Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the types of expressive speech acts carried out by the characters in the web series How Much Progress? (2) describe the function of expressive speech acts in the web series How Much Progress? and (3) describe its relevance to fantasy story learning in junior high schools. This study uses a qualitative method with the research subjects being the web series How Much Progress? and the form of data in the form of speech from the dialogue in the web series How Much Progress? In addition, the data collection procedure uses the listening and note-taking method. The data analysis used is the analysis of the content of speech in the web series How Much Progress? dialogue and the data validity checking technique carried out using triangulation and member check techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) regarding its form, expressive speech acts contained in the web series How Much Progress? consist of 4 forms of speech, namely the type of direct literal speech act, the type of direct non-literal speech act, the type of indirect literal speech act, and the type of indirect non-literal speech act. (2) regarding the function of expressive speech acts in the web series How Much Progress? consists of 6 functions, namely thanking, apologizing, praising, complaining, sympathizing, and expressing anger. The results of the study are relevant to fantasy story learning in junior high schools, students can identify characters and characterizations in web series What is the percentage of progress?

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the types of reduplication in the novel Rintik Terakhir by Sri Puji Hartini, (2) the meaning of reduplication in the novel Rintik Terakhir by Sri Puji Hartini, (3) its implications for learning Indonesian in vocational schools. The study uses a qualitative approach with a type of data analysis technique. The data source in this study is the novel Rintik Terakhir by Sri Puji Hartini. The data in it are types of reduplication and the meaning of reduplication. The results of this study indicate the use of types of reduplication and the meaning of reduplication in the novel Rintik Terakhir by Sri Puji Hartini. The types of reduplication refer to pure reduplication (14 data), sound change reduplication (8 data) and affixed reduplication (19 data) found in the novel. The meaning of reduplication refers to the reduplication of noun repetition in the form of variation/many reduplication (8 data), reduplication of verb repetition in the form of reduplication stating repeated work (4 data), and reduplication of adjective repetition in the form of intensity reduplication (3 data). This research is implied in learning Indonesian in SMK.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the use of block media can affect the cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years at Al-Anwar Sumber Sari Kindergarten. The background of this study is based on the fact that most children in the school still have difficulty in recognizing shapes, colors, numbers, to arranging patterns and solving simple problems. Block media was chosen because it is considered capable of stimulating children's thinking power through fun and meaningful play activities. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that block media had a significant impact on children's cognitive development. Children become more active, focused, and able to think more logically and systematically. In addition, through the activity of arranging and grouping blocks, children are also trained to work together and learn to solve problems creatively. Where the use of block media has proven effective in helping to improve children's cognitive aspects, especially in recognizing shapes, colors, numbers, and logical thinking skills. This media is also suitable for schools that have limited facilities, because it can be made simply and remains attractive to children.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was purposes to understand the implementation of digitalization policies in the management of BOS funds with a focus on analyzing the digital system applied to detect fraud. The method used in this study is a literature study. The results of the study explain the potential for fraud in the management of BOS Funds in the digital era through a literature study. The results of the study show that although financial digitalization through systems such as ARKAS, SIAP BOS, and SIPLah have increased transparency and accountability, fraudulent practices still occur in the form of student data manipulation, fictitious procurement, and misuse of funds. The main factors causing this are weak internal supervision, limited human resources, and resistance to technology. Digital systems provide opportunities for real-time reporting and strong audit trails, but their implementation still faces technical and organizational culture challenges. This study emphasizes that the success of digitalization policies is highly dependent on strengthening human resource capacity, system integration, and cross-stakeholder collaboration. Thus, digitalization is an important strategy in minimizing the potential for fraud, but requires continuous strengthening to be effective as a whole. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam penerapan kebijakan digitalisasi dalampengelolaan dana BOS dengan fokus terhadap analisis sistem digital yang diterapkan untuk mendeteksi fraud. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan potensi fraud dalam pengelolaan Dana BOS di era digital melalui studi literatur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun digitalisasi keuangan melalui sistem seperti ARKAS, SIAP BOS, dan SIPLah telah meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas, praktik kecurangan masih terjadi dalam bentuk manipulasi data siswa, pengadaan fiktif, dan penyalahgunaan dana. Faktor utama penyebabnya adalah lemahnya pengawasan internal, keterbatasan SDM, dan resistensi terhadap teknologi. Sistem digital memberikan peluang pelaporan real-time dan jejak audit yang kuat, namun implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan teknis dan budaya organisasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan kebijakan digitalisasi sangat bergantung pada penguatan kapasitas SDM, integrasi sistem, dan kolaborasi lintas pemangku kepentingan. Dengan demikian, digitalisasi menjadi strategi penting dalam meminimalkan potensi fraud, namun memerlukan penguatan berkelanjutan agar efektif secara menyeluruh. Abstract

