Abstract

The existence of technology in the world of education is a very important need. As time goes by, technology is developing rapidly along with the intelligence and creativity of the generation that will be the successor of the nation in the future. Therefore, students must also be able to develop technology in learning such as ChatGPT. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of ChatGPT in learning in college as a medium that can help lectures. The method used in this research is quantitative method, data obtained through online questionnaire distribution. The results found that there are various impacts such as ChatGPT can make it easier for students to do some of their assignments, however, socially the interaction and communication between students and lecturers will be reduced, because in the world of education what is needed is not only grades, but also the process that makes it clear that ChatGPT can be beneficial because it can help with assignments, but on the other hand, there is a lack of communication between lecturers and students. The limitation of this study is that researchers only conducted research on some students in higher education so that the data obtained is less relevant. Penliti hopes that future researchers can conduct more in-depth research. This research also recommends ChatGPT in college.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technology is something that is indispensable and even used every day, both in long-distance activities, education, work, socialization, and even entertainment such as playing online games, not even a few children who see negative video channels on social media. So the fact is that currently social media does have a big influence on a person's life, both negative and positive impacts. One of them is for children aged 6-12 years. At school, children also prefer to play social media rather than interact and play with children their age. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of social media on the learning process of children aged 6-12 years. This research uses quantitative methods, data used through online interviews and distributing questionnaires through the use of google froom. The results of this study explain that social media is very influential on children's learning both at school and children's learning at home. So that children's time in learning becomes less effective because they are too busy playing social media, due to lack of supervision from parents. The conclusion from the results of this study explains that the impact of social media on the learning process of children aged 6-12 years is very influential on the child's learning process. The limitation of this study is that researchers only conducted research in one school in the Batanng anai sub-district of West Sumatra province. Researchers hope that this research process can be useful for readers and other parties. this study also recommends that other studies make references related to the impact of social media on the learning process of children 6-12 years.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and information makes human life easier, but at the same time it makes some humans lack morals and behave badly due to lack of socialization. Behind all the bad impacts on the development of technology, there are also positive impacts in it, such as in the field of education. One of the positive impacts is ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a Source and Media for Modern 21st Century Learning in Elementary Schools. This research uses quantitative methods, data obtained from distributing questionnaires and through interviews. The results of the study explain that the usefulness of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a source and modern learning media in elementary school children is very useful and helps students in carrying out learning. The conclusion of this study explains the usefulness of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a source and modern learning media in elementary school children is very helpful in the learning process. The researcher realizes the limitations of this study were only conducted in elementary schools in one of the districts in West Sumatra province, the researcher hopes that future researchers can conduct the same research with a wider range in order to continue this research. Researchers also recommend to researchers who will continue to be a benchmark in conducting research related to the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a modern learning resource and media in elementary schools.

Abstract

Currently English is an international language that makes it easy to use it to be able to communicate between each other. This study aims to provide an overview of the use of social media as a medium of learning English to improve pronunciation or pronunciation, using the TikTok application as a learning medium. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods on 10 6th semester students majoring in English at Mahmud Yunus Islamic State University Batusangkaryang who have used the TikTok application. In collecting data, researchers used in-depth interviews with participants to explore information about TikTok as a learning media in improving pronunciation. From the interview, the researcher analyzed each answer from the respondent and the researcher found that the use of TikTok as a learning medium could improve the respondent's pronunciation or fluency in speaking English. Based on the results that researchers get, most students state that the TikTok application can improve their pronunciation skills and TikTok can be used as a learning media for pronunciation in English because it has many benefits and is effective in helping students and lecturers in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

