Abstract

Pengembangan maharah al-kalam atau keterampilan berbicara menjadi salah satu fokus penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, karena keterampilan ini memungkinkan siswa untuk berkomunikasi secara efektif dan berpartisipasi dalam percakapan nyata. Pengajaran maharah al-kalam membutuhkan instrumen evaluasi yang akurat dan sesuai, untuk mengukur kemampuan berbicara secara menyeluruh, Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk mencapai maharah al-Kalam yang baik dalam bahasa arab, guru perlu memperhatikan target serta faktor-faktor yang mendukung untuk mengembangkan keterampilan siswa dalam berbicara, begitupun memperhatikan tingkatan soal dengan baik serta kendala-kendala yang terjadi pada proses pengembangan, ketika semua telah terlaksana maka bisa terlihat hasil dari pengembangan tersebut dan kemudian menjadi bahan evaluasi. The development of maharah al-kalam or speaking skills becomes one of the important focuses in Arabic language learning, as this skill enables students to communicate effectively and participate in real conversations. Teaching maharah al-kalam requires accurate and appropriate evaluation instruments, to measure speaking skills as a whole, The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study show that to achieve good maharah al-kalam in Arabic, teachers need to pay attention to targets and factors that support developing students' skills in speaking, as well as paying attention to the level of questions with good and the obstacles that occur in the development process, when all has been done, the results of the development can be seen and then become evaluation material.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di pesantren menghadapi tantangan signifikan akibat keberagaman tingkat kemampuan santri. Kondisi ini menuntut penerapan metode pengajaran yang mampu mengakomodasi perbedaan tersebut. Pendekatan diferensiasi menjadi salah satu alternatif solusi dengan menyesuaikan materi, proses, dan evaluasi pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan individu siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk menganalisis teori dan praktik pendekatan diferensiasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, serta mengeksplorasi relevansi dan penerapannya di lingkungan pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan diferensiasi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan santri, khususnya dalam empat maharah utama (istima’, kalam, qira’ah, kitabah). Namun, implementasinya di pesantren menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, beban kerja guru, dan kurangnya pelatihan profesional. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dan mendukung implementasi pendekatan ini secara berkelanjutan di pesantren.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam menemukan pembelajaran yang menarik dan signifikan sesuai era digital dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi bahasa Arab mahasiswa melalui pendekatan connectivisme. Dengan merumuskan dan menyusun bahan ajar berbasis literasi visual untuk mendukung pencapaian tujuan pengajaran maharah kalam yang ingin dicapai dapat berjalan secara sistematis. Metode kualitatif serta model analisis Spradley digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan 78 koresponden di Universitas Islam. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Pendekatan connectivism pembelajaran daring dipandang sebagai penghubung antara pendidik dan mahasiswa karena memudahkan dalam berbagi ilmu dengan bahan ajar digital yang mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar sehingga terjalin hubungan yang erat melalui Internet of things (IoT). Keberagaman dalam pendekatan konektivisme memandang bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya maharah kalam terasa unik dan bermanfaat bagi semua kalangan, hal ini dikarenakan fitur-fitur yang ditampilkan dalam media bahan ajar digital literasi visual telah dibuat oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah menjadi sangat menarik dan mudah diakses pada website. This research is intended to contribute to finding interesting and significant learning according to the digital era in developing students' Arabic literacy skills through the connectivism approach. By formulating and compiling visual literacy-based teaching materials to support the achievement of maharah kalam teaching objectives to be achieved can run systematically. Qualitative methods as well as Spradley's analysis model were used in this study with 78 correspondents in Islamic University. The results stated that the Connectivism Approach of online learning is seen as a connection between educators and students because it makes it easier to share knowledge with digital teaching materials that support teaching and learning activities so that there is a close relationship through the Internet of things (IoT). Diversity in the connectivism approach views that learning Arabic, especially maharah kalam, feels unique and useful for all groups, this is because the features displayed in the visual literacy digital teaching material media have been made by the lecturer in charge of the course very interesting and easy to access on the website

