Abstract

This study investigates the utilization of computer programs for online tax filing among individual taxpayers in Central Java. This study surveyed taxpayers in the region by using the Purposive Sampling Method and extending the Unified Technology Acceptance and Application Theory (UTAUT). Findings reveal significant effects of performance expectancy and social influence factors on effort expectancy and behavioral intention to accept tax e-filing. However, this study did not establish empirical support for the impact of social influence and effort expectancy on behavioral intention. The novelty of extending the UTAUT framework contributes to advancing theory development in information systems research. This study contributes to understanding the adoption and acceptance of technological innovations, particularly in the context of tax e-filing practices in Central Java, explaining the factors that influence user behavior and acceptance levels.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the impact of Socially Responsible Human Resource Management (SR-HRM) on employee work engagement at PT MRP, an insurance company in Indonesia, by examining the mediating roles of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Affective Commitment (AC). Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, the findings reveal that SR-HRM practices, such as fairness, inclusivity, continuous training, transparent performance evaluation, and work-life balance support, significantly enhance employee engagement. POS and AC serve as key mediators in strengthening this relationship. Employees who feel supported and emotionally attached to the organization tend to be more motivated and committed. The study underscores the importance of effective internal communication and the integration of SR-HRM into long-term strategic policies to foster a healthy and productive work environment. The results offer practical implications for insurance companies to develop socially responsible HR policies that enhance employee well-being and engagement, ultimately boosting competitiveness. Future research is recommended to expand the scope across various insurance firms and examine additional influencing factors.

Abstract

Marketing communication strategies applied to young urban consumers from Generation Z need to respond to emotional expectations and social values more meaningfully. Using a qualitative approach, constructivism paradigm, and phenomenology method, this study explores the experiences of five informants who actively interact with brands through digital media. The findings reveal that the resonance of marketing communication is greatly influenced by emotional involvement, participation in brand narratives, and consistency of values between brand messages and actions. Marketing 5.0, which combines technology and human empathy, has proven effective when applied authentically through integrated communication. The informants responded positively to personalization and collaboration-based strategies, but showed a critical attitude towards the mismatch between social messages and actual practices. IMC that is able to convey cohesive messages across channels, and encourage two-way interactions, has a greater chance of building consumer trust and loyalty. The results of this study show that the success of brand communication in the digital era is not only determined by the sophistication of technology, but by the authenticity, consistency, and collaborative values felt by the audience. The implications of these findings underline the importance of developing marketing strategies that are sensitive to the social and emotional dynamics of Generation Z.

Abstract

This This study investigates the influence of compensation and career development on employee performance at PT. Pho 24 Indonesia, South Jakarta. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, data were collected from all 90 employees through structured questionnaires. The results indicate that both compensation and career development have a significant and positive effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Regression analysis shows that fair compensation and clear career development pathways contribute to increased motivation, job satisfaction, and employee engagement. Furthermore, the findings highlight that inadequate compensation and limited promotion opportunities have negatively impacted performance levels over time. Classical assumption tests confirm that the regression model meets the requirements of normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The study emphasizes the need for strategic human resource practices to enhance employee output. It is recommended that the company periodically reviews its compensation schemes and implements structured career development programs to support organizational success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategic management in improving the quality of health services at the Tuntungan Health Center. The method used was in-depth interviews with health workers and health center managers, as well as direct observation of the service process. The results of the study show that the commitment of health workers in providing the best service is a key factor in building patient trust. The implementation of timely and standard service procedures creates a supportive environment for patients. Responsiveness to patient complaints is also an advantage of the Health Center, where a good communication system allows staff to respond to complaints quickly, thereby increasing patient satisfaction. Quality assurance and service safety are sought through the implementation of strict standard operating procedures (SOPs), providing a sense of security for patients. In addition, the empathetic attitude shown by healthcare workers contributes to the positive experience of patients, making them feel valued and cared for. However, the study also found challenges related to the condition of physical facilities and infrastructure that still need development, which can affect patient comfort. Routine training efforts for health workers and collaboration with hospitals and other health facilities are strategic steps to expand access to services and improve service quality. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement in these aspects to achieve optimal health services and meet community expectations.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has marked a turning point in the transformation of educational systems, including at the level of primary Islamic schools (madrasah ibtidaiyah), which are now required to adapt to more flexible learning models. Blended Learning, as a combination of face-to-face and online instruction, has emerged as a strategic approach in the post-pandemic context to address the challenges of sustainable learning. This study aims to explore the adaptation processes of teachers and students to the implementation of Blended Learning in science education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Ulum Mertak Tombok, Central Lombok Regency. Employing a qualitative approach through a case study method, data were collected via observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that teachers have experienced a paradigm shift in designing learning strategies that are more adaptive and responsive to students' needs. Meanwhile, students face challenges in managing their study time, limited access to technology, and fluctuating motivation to learn. Nevertheless, the majority of students reported that blended learning provides a more varied and enjoyable learning experience. These findings reinforce previous studies that emphasise the importance of infrastructure readiness and the active role of teachers in supporting the effectiveness of learning. The implications of this research underscore the necessity of enhancing teachers' digital competencies and the support of school policies in the sustainable and contextual implementation of Blended Learning.
