Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan model pembelajaran olahraga inklusif berbasis pendekatan diferensiasi untuk mengatasi tantangan perbedaan fisik, minat, dan gaya belajar mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan Universitas Negeri Makassar (FIKK UNM). Model ini mengintegrasikan prinsip Differentiated Instruction (DI) dan Universal Design for Learning (UDL) yang menekankan fleksibilitas dan aksesibilitas dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan (action research) dalam dua siklus yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi untuk menemukan pola pembelajaran yang efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dari 58% pada pra-siklus menjadi 86% pada siklus kedua, disertai perubahan positif dalam sikap dan perilaku mahasiswa, seperti lebih percaya diri, saling menghargai, dan mampu bekerja sama dalam suasana inklusif. Dosen juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pedagogis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan model pembelajaran olahraga berbasis diferensiasi dan UDL di pendidikan tinggi untuk mendukung keberagaman dan partisipasi aktif semua mahasiswa. This study developed an inclusive sports learning model based on a differentiation approach to address the challenges of differences in physical abilities, interests, and learning styles of students at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, Makassar State University (FIKK UNM). This model integrates the principles of Differentiated Instruction (DI) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), emphasizing flexibility and accessibility in learning. The study used an action research method in two cycles involving lecturers and students. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection to find effective learning patterns. The results showed an increase in active student participation from 58% in the pre-cycle to 86% in the second cycle, accompanied by positive changes in student attitudes and behavior, such as greater self-confidence, mutual respect, and the ability to work together in an inclusive atmosphere. Lecturers also demonstrated improved pedagogical skills. This study recommends the implementation of a differentiation-based sports learning model and UDL in higher education to support diversity and active participation of all students.

Abstract

Keterampilan argumentasi adalah salah satu keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk menstimulus keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam menghadapi tantangan di abad 21. Oleh karena itu, keterampilan argumentasi mahasiswa perlu dianalisis untuk mengethaui sejau mana keterampilan argumentasi mahasiswa dan apa penyebabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas keterampilan berargumen mahasiswa pada topik tekanan hidrostatik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei cross-sectional dengan metode survei atau tes satu kali. Penelitian ini melibatkan 45 mahasiswa dari sebuah universitas negeri di Sulawesi Selatan yang telah menerima pengajaran materi tekanan hidrostatik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik sampling acak dengan instrumen tes berbasis esai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kualitas keterampilan berargumen mahasiswa masih berada pada level 1 dan level 2. Persentase mahasiswa yang memiliki keterampilan berargumen pada level 1 adalah 26,66% dan pada level 2 adalah 73,33%, sementara persentase mahasiswa yang memiliki keterampilan berargumen pada level 4, level 5, dan level 6 adalah 0%. Secara keseluruhan, keterampilan berargumen mahasiswa di salah satu  universitas negeri di Sulawesi Selatan masih dianggap rendah. Oleh karena itu, perlu direncanakan dan diterapkan suatu pembelajaran yang dapat melatihkan keterampilab argumentasi mahasiswa. Argumentation skills are one of the skills needed to stimulate critical thinking skills in facing challenges in the 21st century. Therefore, students' argumentation skills need to be analyzed to find out the extent of students' argumentation skills and what causes them. This study aims to analyze the quality of students' argumentation skills on the topic of hydrostatic pressure. The research adopts a cross-sectional survey design using a one-shot survey or test. The study involved 45 students from a public university in South Sulawesi who had received instruction on hydrostatic pressure material. Data collection was conducted using a random sampling technique with an essay-based test instrument. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the quality of students' argumentation skills remains at level 1 and level 2. The percentage of students who have argumentation skills at level 1 is 26.66% and argumentation skills at level 2 is 73.33% while the percentage of students who have argumentation skills at level 4, level 5, and level 5 is 0%. Overall, students' argumentative skills at a state university in South Sulawesi are still considered low. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and implement learning that can train students' argumentative skills.