This study aims to examine the variation of slang used by millennials and Gen-Z on social media. Slang on social media has become an important phenomenon that influences everyday communication, especially on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp. The use of slang reflects a change in the way of communicating that is more creative and informal, and functions as a means of expressing digital identity. Acronyms, neologisms, and foreign word absorptions are the main forms of language variation used. On the one hand, this phenomenon contributes to linguistic creativity that enriches the Indonesian vocabulary. However, on the other hand, excessive use of slang can have an impact on the decline in the quality of formal language, which is important in the context of education and official communication. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation techniques on various social media platforms to identify and analyze the phenomenon of slang. The results of the study show that slang becomes a symbol of social identity, strengthens relationships between individuals, and creates an inclusive digital community.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of visual media in the form of images in supporting science learning, especially on material about the human respiratory system, in class V MI Al Hidayah Jember. The approach used a qualitative descriptive approach with direct observation techniques at the research site. The reason for utilizing image media is to introduce more interesting learning methods and help students understand the material more easily. This research focused on examining the extent to which picture media was able to increase students' enthusiasm and interest in learning. Data were acquired through a series of observations, conversations with teacher and documentation of student learning outcomes. A total of 25 students from class V were used as participants in this activity. The results showed that picture media was able to clarify the concept of respiratory organs, make it simper for pupils to recallr the contents of the lesson, and increase their activeness in the process of learning, Before using visual media, only 40% of students reached the KKM, but after its application, the figure increased to 84%. This finding shows that picture media is a very effective tool in helping students understand abstract science material.

Abstract

The use of picture media has proven to be effective in supporting the learning process. This study aims to enhance students’ understanding of the food chain concept through the use of visual media in science learning for fourth-grade students at MI Syirkah Salafiyah. Initial observations indicated that many students had difficulty grasping the concept due to its abstract nature and the limited use of visual aids during instruction. To address this issue, the study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over two cycles. The research involved 25 fourth-grade students as participants. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The findings showed that the application of picture media significantly improved students’ comprehension, as evidenced by the increase in average test scores across the cycles. Moreover, students appeared more engaged, enthusiastic, and better able to understand the food chain concept when supported by relevant visuals. Therefore, the use of image-based media adapted to the characteristics of elementary students is strongly recommended, especially for teaching complex science topics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) siswa kelas VII SMP N 1 Sigaluh Banjarnegara dan menguji efektivitas pemberian reward dan punishment dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar tersebut. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini meliputi bagaimana tingkat motivasi belajar PAI siswa kelas VII SMP N 1 Sigaluh Banjarnegara dan apakah pemberian reward dan punishment dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran PAI siswa di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan eksperimen quasi. Data motivasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan dampak reward dan punishment diukur melalui perbandingan hasil belajar dan observasi partisipasi siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian reward dan punishment kepada peserta didik dapat memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai tingkat motivasi belajar PAI siswa serta membuktikan strategi reward dan punishment efektif dalam mendorong peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran PAI. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi guru PAI dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan menarik guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Islamic education has a strategic mission to produce individuals who not only excel in science, but also have strong faith, noble morals, and the ability to adapt to global dynamics. The educational environment, as an ecosystem that shapes children’s development, is the main foundation in realizing this goal. This article aims to elaborate on the concept of the Islamic educational environment in depth, classify its types (prenatal, family, school, and community), and analyze formal, non-formal, and informal education pathways as mutually supportive approaches. With an interdisciplinary literature review approach, this article also explores the challenges of globalization, the impact of digital technologies, and opportunities to integrate Islamic education with 21st century skills. Case studies from various countries and strategic recommendations were presented to strengthen the implementation of Islamic education in a global context. This article emphasizes the importance of synergy between environments to produce a generation of Muslims who have integrity, are competitive, and are able to contribute positively in a multicultural society.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of extracurricular dance activities at Al-Akhyar Integrated Islamic Elementary School using the CIPP model. The results of this study determine that extracurricular dance activities at Al-Akhyar Integrated Islamic Elementary School have met the standards set in the national guidelines regarding the involvement and management of implementing personnel. The program has had a positive impact on students and the school, such as enhancing students' creativity, discipline, and self-confidence, as well as improving the school's image and reputation. However, this study also identified some weaknesses, such as a decrease in the number of participants after September and a lack of human resources involved in the extracurricular activities. Therefore, this study recommends several improvements, such as enhancing the promotion of extracurricular programs, improving the quality of instructors, and increasing parental involvement in extracurricular activities.
