Abstract

The sustainability of processed food in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of economic actors, one of which is the home industry. Mrs. Farida Azis is part of the business activists from the home industry business group in Denpasar. The purpose of the community service is to find out 3 aspects partner's problems, namely aspects of flavor diversification, production management, and marketing transformation. The method used in this activity are observations, existing partners, survey of production and support equipment, Distribution of production equipment and flavors, packaging and logo design, distribution/provision of new packaging and logos, marketing transformation. The results of this community service activity have produced solutions from the production management aspect in the form of additional equipment, namely a 3-tray aluminum type oven machine, and an idea life multi-speed Premium Quality Idea life mixer (IL221s). While in the aspect of flavor diversification there are additional variants of cheese, almond, Choco ball flavors. Partners are also supported in terms of marketing aspects which have been given a logo and packaging that includes the partner's identity and marketing transformation, namely from the creation of Instagram social media under the name Farida bake. Overall, all aspects that are an obstacle for partners have received solutions that suit the needs of partners. The activity went well and smoothly and there was hope from the partners that this activity would not only stop until the community service program was completed, but could continue to foster other MSMEs that needed assistance.

Abstract

Banyak orang menghabiskan waktu mereka di platform seperti Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, dan lainnya. Kafe dapat memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat pemasaran untuk menjangkau pelanggan potensial dan meningkatkan penjualan. Tujuannya untuk menganalisis dan mengimplementasikan media sosial sebagai strategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan omzet penjualan di Kafe Yatoreh Pondok Kuliner di Jabung Kota Baru. Metode Pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, data tentang preferensi konsumen, tren pemasaran digital, dan strategi media sosial yang efektif serta memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan promosi melalui media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan TikTok pada UMKM Kafe Yatoreh. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang preferensi konsumen terkait media sosial dan produk Kafe Yatoreh, serta memberikan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan omzet penjualan. Dengan menggunakan platform media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan lainnya, Kafe Yatoreh dapat mempromosikan produk mereka kepada calon pelanggan potensial di berbagai lokasi. Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan penetrasi internet yang tinggi di Indonesia memberikan peluang besar untuk pemasaran digital, termasuk digital marketing dan katalog digital melalui website.

Abstract

English Speech Training for elementary school children is a form of community service provided by Bumigora University. This community service activity was held for two months, from May 6, 2023, to June 30, 2023. The purpose of the community service program in the form of English speech training is to improve the public speaking skills of elementary school students in using English. There were some methods used, such as pre-test, early evaluation, orientation, drilling, and feedback. This program received tremendous enthusiasm from the students in the Kapitan environment; this can be seen from the enthusiasm and activeness of the students participating in this training activity. The outcomes of this training activity are an increase in the ability to pronounce words and sentences (pronunciation) and the confidence of the participants to speak or give speeches.

Abstract

The rate of early marriage in Indonesia is still high. In terms of region, West Nusa Tenggara is the province with the highest number of women who have entered into early marriage at 16.23%. Like adolescents who have the potential to marry early, the community, especially women who have already married early, also needs attention. This service activity aims to empower women who have entered into early marriage through Design, Entrepreneurship and Financial Training. This activity uses the Service-Learning method. This activity was carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of this activity show that the training can (1) increase participants' knowledge about the stages of designing product promotion media using the Canva application on cell phones, (2) increase digital entrepreneurship knowledge including formulating creative business ideas and advertising online on buying and selling platforms and (3) increase participants' knowledge regarding business financial management.

Abstract

The service program is one of the obligations of lecturers from the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education which must be carried out. Bumigora University service team has successfully carried out community service activities at RA ASH Shofa Wasalam. The results of this activity are to increase awareness of the importance of introducing the new 2022 currency by using 3d techniques to prevent the spread of counterfeit currency, the team provides outreach through playing and singing, delivering material through stories related to the introduction of the 2022 new currency issuance and 3d techniques to find out the authenticity of currency explained the benefits of 3d techniques for children in the future, and quizzes. Teaching the importance of the benefits of the 3d technique to distinguish fake and genuine currency can shape children's character, children will be more responsible for the money they have, introduce the value of money later, children will be able to distinguish between real and fake. An easy way to teach children to take care of themselves and not be quickly swayed by fraud that is rife.