Abstract

Peningkatan mobilitas penduduk di Kota Palangka Raya berdampak pada peningkatan volume lalu lintas , yang menimbulkan potensi permasalahan transportasi pada titik-titik simpul seperti bagian jalinan (weaving). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja lalu lintas pada bagian jalinan tunggal di area U-Turn persimpangan Jalan Krakatau dan Jalan Yos Sudarso. Analisis kinerja dilakukan menggunakan metode Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2023. Pengumpulan data primer meliputi survei volume lalu lintas selama lima hari kerja (senin-Jumat) pada tiga periode (pagi, siang, sore) dan pengukuran data geometrik jalan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jam puncak tertinggi terjadi pada periode siang hari (pukul 11.00 – 12.00) dengan total volume arus lalu lintas (qTotal) sebesar 1731 smp/jam (Satuan Mobil Penumpang/Jam). Bagian jalinan tersebut terhitung memiliki kapasitas (C) sebesar 2372 smp/jam. Dari hasil tersebut, diperoleh nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DJ) pada kondisi puncak sebesar 0,73. Kinerja lalu lintas ini didukung oleh kecepatan tempuh rata-rata (VT) 26,61 km/Jam dan waktu tempuh rata-rata (WT) 8,79 detik. Nilai DJ 0,73 masuk dalam kategori Level of Service (LOS) C, yang menunjukkan bahwa kondisi arus lalu lintas pada bagian jalinan tersebut masih sangat lancar dan jauh dari kondisi jenuh atau macet. The increase in population mobility in Palangka Raya City has an impact on increasing traffic volume, which causes potential transportation problems at node points such as weaving. This study aims to analyze traffic performance on the single braided section in the U-Turn area of the intersection of Jalan Krakatau and Jalan Yos Sudarso. Performance analysis was carried out using the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) method. Primary data collection included a survey of traffic volume for five working days (Monday-Friday) in three periods (morning, noon, evening) and measurement of road geometric data. The results of the analysis showed that the highest peak hours occurred during the daytime period (11.00 – 12.00) with a total traffic flow volume (qTotal) of 1731 pcu/Hour (Passanger Car Unit/Hour). The part of the braiding is calculated to have a capacity (C) of 2372 pcu/hour. From these results, the Degree of Saturation (DJ) value at peak conditions was 0.73. This traffic performance is supported by an average travel speed (VT) of 26.61 km/h and an average travel time (WT) of 8.79 seconds. The DJ value of 0.73 is included in the Level of Service (LOS) C category, which shows that the traffic flow condition on the interlock is still very smooth and far from saturated or congested conditions.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse university students’ conceptual understanding of Work and Energy. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied to 36 undergraduate students enrolled in the Fundamentals of Science course at Universitas Negeri Makassar during the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through a written assessment consisting of eight multiple choice and one short-answer question targeting both basic and higher-order concepts. Results show that students demonstrated strong understanding of Work concepts, particularly the relationship between force, displacement, and work. However, their grasp of Energy – especially energy transformation and conservation – was limited. The average score was 75.61%, with moderate variability and a negatively skewed distribution. These findings indicate that while procedural understanding is well developed, conceptual integration remains weak. The study recommends the use of inquiry-based and representational learning strategies to strengthen students’ conceptual reasoning in Work and Energy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas, efisiensi, dan akuntabilitas dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan Islam sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang berorientasi pada nilai-nilai Islami. Fokus kajian terletak pada bagaimana lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat mengelola sumber daya secara optimal untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal tanpa mengabaikan prinsip tanggung jawab moral dan spiritual. Metodologi pengukuran seperti Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dan Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) digunakan sebagai pendekatan kuantitatif dalam menilai kinerja lembaga, mengidentifikasi area yang kurang efisien, serta memberikan dasar pengambilan keputusan yang lebih objektif dan terukur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas manajemen mutu pendidikan Islam sangat dipengaruhi oleh keseimbangan antara pencapaian tujuan akademik dan penerapan nilai-nilai etis Islami. Efisiensi dapat ditingkatkan melalui optimalisasi sumber daya manusia dan finansial, sedangkan akuntabilitas menuntut transparansi dalam proses pengelolaan dan pelaporan kinerja. Dengan demikian, penerapan konsep efektivitas, efisiensi, dan akuntabilitas secara terpadu melalui pendekatan analitis seperti DEA dan SFA dapat menjadi strategi komprehensif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design to examine the phonological interference of the Sasak Meno-Mene dialect (L1) on English (L2) pronunciation among eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Janapria. The primary objective is to identify phonological differences and determine recurring patterns of pronunciation errors. Data were collected from 75 native speakers of the Meno-Mene dialect through minimal-pair testing, observations, and semi-structured interviews. The analysis reveals that the phonological system of the first language, which is comparatively simpler, lacks several key English phonemes, such as interdental fricatives (/?