In the era of globalization and digitalization, sustainable entrepreneurship is one of the key factors in encouraging inclusive and environmentally friendly economic growth. Effective resource management is a major challenge for business actors, especially in ensuring business competitiveness amidst increasingly fierce competition. Along with technological developments, resource management strategies have also undergone significant transformation. Initially, resource management strategies emphasized operational efficiency and cost savings. However, as awareness of the importance of sustainability increases, this approach has developed into a more holistic strategy that takes into account economic, social and environmental aspects. Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) in Penang, Malaysia have a great potential to develop sustainable entrepreneurship. However, many TKI still face difficulties in managing resources effectively, which hinders their entrepreneurship competitiveness. With the advancement of technology and globalization, effective resource management has become crucial to enhance sustainable entrepreneurship competitiveness.

Culture is the primary identity of a nation, to be preserved and passed down through generations. Cultural preservation of local Indonesian heritage, such as traditional costumes and dances, faces significant challenges in the era of globalization. With its cultural richness, Indonesia utilizes cultural diplomacy as a form of soft power to introduce and preserve its cultural heritage on the international stage, including in Cabanatuan City, Philippines. This community service activity aims to socialize various traditional Indonesian costumes and the Tari Denok dance to the residents of Cabanatuan City. The event was held at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology in the Philippines. The method used was socialization through performances of traditional attire and Tari Denok, attended by more than 500 participants. The performances of traditional costumes and Tari Denok were divided into two days: August 22, 2025, and September 11, 2025. The results of this activity demonstrate strong enthusiasm among residents of Cabanatuan City for Indonesian culture. The results of this activity increased participants' knowledge and understanding of various traditional Indonesian clothing and Tari Denok.

For MSMEs, legality is crucial, as it provides legal certainty and empowers them to develop their businesses. Legality for MSMEs is typically known as a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Permit (IUMK). While business space in Kampung Kunir has been provided, its utilization is still suboptimal. Instead, residential areas are being used for business. However, not all MSMEs have business permits, or they are unaware of the process. The purpose of this Community Service Program is to educate MSMEs on how to obtain permits for their products, equip them with awareness and a willingness to be "literate" about the legality of their products, and improve the quality of human resources for MSMEs in this regard. The targeted output of this activity is that this guide can be created by Mercu Buana University and utilized. And if MSMEs in Kampung Kunir already have legal status, it is hoped that this will help them be more easily marketed and more easily developed in the future. The method is through socialization of activities and direct mentoring. This activity resulted in a guidebook that can be distributed to MSMEs in Kampung Kunir to help them improve the legal status of their businesses.

Indonesia is highly vulnerable to natural disasters, particularly earthquakes, tsunamis, and landslides, which frequently cause severe infrastructural damage and widespread displacement. The provision of post-disaster emergency housing is often constrained by time limitations, budget constraints, and construction standards. This study assesses whether earthquake-resistant prefabricated houses produced by Kinghouse Modular House Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou, China, are suitable for Indonesia’s geographical and social conditions and its building standards (SNI 1726:2019). The methodology encompasses coordination, literature reviews, direct observation of the production process, technical analysis of design and structure, and the formulation of adaptation recommendations. The assessment results indicate that the Kinghouse modular house—utilizing a galvanized C-channel steel frame, EPS sandwich panels, bolted connections, and anti-corrosive roofing—offers key advantages, including a lightweight structure and ease of assembly, making it highly feasible for implementation in disaster-prone areas. The primary recommendations include design modifications to align with national standards, material adjustments for tropical climates, and the development of multifunctional modular units. This study provides technical and strategic contributions for the government, industry, and the community in procuring rapid, safe, and sustainable post-disaster housing.

Food security remains a major challenge for Islamic boarding schools with limited land and resources. This community service program aimed to optimize the use of vacant land at the Markaz Penghafal Al-Qur'an of Yayasan Layar Dakwah to improve food security. The implemented methods included raised-bed preparation, selection of superior seeds, and efficient crop maintenance. The results showed that proper land utilization increased food productivity while reducing dependence on external food supplies. Tomatoes achieved the highest productivity at 2.25 kg/m², followed by chili peppers at 1.75 kg/m² and shallots at 1.25 kg/m². To increase the added value of the harvest, female students received training on processing tomatoes into tomato sauce with a longer shelf life, as well as product packaging and marketing techniques. The program enhanced students' skills in post-harvest processing, enabled them to produce value-added products, and created entrepreneurial opportunities that can generate additional income while supporting the food security of the Islamic boarding school.

One of the biggest problems after a flash flood and landslide disaster is the provision of clean water. Access to clean water is very important, as it greatly helps the disaster-affected community, especially in their future lives after the flood and landslide disaster in Aceh Tamiang. Community Service was carried out by the Lecturer Team of the Indonesian Maritime Adiguna Polytechnic Medan, who came directly to the Tamiang sub-district affected by the flash flood disaster. The methods used include education, training in making simple filters or filtration, and testing the results of water filtration from local sources in the disaster-affected area. The results of the activity show that the filter/filtration method using gravel, sand, activated charcoal, cotton, and palm fiber media can improve water quality visually and sensorily. This activity provides real benefits in supporting the availability of drinkable water for communities affected by the flash flood disaster, especially in the Aceh Tamiang area.

Aceh Tamiang is a coastal region highly vulnerable to hydrometeorological disasters, including flash floods that have repeatedly affected settlements along riverbanks and coastal areas. Following the flash-flood disaster, the community required strengthened capacity in disaster safety and preparedness, particularly maritime-based approaches, given that most residents work as fishermen and live along the coast and riverbanks. This community empowerment program aimed to improve the community's knowledge, attitudes, and skills in facing disasters through maritime safety and disaster preparedness training. The methods included socialization, theoretical training, evacuation simulation, and practice with safety equipment (life jackets, rubber boats, and evacuation signage), which were evaluated through pre-tests, post-tests, and participatory observation. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in identifying hazard signs, evacuation routes, and maritime-based self-rescue procedures. The community also demonstrated a more prepared and responsive attitude toward potential subsequent disasters. In conclusion, participatory maritime-based training effectively empowered the coastal community of Aceh Tamiang to be better prepared and more self-reliant in facing future flash-flood risks.
