Abstract

Tourism plays an important role in driving economic growth, but it also has the potential to cause negative impacts on the environment if it is not accompanied by green behavior awareness. Bhuana Jaya Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, has great potential to be developed as a sustainable green tourism village, but faces the challenge of low public awareness of environmentally friendly behavior. This outreach activity aims to increase community awareness and understanding, particularly among the PKK and POKDARWIS groups, regarding the application of green behavior in daily life and in the management of tourism villages. The methods used were outreach and interactive discussions held on September 3 and 14, 2025, accompanied by evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, with an average increase of 71% in the PKK group and 56.92% in the POKDARWIS group. The active participation of participants in the discussion and their emotional and cognitive involvement during the activity further strengthened the effectiveness of the socialization method. This activity confirms that the implementation of green behavior not only supports environmental sustainability but also serves as a strategic foundation for the development of sustainable green tourism villages.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the competence of junior high school Indonesian language teachers in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for developing learning assessment instruments. In the era of digital transformation, teachers are required to produce assessment tools that are aligned with the curriculum, promote Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), and can be developed efficiently. However, teachers often encounter challenges in creating varied, innovative, and high-quality test items within limited time constraints. The training was conducted using a participatory approach involving concept dissemination, hands-on practice with AI (ChatGPT), simulation of item construction, and reflective evaluation sessions. The results show that participants were enthusiastic and actively engaged in using AI, producing more diverse test items, although unstable internet connections were noted as a technical limitation. The novelty of this activity lies in the integration of AI technology into the design of Indonesian language evaluation instruments, thereby strengthening teachers’ digital literacy and supporting the digital transformation of education in the region. The implications include opportunities for further collaboration in curriculum development, AI-based item bank creation, and broader technology integration in teaching practices.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology underscores the importance of teachers’ ability to adapt and integrate digital tools into the learning process. To ensure the effective implementation of such technological adaptation in schools, continuous support and mentoring from educational partners are essential. This community service activity aimed to train teachers at SDN 205 Jambi in creating educational games using Wordwall, a web-based application that offers various engaging game templates. The training was conducted through several stages: material presentation, trial of educational games, hands-on practice in designing Wordwall-based games, and subsequent evaluation and reflection. As a result of this program, teachers successfully developed a range of educational games relevant to their classroom subjects. The level of teacher satisfaction with the training was evaluated using a quantitative approach through a Likert-scale questionnaire covering four dimensions: training content, facilitators, facilities and media, and overall satisfaction. The results revealed that teachers reported a very high level of satisfaction across all aspects of the training. The relevance of the training materials achieved an average score of 4,48 (very high category), while the facilitator quality received an average score of 4,49 (very high category). The facilities and instructional media were rated 4.46, also classified as very high. The final indicator, overall satisfaction, achieved an average score of 4,59, placing it firmly within the very high category. These findings highlight the importance of continuous, technology-oriented professional development programs to strengthen elementary school teachers’ digital competencies and support the integration of innovative learning tools in the classroom.

Abstract

The posyandu program evaluation was conducted in RW 04 and 05, Ancol Subdistrict. This program aimed to assess whether the implementation of posyandu activities met established standards, as well as to gather community feedback to improve participation. It also sought to examine the relationship between posyandu attendance frequency, exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months, and knowledge of complementary feeding (MPASI) with the growth of infants and toddlers in the area. The evaluation was carried out through direct observation and interviews with both posyandu cadres and participants. The findings indicated that the implementation of posyandu in RW 04 and 05 generally met the standards; however, feedback highlighted issues related to infrastructure, queuing systems, and variation of counseling materials. Furthermore, the data revealed that many parents tend to bring their children to posyandu only when growth problems are suspected, and that mothers’ knowledge of complementary feeding does not always align with their actual practices.

Abstract

Perkembangan digitalisasi membawa perubahan sentral pada segala aspek, khususnya bidang pendidikan. Hal ini ditandai dengan pengintegrasian cyber pedagogy dalam pembelajaran. Namun, fakta di sekolah menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru mengalami kendala dalam pengembangan media ajar digital berbasis cyber pedagogy. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu pemberdayaan guru dalam pengintegrasian cyber pedagogy. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan secara offline dan online. Peserta pelatihan adalah 28 guru jenjang sekolah dasar/sederajat di Kota Malang. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket terhadap para peserta pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta pelatihan mendapatkan pemahaman dan terampil menggunakan software atau aplikasi teknologi seperti Liveworksheets, Lumi Education, Google Site, Microsite s.id, dan MagicSchool AI. Aplikasi/software tersebut digunakan oleh peserta untuk mengembangkan LKPD, game, situs/web, dan asesmen. Hasil evaluasi angket menunjukkan respons positif peserta pelatihan, yaitu sebesar 85,92% peserta menyatakan penyampaian materi oleh narasumber sangat jelas atau jelas dan sebesar 88,28% menyatakan materi pelatihan sangat relevan atau relevan.

