Abstract

This research raised the topic of the mandatory program to be able to read the Quran and its impact on the morale of USK students. This research was conducted based on the fact that there are still a number of USK students who cannot read the Quran. In addition, there were also some obstacles for USK students in reading the Quran, it seems that they have not understood the correct makhraj letters and laws in tajwid. Therefore, the university of Shia Kuala (USK), organizes a program, namely UP3AI (the unit of development of a companion program for Islamic religious courses). This program, it can help students in reading the Quran. This program must be followed by all USK students as a condition of taking Islamic courses. The UP3AI program aims to form a generation that is Qurani and has a charitable character. This method uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of the student's research are that they have not been able to read the Quran properly. This program has not been implemented effectively, due to factors of lack of discipline, especially time, communication in teaching and learning is not good, and some mentors have not mastered the material and are said to be effective, namely the learning process between mentors and students has gone well, this can be seen in terms of the teaching and learning process, the time used is good, the methods used can be understood by students and techniques in teaching well. The success rate has not reached well due to the decline in the ability to not be able to read the Quran decreased quality of Quranic teaching in both mosques and Musalla, no stable teaching methods, limited hours of Quranic teaching, the elimination of teaching curricula, the influence of television shows and others. The implementation of the Quran reading program does not experience moral changes for students, but by practicing the Quran students will form good morals.

Abstract

Natural disasters such as droughts occur gradually and last until the start of the rainy season. Meteorological drought happens when a region experiences periods of below-average rainfall, resulting in lower water availability in the soil compared to its needs. The Tangsi Sub-Watershed traverses the districts of Kajoran, Salaman, Kaliangkrik, Borobudur, and Tempuran. It is part of the Progo Watershed, which is under the administrative boundary of Magelang Regency. The variation in climate and the landforms of the Tangsi Sub-Watershed, which are dominated by materials that are less permeable to water, make this area prone to drought. This research analyzes meteorological drought in the Tangsi Sub-Watershed, Magelang Regency by using the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) and Drought Hazard Index (DHI). The analysis from quarterly SPI from 1994 to 2023 indicates that the Tangsi Sub-Watershed experienced a medium drought hazard level with a score of 14. The Tangsi Sub-Watershed experienced extreme drought events at 2.22%, high drought at 3.89%, and moderate drought at 6.94%. Long-term drought risk analysis can be used by communities and governments to plan and implement mitigation measures ahead of time by revealing patterns and intensities of recurrent droughts.

Abstract

One of the regions in Indonesia with a relatively high risk of landslides is West Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Given its active land use and dense population, this area becomes more vulnerable to the impacts of natural disasters. The objective of this research was to identify the elements and contributing causes of landslide vulnerability, especially for West Bandung Regency's tourism sector. The robust vulnerability scenarios were generated by using Spatial Multi-Criteria Evaluation (SMCE). Four scenarios of equal vulnerability, social vulnerability (SV), physical vulnerability (PV), and environmental vulnerability (EV) are produced using the SMCE technique. According to the scenario results, three districts, Rongga, Cipatat, and Parongpong, show dynamic vulnerability, whilst the remaining districts show consistent classes. The quantity of visitors and physical infrastructure, such as access to the road, are examples of social elements that significantly impact the degree of vulnerability. The study's findings led to the creation of three vulnerability classes in West Bandung Regency: low class, with values between 1.34 and 1.78, medium class, with values between 1.79 and 2.07; and high class, with values between 2.08 and 2.36. The photo-tagged map of road access and tourist destinations in West Bandung Regency provides in-depth insight into the factors that influence the vulnerability of tourist destinations, taking into account disaster risks due to geographical conditions, infrastructure readiness, and the effectiveness of mitigation efforts in balancing tourism development and environmental resilience.

Abstract

In an article, it is explained, `Izzah is an attribute of Allah SWT. Only Allah is the true Owner of `Izzah. `Someone can own Izzah according to their approach to Allah; someone close to Him is Rasulullah and Mukminin. On the other hand, there are several phrases of 'Izzah whose meanings are different from the original meaning, namely glory. This study aims to open a broader understanding and knowledge by understanding the meaning of the phrase 'Izzah, ' which is considered odd in its meaning other than glory. This study uses the Qur'anic semantic method developed by Toshihiko Isutzu, with the primary source being the verses of 'Izzah in the Qur'an and the secondary sources in the form of books, dictionaries, journals, theses, articles, and other supporting materials. According to Izutsu, the semantics of the Qur'an are an attempt to reveal the worldview of the Qur'an (Weltanschauung) through semantic analysis of vocabulary or key terms in the Qur'an. The process carried out in this study is to examine the basic meaning and relational meaning of the phrase 'Izzah with syntagmatic and paradigmatic analysis, then examine the phrase in the pre-Qur'anic, Qur'anic, and post-Qur'anic periods. This study concludes that the word 'Izzah has a basic meaning of nobility, self-esteem, strength, and might. From syntagmatic analysis, the meaning of 'Izzah' has five meanings: nobility, arrogance, strength, firmness, and greatness. The diachronic analysis explains three histories: 1) pre-Quranic, the word 'Izzah has the meaning of nobility that is based on something and remains a good trait. 2) In the Qur'anic, the word 'Izzah has eight meanings: protector, arrogance, strength, power, nobility, might, honor, and being tough. 3) post-Qur'anic, the word Izzah means noble and becomes one with Iffah, which means the highest morals that Muslim women must possess.

Abstract

Memorizing method using lauhah media Has often been applied in various African continent countries such as Sudan, Mauritania, Morocco, and others, of course, this method has shown its success, it can be seen that many students become huffadzul Quran produced through the lauhah or blackboard method, of course, this is the reason for the compiler to create a similar method which will later be adjusted to the conditions of students in Indonesia in its application, especially in educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools and elementary schools to universities. This method uses a method board media, which will later be replaced with a special book to make it easier, the purpose of the book is to write the verses to be memorized, after the student writes, he will memorize the verse, after being memorized the student closes the book and submits the memorization to the ustaz or teacher, so it can be concluded that this method combines the ability to write and the ability to memorize, so that the student's memorization is very mutqin or strong. In the findings of the results of this learning method, we have found many students who are in khalwah (Islamic boarding schools)2 in Sudan, the students in their khalwah can memorize the Quran with very good quality, both in terms of reading and memorization strength, there is even a student who cannot see or is blind, but with his sincerity in studying and memorizing the Quran with the lauhah method applied, Alhamdulillah managed to memorize the thirty chapters of the Quran. Of course, something similar is something we can achieve. So with this lauhah method, it is hoped that it can be a solution for students to make it easier to memorize the Quran. However, apart from the method, teachers are also a very important element of success in achieving targets, with good guidance and support and the right facilities and methods, it will produce huffadzul Qur'an.

Through daily interactions, the transmission of values, and the formation of family norms, adolescents internalize and develop their own identity. Factors such as family communication, parental involvement, and the formation of emotional bonds play an important role in shaping the psychological well-being of adolescents. Furthermore, this research emphasizes the importance of harmony between the values taught at home and the values applied in society. This balance plays an important role in helping teenagers overcome social pressures and develop strong personalities. These findings in practice mean the need to strengthen the role of family education through parent support programs and the development of family communication skills.