Abstract

The Qur'an is a holy book that covers various topics, including discussions about animals. Animals, like humans, are creatures of Allah who occupy their respective positions in the Qur'an. This study is important because it reveals the deep meanings of the mention of various types of animals in the Qur'an through a semantic approach, as well as exploring the educational values ​​(qiyam tarbawiyyah) contained therein. These values ​​can be the basis for forming noble character and morals. This study aims to explore the lexical meaning, contextual meaning, and educational values ​​contained in some of the animals mentioned in the Qur'an. This study uses a semantic analysis method with a qualitative approach, which focuses on the analysis of word meaning and the study of the content of messages in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The results of the study show that several animals, such as bees, ants, spiders, frogs, lions, and dogs, have symbolic meanings that can provide valuable lessons. The characters of these animals convey educational values ​​that can be ibrah (lessons) for humans or as reminders and reprimands. The novelty of this research is that it studies animals in the Qur'an not only from the perspective of stories or biological facts, but also from the perspective of the symbolic meanings and educational values ​​they contain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for an Imla Exercise book based on Bloom's cognitive classification because the exercises in the textbooks were not enough, and the lack of diversity of the exercises, and the imla rules and errors in writing among students. Researchers used a qualitative and quantitative approach, a development approach, the method used was the ADDIE method in the preparation of the Imla Exercise book, and the sources and data came from interviews and questionnaires, analysis with data collection, classification, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the preparation of the exercise book was carried out through several stages. First, a student needs analysis was conducted to identify aspects that needed to be improved. Second, the exercise book was designed according to the results of the analysis. Third, the development stage was carried out by applying the previously planned design. Fourth, the book was evaluated by experts. Finally, revisions were made based on the suggestions given by the experts before the final product was declared valid. The validity of the brochure was measured by the percentage of the three expert evaluations: 92.2% and from the Likert classification scale shows that the product is at an excellent level, which can be used without modification.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to examine digital technology that can be used in Arabic language learning evaluation. The research method employed is a literature review by analyzing relevant scientific articles from indexed journals. The findings reveal that several digital technology, such as Edmodo, Quizizz, Google Forms, Kahoot, Plickers, and Thatquiz, possess unique features that support the learning evaluation process. The use of digital technology has been proven to improve time efficiency, accessibility for students, and learning motivation through an interactive approach. Additionally, the integration of digital technology in evaluation enables personalized learning, resource efficiency, long-term data management, and the development of digital skills for both students and educators. The implications of this study indicate that integrating digital technology into the evaluation of Arabic language learning can enhance teaching quality and responsiveness to students' needs. The main contribution of this research is to provide educators with a guide for selecting and implementing appropriate digital evaluation technologies.

Abstract

Grammar learning is very close to literary works. Unfortunately, the use of short stories as learning media is still rare. This research aims to develop short story-based Arabic syntax learning media. The method used in this research is development research using Thiagarajan's 4D model. This study involved 30 students at the Department of Arabic Language Education, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta, who were taken by purposive sampling. The research instruments used were documents and questionnaires. At the same time, the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results showed that based on the analysis of the current needs, it is necessary to develop Arabic syntax learning media that encourages students to learn actively and is packaged in fictional story literary work. Based on the experts' assessment results, the developed short story can be used as a learning medium for material, presentation, and language.

Abstract

Maharah Qira'ah learning often faces technical challenges, such as difficulties in vocabulary comprehension and text reading. This can be caused by a lack of innovation in the use of learning media and engaging approaches. This research aims to develop Maharah Qira'ah learning media based on Edutainment with the assistance of Socrative to create a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience, thereby increasing students' interest and reading skills. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) model Borg and Gall, including needs analysis, planning, product development, expert validation, trial, and refinement. Through a student needs questionnaire with a percentage of 72.997%, it was stated that students needed the development of new media and approaches. The results of media expert validation showed a percentage of 90% (very feasible), and material expert validation showed a percentage of 91.42% (very feasible). This proves that the Socrative media developed with an Edutainment approach is very feasible to be used as Maharah Qira'ah learning media at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. The implication of this research is the creation of innovative learning media that can enhance students' abilities and interest in Maharah Qira'ah learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of interactive assessment models in Arabic language learning and their impact on evaluation effectiveness and students’ language skill improvement. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used in several educational institutions that have adopted interactive assessments. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The assessment models examined include online quizzes, game-based tests, interactive discussions, and project-based assessments utilizing digital platforms such as Google Forms, Kahoot!, Quizizz, and iSpring Suite. The findings indicate that interactive assessments enhance students' learning motivation, engagement, and material comprehension. Additionally, this model reduces test anxiety and fosters the development of critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. As an implication, educational institutions should integrate interactive assessments into the curriculum to create a more effective, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experience for students

Abstract

The Arabic language teaching curriculum plays a significant role in enhancing students’ proficiency and language skills. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Mulazamah method in Arabic language instruction at the Salman Al-Farisi Institute, an institution known for employing this traditional approach in teaching Sharia sciences, including Arabic. The researcher adopted a qualitative approach using analytical descriptive methods, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the Mulazamah method—rooted in the traditional practice of students accompanying their teachers closely—is characterized by continuous companionship and progressive learning, conducted book by book and stage by stage. The curriculum is divided into two phases:Basic stage: Durus al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah by Dr. V. Abdur Rahim. Post-basic stage: Grammar books such as Al-Muqaddimah al-Ājurrūmiyyah, At-Tuhfah as-Saniyyah, Mutammimah al-Ājurrūmiyyah, and Ad-Durrah al-Bahiyyah, as well as morphology books like Al-Amtsilah at-Tasrīfiyyah and As-Sarf aṣ-Ṣaghīr. However, a major challenge in applying this method lies in the absence of a unified teaching strategy among instructors. Each teacher applies the method according to their own pedagogical judgment. This study may serve as a reference for educational policy improvement and further research into the effectiveness of traditional methods in Arabic language teaching.