Abstract

The National Teacher Olympiad (OGN) is a prestigious event that aims to improve teacher competence, especially in the field of mathematics, through mastery of pedagogy, learning innovation, and the application of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). However, junior and senior high school teachers in Malang Regency still face obstacles in the form of limited access to training, lack of professional community, and low literacy in learning technology. This service program was carried out at Islamic Boarding School and SMA Sumber Putih, Malang Regency, with the aim of strengthening teacher competence through strategies to strengthen positive mindsets, increase motivation, and interactive training based on Higher Order Thinking Skills. The implementation method includes educational workshops, motivational sessions, group discussions, preparation of learning modules, and reflection to measure the effectiveness of the program. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' mental readiness in facing the National Teachers' Olympiad, strengthening the understanding of Higher Order Thinking Skills in mathematics learning, and improving technological skills in the learning process. In addition, training modules are arranged as outputs that can be used continuously. This program contributes to improving the professionalism of teachers, encouraging participation in OGN, and building an innovative and competitive education ecosystem in Malang Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman, pengalaman, tantangan, dan kesiapan guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sains yang berdaya saing global melalui lokakarya Hybrid Deep Learning dan STEM Project-Based Learning (STEM-PjBL). Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian tindakan partisipatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 29 guru sains dari MGMP di Muaro Jambi, Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan observasi sebelum, selama, dan setelah lokakarya, dan dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa guru umumnya memiliki pengetahuan terbatas tentang pembelajaran mendalam dan hybrid deep learning, pengalaman minimal dalam menerapkan STEM-PjBL, dan menghadapi tantangan signifikan seperti fasilitas terbatas, kompetensi pedagogis yang tidak memadai, dan kurangnya dukungan kelembagaan. Terlepas dari keterbatasan ini, sebagian besar guru menunjukkan kesiapan dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi berbasis AI dan pendekatan berbasis proyek ke dalam praktik mengajar mereka, dengan syarat mereka diberikan bimbingan intensif dan pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan. Kebaruan program ini terletak pada integrasi Pembelajaran Mendalam Hibrida dengan STEM-PjBL sebagai model untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis teknologi. Implikasinya menyoroti pentingnya pelatihan profesional berkelanjutan, dukungan institusional, dan kemitraan kolaboratif untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi pedagogi berbasis AI dan berbasis proyek dalam pendidikan sains.

Abstract

The disruptive era, characterized by the acceleration of digital technology innovation, has brought profound transformations to various aspects of life, including the loss of a number of traditional jobs, the widening of the digital divide, and the emergence of ethical challenges in the use of technology. This situation is a serious concern, especially among students in Sungai Duren Village, whose parents mostly work in the agriculture and fisheries sectors, resulting in limited capacity to guide their children in dealing with digital dynamics. The goal of this community service program is to strengthen students' digital literacy through workshops designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge to address the negative impacts of digitalization, such as exposure to hoaxes, gadget addiction, and decreased social interaction. The implementation method consisted of two stages: first, interactive delivery of material through lectures, discussions, and simulations; and second, the introduction and distribution of Digital Literacy Cards as visual aids containing reflective messages to encourage a balance between digital and real life. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' awareness and skills in sorting information, managing gadget use, and fostering creativity based on non-digital activities. This program not only improved students' digital literacy but also provided them with practical strategies to face the challenges of the disruptive era in a more critical, creative, and responsible manner.

Abstract

his study aims to improve the competence of junior high school teachers. Bullying in elementary schools is a serious problem that requires comprehensive and systematic handling. This community service program aims to implement a stop bullying program at SDN Rengasdengklok Selatan III, Karawang Regency, through interactive counseling activities and the installation of anti-bullying campaign posters. The methods used included interactive lectures, educational video screenings, group discussions, and singing activities with the theme of stopping bullying. The target of the activity was 18 fifth-grade students who were actively involved in the program during three meetings. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the definition, types, and effects of bullying, as well as the creation of collective awareness to prevent bullying in the school environment. This program produced anti-bullying posters that were displayed in various corners of the school as visual reminders for the entire school community.

Abstract

UMKM play a vital role in a regional economy. However, many MSMEs in Payakumbuh City still face significant obstacles, particularly in terms of business legality, characterized by low levels of Business Identification Number (NIB). This situation hinders competitiveness, banking access, and business development opportunities. This community service activity aims to strengthen the legality of MSMEs through education and technical assistance. The method used is a participatory and collaborative approach, involving three main stages: a Business Law Education Workshop, an UMKM Legal Clinic (direct assistance in obtaining a NIB through the Online Single Submission/OSS system), and a Collaborative Discussion with local stakeholders. The results of the activity showed significant improvements, with 11 participants successfully obtaining a NIB and an increase in legal understanding that encouraged independent legal registration. This success proves that technical obstacles and lack of understanding can be overcome with appropriate assistance, resulting in an effective community-based legal assistance model. Thus, this legal strengthening contributes significantly to increasing the administrative capacity and competitiveness of UMKM in Payakumbuh.
