Abstract

There have been many studies on customer relationship management, but those focusing on the history behind success are still minimal. This research aims to uncover customer relationship management in fostering the loyalty of Hotel X, West Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The Bandung area, which includes Subang, has recently become a more popular tourist destination due to the construction of numerous nearby hotels. However, the rivalry is now more fierce than it was previously. In order to compare the topic under investigation with the actual conditions at Hotel X at West Bandung Regency, the researcher conducted a literature analysis on Customer Relationship Management and spoke with five managers about it. The three programs the researcher determined impacted CRM were the Partnering Program, Continuity Marketing, and One-to-One Marketing. The researcher has examined the program and connected it to theory through primary research employing qualitative approaches. While nearly every program has been implemented, Hotel X at the West Bandung Regency did not adopt a branding program, according to the results of the interview session. It is recommended that hotels conduct shortterm market and competitor research. As technology advances, so does the environment.

Abstract

Traffic congestion in Ubud, Bali, is a significant issue affecting both the quality of tourist experiences and the daily lives of residents. The Teman Bus program, a public transportation initiative, is expected to alleviate congestion by providing a more efficient mass transit alternative. However, the program's implementation faces challenges, particularly regarding the bus sizes that are unsuitable for Ubud's narrow roads, as well as criticism from local residents who feel its contribution to reducing congestion has been minimal. This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Teman Bus program on traffic congestion in Ubud from the perspectives of local residents and tourists. Data were collected through surveys and interviews with Ubud residents and tourists who use the Teman Bus service. The findings indicate that while Teman Bus has the potential to reduce congestion, its effectiveness is limited by the mismatch between bus sizes and road conditions, as well as the lack of awareness and information about the service. Recommendations include the use of smaller buses, improvements to routes and schedules, and enhanced outreach to both local communities and tourists. The study concludes that achieving the goal of reducing congestion requires adjustments to the implementation of the Teman Bus program to better align with the needs of Ubud's local and tourism sectors.

Abstract

Abstract

Not many tourist villages in Indonesia have achieved the classification of independent tourist villages (desa wisata mandiri) as stated in the Tourism Village Guidelines published by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia (2021) which oversees tourism and village affairs. Global Gotong Royong (G2R) Tetrapreneur as a sustainable entrepreneurial model concept for creating independence and authority towards global iconic products can be an acceleration towards an independent tourist village. This conceptual paper wants to offer an acceleration concept that can be carried out by the management of the Karangasem Tourism Village in Bantul Yogyakarta by implementing the four pillars of Tetrapreneur, namely Chainpreneur, Marketpreneur, Qualitypreneur, and Brandpreneur to become an independent tourist village with its global iconic product, namely bamboo crafts, which are the mainstay product of the community. The findings can also be applied to other tourist villages in Indonesia to expedite their transformation into independent tourism villages.
