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04, Load Cell, Motor Servo Pro M6995, RTC, solder, gunting, Breadboard, lem tembak, dan Module Bluetooth HC-06. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu LED Warna, Resistor 220 ohm, Kapasitor, Baterai, Kayu Borneo 8x1 cm, Paku Kayu 3 cm, Paku Kayu 7 cm, Cat kayu dan Lem kayu. Desain alat ini akan dibuat dalam bentuk fisiknya yang mampu digunakan untuk memberi makan hewan secara otomatis dengan bantuan Arduino dan teknologi sensor

Abstract

On vision examination, it was found that the correction results R / L S -4.00 C -1.50 X 180 (VA ODS = 1/18) there was a sharp increase in vision. This contrast sensitivity to 10% means that the patient's contrast sensitivity decreases. The result of the diagnosis is that the patient is a slow learner with myopia accompanied by nystagmus.  This research method is with a qualitative approach to the casus study.The management is given the latest prescription glasses and give non-optical tools such as frozen low vision, hats / sunglass, markers, lamps, and others. Advice to parents of patients to be evaluated by an ophthalmologist and routinely check vision at the Low Vision Clinic, the use of glasses is always worn, and gadgets are used not while lying down and reduced the time limit for playing gadgets. Changing a healthy lifestyle such as often seeing green scenery, taking vitamin A, vegetables, fruit, when learning to give bright lighting, healthy activities.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology, electrical energy is much needed in everyday life, not only as a light that illuminates the streets of the city at night but also a driver of economic, social and cultural strength. The making of this tool aims to find out the location of the breaking point (not flowing induction current) which is not electrified on the conductor/cable by using an LED lamp and an active buzzer as a pointer indicator. By making this tool, it is expected to facilitate the work and installation of other electrical installations and improve safety at work. By using qualitative and quantitative methods characterized by the success of making this tool. The next step is the measurement of the noise level generated by the active buzzer and presented in the form of (x) and (y) tables, meanwhile (x) and (y) comparison graphs to fulfill the quantitative method. The attachment of the principles of electrical physics to each other is what can be utilized to make other simple tools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengetahui kinerja contactless thermometer menggunakan Arduino nano dan sensor MLX90614 dalam mengukur suhu tubuh manusia. Perancangan alat ini menggunakan alat dan bahan seperti Aduino nano, sensor MLX90614, sensor APDS 9960, LCD OLED Display 128×32, buzzer, TP4056 battery charging module, baterai 18650 coil gear, saklar on off, kabel jumper. Kemudian untuk kebutuhan perangkat lunak menggunakan Arduino IDE. Prinsip kerja dari contactless thermometer ini Thermometer  MLX90614  mendeteksi  suhu  dengan  memancarkan sinar inframerah terhadap objek yang dituju dan menghasilkan output berupa  sinyal analog. Data  yang  didapat  dari  sensor  diolah  oleh  Arduino  Nano  untuk  menghasilkan  output berupa suhu dalam besaran Celcius lalu data hasil pembacaan akan ditampilkan melalui LCD OLED Display. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model kuantitatif eksperiman. Termometer ini layak untuk digunakan karena dapat bekerja dengan baik di mana rata-rata error yang dihasilkan tidak lebih dari 1% yaitu 0,6% dari 5 orang yang diuji.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model on the understanding of the physics concept of class VIII students of SMP Islam Ibnu Majah Bording School Bekasi. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the sample class is normally distributed and has a homogeneous variance. The results of the hypothesis test were obtained using the one-sided t test with a t_count value = 6.33 and a large t_table value at a significant level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = 38, the value of t_table = 1.69 was obtained. So that the data obtained t_count>t_table = 6.33 > 1.69, it can be concluded that the NHT type cooperative learning model can increase students' understanding of physics concepts in class VIII Islamic Middle School Ibnu Majah Boarding School Bekasi.

Abstract

One of the few sound phenomena is the beat. The concept of beat is very important to be study because its applies to daily life, but in teaching and learning activities most teachers are still in a conventional model theoretical-based, of course only give abstract knowledge to learners. On the other hand, the learning concept of wave must involve representations all (audio visual, graphical, mathematical, symbolic, and verbal). There have been many published papers on similar experiments. However, we continue to gather experiments using traditional musical instruments as a source of sound and free software tracker. Therefore, in this paper we will describe a conceptual teaching innovation by presenting a step by step how to do that using Sundanese flute from West Java (Indonesia) and Adobe audition 1.5, as well as examples of its application to determining the frequency of traditional musical instruments which is identical by the concept of beat, so it can be an interesting method to do in classroom.

Abstract

Learning about straight motion can be observed in everyday life. The condition of students in the research school where some SMK students find it difficult to understand how to observe objects moving or going so fast, and do not know how to determine the right time. This research is the application of learning using arduino-based infrared sensor media to measure the speed of GLB-GLBB straight motion. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of media in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is a pre- experimental Data was obtained using 10 number critical thinking essay questions, the results of the pretest and posttest will be converted using a critical thinking instrument grid with 4 criteria, namely: Analyzing skills, synthesizing skills, problem solving skills and concluding skills.  Critical thinking criteria data were analyzed using the percentage formula to see the percentage level of student skills increase. As for the hypothesis test analysis, the Paired Two Sample for Means t test or paired test was used. The average pretest = 60.9 and the average posttest = 81.8. Critical thinking skills data analysis results from 4 criteria: (1) analyzing skills at pretest = 58.9% and at posttest = 75%; (2) synthesizing skills at pretest = 60.7% and posttest = 85.7%; (3) problem solving skills at pretest = 66.1% and posttest = 76.8% and (4) conclusion skills at pretest = 55.4% and posttest = 83.9%. While the significance test of the analysis results is t-statistic = 7.42 and t-table two-tail = 2.02 so that overall it can be concluded that the use of infrared sensor media based on arduino measuring the speed of GLB-GLBB straight motion can affect and improve the critical thinking skills of SMK students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of physics learning modules based on Discovery Learning on Electricity and to determine student responses to the modules that have been developed. The research method used is the R&D (Research and Development) method. The results of this study obtained an average final validation test score of 88% in the "Very feasible" category. After conducting a small-scale test on 10 students and getting an average student response score of 3.5 or 87.50% in the "good" category

Abstract

The PBL or Problem Based Learning learning model with the STEM approach can be used to enhance student learning activities. Because the learning process with the PBL learning model with the STEM approach is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study uses the literature review method by collecting data from previous researchers. This study uses a literature review taken from 25 journals published in the last 5 years and indexed by Sinta or National Proceedings, namely Sinta 1 to Sinta 5. The results of this study indicate that students can improve their critical thinking skills and researchers use many samples from class X for their research, the physics material that is widely used by researchers is the physics of work and energy. While the constraints of the researchers are limited time and lack of time management, research conducted by researchers is carried out online as a result of being constrained by the internet network, requiring participation, courage and self-confidence of students. The results of this study are expected to help teachers apply the PBL learning model with the STEM approach in class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Problem-based learning model in physics learning on the critical thinking skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bamban. This study uses a problem-based learning model and refers to indicators of critical thinking skills. The design used in this study was two group pretest-posttest. The research sample was 60 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the t-test. The results showed that through the application of the problem-based learning model, the results of data analysis of students' critical thinking skills were in the very good category with an average score of 81.67% in the experimental class and in the control class the results of data analysis of students' critical thinking abilities were in the good category with an average score of 70.74%. So it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model can affect students' critical thinking skills.