The current pandemic situation, which requires the learning process to be carried out from home online, makes it a challenge to learn Arabic. Initially, this policy was very much accepted by learners and educators with excitement. However, the reality is that this policy makes the learning process difficult to implement optimally. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting all data sources. Data source collection is carried out by interviewing teachers and students and documentation. Qualitative studies are carried out to analyze the problems faced by students and offer several possible recommendations to improve the quality of teaching Arabic as a foreign language based on student perceptions, taking into account the social context experienced during the learning process of the 2020-2021 academic year. The purpose of this research is to find problems that are being faced by students and educators in Islamic boarding schools during the pandemic and find the right solution to solve the problem so that the right strategy can be found for learning Arabic during this pandemic for a number of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Learning media is the main supporting factor that is needed to support the learning process, especially at this time which requires educators to design learning media as an innovation using online media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of telegram as an online learning media and how important the telegram application is as an online learning media tool. Therefore, the teaching and learning process at this time really needs learning media in order to achieve good learning objectives and for the birth of a new generation that is more innovative and creative. Learning media at this time is very much including the telegram application, this telegram application is a technology application in the form of a chat feature that can be used as a learning media in online learning that can be used either via smartphone or desktop. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a literature approach related to the topic discussed. The results of this study explain how the effectiveness of the telegram application as an online learning media.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the most important parts that affects the success of the student learning process. The selection and utilization of appropriate and interesting media will have a positive impact on the success of student learning. However, the utilization of learning media, especially those based on information and communication technology for learning Arabic, is still not widely found and is rarely done. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of using kahoot media at State Senior High School 4 Jakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative method with survey technique using questionnaire instrument, 10th grade students of State Senior High School 4 Jakarta totaling 50 people as subjects in this study. This research technique aims to determine whether kahoot media has an effect on Arabic language skills by using kahoot media through cellphones. This learning is done using a cellphone because material from printed books has been used as a source by educators. Teachers are expected to be able to utilizing learning media as a means of supporting teaching and learning activities to create interactive learning for students so as to improve students' ability to understand lessons delivered by an educator which will affect learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the use of learning media games for students can be applied in the learning process and for further researchers can use this learning media in Arabic subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of the Canva application as an effort to increase students' interest in learning Arabic. This research uses a library research method. The sources of this literature are journals and books similar to this research. One of the learning developments can be in the form of e-modules. And this can be done using the Canva app. The Canva application is one of the online applications that can be free or paid. This application can also be used to design learning media with several interesting templates, the presentation of shapes, images, colors, and letters also has many variations. How to use this application is to create a Canva account, design, choose a background, edit the background, add text, and lastly, download or share text. By using this Canva application, students can create more interesting Arabic teaching materials. Therefore, through e-modules, Arabic subjects are interesting so that they can strengthen students' learning interest in distance learning and also not boring

Abstract

The problem that researchers get in organizations to improve Arabic skills is the lack of students who speak Arabic actively in the Institut Agama Islam Negeri Batusangkar campus environment. Where students still do not understand the rules in Arabic, especially in terms of mufradat, therefore researchers deliberately raise this as a problem in the current Institut Agama Islam Negeri Batusangkar student organization to improve student achievement and skills in Arabic. In this organization, researchers made the environment on campus into an Arabic-language environment which the organization calls Khimah Araby. Then every week, precisely on Friday morning, the student organization carries out a work program called Ihya’ul Araby. This article aims to develop b?’ahlughawiyyah conducted by the student association of the Arab Education Department of the Batusankar Islamic Institute. This research focussed on the bi’ah lughawiyyah model in terms of the purpose of bi’ah lughawiyyah, the form of activity, and the learning model of bi’ah lughawiyyah. This survey’s method is qualitative and uses the Google Forms method (questionnaire). Data analysis is carried out by questionnaire analysis. The result of this study shows that the b?’ah lughawiyyah development model is based on language learning objectives and curriculum objectives. The forms of activity are making learning modules, Nahwu Sharaf learning, Bia’ah Lughawiyyah, Ilq?’Mufrad?t, Muhadatsah, Monthly Insha’, Language Learning, Rihlah Lughawiyyah, Arts and Competitions (PARBARA). Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has grown and spread in various countries, changing various areas of people's lives, especially in Indonesia, some time back. The purpose of this observation is to find out the use of smartphones for students of Junior High School madrasahwhen studying online. This observation is through a quantitative approach through the survey study method and selecting a random sample by establishing10 speakers who live in dormitories, namely Junior High School grade 7 students who have obtained questionnaire answers using google from. The research tool is adapted from several writings. The tool is made from 5 questions. The observation results found that there were seven people who had their own smartphones and three students used the smartphones of their parents, siblings and other people in online learning, while the time used to study through smartphones was between 5 to 6 hours. The students of Junior High School use smartphones are classified as a good category in learning because they can do and collect tasks well. So students discussed it with their friends, and all felt satisfied with using smartphones in online learning activities. Saran for the next researcher to use the variables of attitude and the impact of using smartphones for Junior High School students who have their own smartphones
