Abstract

The history of Islamic education in Indonesia has experienced fluctuations over time. Until the late 1970s, the education system in Indonesia retained a strong dichotomous pattern. With the onset of reforms in the 1980s, the Muslim community began to reform its education system, which impacted the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. This is evident from the significant growth of integrated Islamic educational institutions across various levels in major cities in Indonesia. Of course, enhancing the quality of the educational process must accompany this increase. Teachers and staff play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the educational process in schools. This research examines whether a school principal's spiritual leadership style and motivational style influence the organizational citizenship behavior among teachers and staff in Islamic schools in Bengkulu City. A proportional random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 100 respondents from these institutions, consisting of teachers and staff. Participants were asked to complete a Likert scale survey administered through Google Forms. Subsequently, the obtained data underwent multiple linear regression analysis. This research identifies the correlation between Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), adherence to spiritual principles, and workplace motivation. This research aims to enhance the understanding of education stakeholders, particularly in Islamic education, by highlighting the potential positive relationship between religious devotion and increased motivation among instructors and personnel in these institutions.

This study employs a quantitative method as well as explanatory research. Primary data is collected using questionnaires for three relevant variables, while secondary data is gathered from school records, textbooks, and periodicals. The sample employed in this study was non-probability purposive sampling, with a total of 51 teachers. Smart PLS v.3 software runs the PLS-SEM data analysis algorithms. This study found that the principal's transformative leadership had a considerable positive direct effect on teacher performance (coefficient 0.208, t-count 1.660, a standard deviation 0.126, p-value 0.045 < 0.05). Abstract

Prior research has emphasized a need for scholarly works investigating millennial instructors' knowledge management (PKM) practices at the individual level within an institution. In addition, there needs to be more research examining the role of organizational learning as a mediator between transformational leadership and personal knowledge management among millennial instructors. This study examines how transformational leadership, ICT literacy, and organizational learning affect personal knowledge management (PKM) among Indonesian school instructors in their 20s and 30s. Another goal is to investigate the function of organizational learning as a mediating factor. We administered questionnaires to 100 teachers at some private Islamic schools in Bengkulu, Indonesia, and evaluated them subsequently using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The results suggest that proficiency in information and communication technology (ICT), the ability to inspire and guide others through transformational leadership, and the presence of a culture that promotes continuous learning within the business all contribute positively to the practice of personal knowledge management (PKM) among instructors from the millennial generation. The study determined that ICT literacy had the most substantial impact on teachers' PKM. Furthermore, organizational learning mediates between transformational leadership and PKM, resulting in a slight rise. These findings have practical consequences for school administrators who aim to increase millennial teachers' information and communication technology (ICT) skills in the region. One way to achieve this is by creating an ICT literacy ecosystem within schools, which will help strengthen the personal knowledge management of these instructors.

Abstract

The library plays a crucial role as the nucleus of academic knowledge and necessitates efficient management for the learning process. This study aims to assess how legal principles are implemented as guidelines for the structure and administration of school libraries, particularly within the Al-Hasanah Foundation. This evaluation is based on compliance with Regulation Number 12 of 2017, issued by the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, delineating national library standards. Employing a qualitative and evaluative research approach, this study applies the CIPPO assessment model to monitor and evaluate the operational features of the library. Evidence suggests that the Al-Hasanah Foundation Library needs to adequately meet the predetermined criteria due to a shortage of personnel, resulting in inefficiencies in executing duties, providing services, and implementing school library initiatives. Despite these challenges, the Al-Hasanah Foundation Library effectively addresses the information needs of its users, especially in acquiring library resources. The highlighted constraints significantly impact visitor engagement, underscoring the necessity of resolving human resource limitations to enhance library performance.

Abstract

This article is based on research conducted at nationally accredited State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in Indonesia, which have already begun implementing the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. The informants serving as data sources consist of 15 students participating in the International Mobility Program (IMP). A qualitative case study gathered data from interviews, observations, and documentation. The research emphasizes that the determinants of IMP success in supporting the implementation of the MBKM curriculum consist of four aspects: 1) through the ability to adapt well to a new environment, students gain learning experiences outside the campus by adjusting and respecting cultural differences in the destination country; 2) through international language proficiency, students are increasingly trained to conduct high-quality research and communicate effectively creatively; 3) through their interest in challenges and adventures in foreign campuses, students confidently present in international forums; 4) through the transformation of a global perspective, students are motivated to pursue further studies abroad and intend to participate in international programs in the following years. Understanding and emphasizing these factors is crucial for optimizing the benefits derived from international mobility initiatives within the unique context of religious higher education institutions.

Abstract

This research is interesting to conduct to analyze the variables that influence teacher performance, including the variables of total quality management and academic supervision. If we look at the media, which focuses on the development of teacher performance, the performance of teachers in Indonesia is still in the spotlight. The initial goal of the study is to determine how total quality management affects teacher performance. The second goal is to determine how academic supervision affects teacher performance. The third goal is to determine how both total quality management and academic supervision affect performance at the same time. This kind of study uses surveys as a quantitative research methodology. 88 persons in all were chosen by the census procedure to be respondents. The information utilized was gathered using a questionnaire that was distributed directly to respondents.