Abstract

Adolescents are prone to nutritional problems, specific malnutrition problems such as anemia and overweight can also be experienced by adolescents. Nutritional problems in adolescents can occur due to bad eating patterns, this stems from a lack of knowledge about balanced nutrition among adolescents. The implementation of this community service was carried out with a pretest and posttest design regarding balanced nutritional knowledge of students, in addition to that, nutritional status assessments and nutritional consultations were also carried out for students as targets. To measure the success of the activity, the service team held a quiz pre- and post-test by answering questions, after which a nutrition consultation was carried out. From the pre-test results it was found that students' knowledge about hypertension in adolescents was still very low, while the post-test results showed an increase in students' knowledge about balanced nutrition. This community service shows that knowledge about balanced nutrition in adolescents can be increased through education about the importance of adolescents knowing the intake of good nutrition according to their needs and age.

Abstract

The development of small and medium enterprises in Lombok is growing along with the development of industrial technology and tourism in Lombok. Based on data on the number of MSMEs in NTB, the City of Mataram ranks first with the most MSMEs in NTB with a total of 22,473 as of July 2021. However, in general, MSMEs in the city of Mataram still face obstacles such as capital, licensing, raw materials, product marketing, financial management and innovation. Based on observations made by the Community Service Team at Bumigora University, out of a total of 100 MSMEs surveyed, capital was the biggest obstacle for MSMEs in developing their business with a percentage of 37%, financial management 30%, promotion 17%, raw materials 15% , and others 11%. Based on the observational data, an action is needed to overcome the problems of MSMEs and help develop the businesses of MSME actors in the city of Mataram. The Bumigora University Community Service Team tries to facilitate MSMEs in facing challenges, especially those related to financial management and advertising by conducting training for MSME actors. MSME training is packaged in the form of seminars accompanied by practice in making digital financial reports and advertising language as a follow-up to this training.

Abstract

Communication is very essential in human life, because without communication it is impossible for a human being to be able to live his life as a social being. Public speaker is someone who has the ability to influence people and convey interesting information in front of many people such as preachers or presenters in seminars. The success or failure of a public speaker is caused by how he can communicate all the information about what he conveys. The purpose of this training is to equip the methods used in IPNU/IPPNU cadre training so that they can improve public speaking skills. The output of this activity is to equip IPNU/IPPNU cadres to become cadres who have the ability in public speaking, as well as a forum for NU students and santri to gather to continue the spirit and values ​​of nahdliyin, as well as a forum for student and santri communication to raise ukhuwah Islamiyah and Islamic symbols. This training shows very good results in accordance with the specified achievement indicators.

Abstract

The city of Padang has great tourism potential and is part of the KSPN. Therefore, community service activities aim to prepare the tourism management community. The method used in strengthening community capacity is contextual teaching and learning (TCL) to connect material with real conditions that exist in partner communities, especially for targeting tourism actors and Pokdarwis. The service is carried out in two stages and ends with an evaluation. Based on the evaluation results, participants not only know but also have the ability to identify, select procedures, and solve problems related to tourism management. Community service activities produce solutions to community problems regarding the limited understanding of KSPN and tourism management. Furthermore, the community needs to get assistance in designing and implementing creative tourism strategies with participatory methods. calculation of the level of achievement of respondents. The results of this study indicate that overall, the attractiveness of City Tourism is still being developed, and also strengthened by a tourist questionnaire which shows the ability of Padang City Tourism attractiveness.

Abstract

Kondisi Sekolah Menengah Pertama Katolik (SMPK Kesuma) dalam pandemic covid-19 melumpuhkan kegiatan karya wisata yang diprogramkan pihak sekolah tiap tahunnya. Dengan melonjaknya kasus covid-19 di Mataram, maka pihak sekolah mengganti kegiatan karya wisata tersebut dengan pelatihan desain grafis. Pelatihan desain grafis bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan bakat dan minat peserta didik dalam menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi dan seni di era sekrang ini. Metode pelaksanaan pedampingan ini dilakukan secara  klasikal dan  praktik desain grafis dengan Langkah-langkah seperti: (a) Simulasi; (b) Tutorial; (c) Latihan Terbimbing. Kegiatan ini mengahsilkan karya poster promosi makanan khas Lombok. karya poster yang dibuat peserta didik menjadi penilaian program karya wisata.