/, /ð/) and vowel length distinctions. The findings indicate consistent negative transfer, predominantly in the substitution of interdental fricatives with alveolar stops (/?/ ? /t/). Furthermore, the substitution of /f/ with /p/ suggests that the labiodental fricative, although present in loanwords, has not yet been fully internalized by the learners. Non-linguistic factors also contribute to the learners’ difficulties, including language anxiety and fear of ridicule, which discourage students from practicing spoken English and limit opportunities for self-correction. This research supports the Contrastive Analysis Hypothesis (CAH) and recommends that pronunciation instruction be targeted and psychologically supportive in order to enhance learner performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan guru MGMP IPA Kabupaten Maros dalam mengakses pelatihan digital yang berkelanjutan serta rendahnya kemampuan dalam mengembangkan media interaktif. Pelatihan yang tersedia selama ini cenderung bersifat singkat sehingga tidak mampu mendampingi guru dalam menghasilkan produk micromodul yang berkualitas. Untuk menjawab masalah tersebut, dikembangkan website Jelajahsains.com sebagai media pembelajaran dan pusat informasi interaktif yang menyediakan materi pelatihan, tutorial, forum diskusi, serta contoh micromodul. Keunggulan utama platform ini adalah integrasi LMS Odoo yang memungkinkan pembelajaran mandiri, kolaborasi, dan publikasi karya guru dalam satu ekosistem digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan R&D dengan model ADDIE. Validasi ahli media memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,44 (88,82%) dan ahli materi 4,50 (90%), keduanya dalam kategori sangat layak. Uji coba terbatas dengan 15 guru menunjukkan respons sangat positif (skor 4,55 atau 91,6%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Jelajahsains.com tidak hanya layak digunakan, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru serta mendukung proses pelatihan micromodul secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan satu kegiatan yang didesain secara sistematis agar tercipta kondisi belajar. Terdapat berbagai macam desain yang bisa diterapkan ke dalam pembelajaran satunya adalah pembelajaran konseptual-induktif dengan metode percobaan sederhana. Pembelajaran konseptual-induktif merupakan pembelajaran mengikuti paradigma konstruktif sehingga dianggap mampu membelajarkan pemahaman konsep dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi proses dan hasil penerapan pembelajaran konseptual–induktif dengan metode percobaan sederhana pada mata kuliah Zat dan Energi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain one-shot post-test dan melibatkan tiga kelas (ICP, Reguler A, Reguler B) untuk menelaah pola capaian dan konsistensi hasil belajar mahasiswa. Analisis deskriptif dan eksploratori menunjukkan bahwa distribusi nilai bersifat miring negatif, dengan mayoritas mahasiswa memperoleh nilai pada kategori menengah–tinggi. Tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 83,8% sehingga mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran ini efektif secara instruksional dalam mendukung pemahaman konsep. Namun, analisis antar kelas memperlihatkan perbedaan konsistensi di mana kelas ICP menunjukkan konsistensi tertinggi dengan sebaran nilai yang homogen, kelas Reguler A berada pada kategori sedang, dan kelas Reguler B memiliki heterogenitas terbesar. Variasi ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran konseptual–induktif dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan awal, kesiapan kognitif, dan kualitas scaffolding selama proses analisis dan generalisasi. Secara keseluruhan, pembelajaran konseptual–induktif dengan percobaan sederhana memberikan dampak positif pada pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa tetapi memerlukan diferensiasi dukungan pembelajaran pada kelas dengan heterogenitas tinggi.

Abstract

Rapid changes in 21st-century education demand effective learning strategies that foster critical thinking skills. This study maps the research landscape on Project-Based Learning (PBL) and critical thinking from 2023 to 2025 through a Scopus-based bibliometric analysis, employing co-occurrence, co-authorship, and thematic mapping techniques. The results reveal a dynamic publication trend following a rise–peak–stabilization pattern, highlighting two main thematic clusters: curriculum development and problem-based learning design to enhance analytical skills, and the application of PBL in professional education, particularly nursing, to improve practical competencies. International collaboration analysis shows the dominance of Asian countries, with Australia and Canada serving as knowledge hubs, indicating global interconnectedness in PBL and critical thinking research. The findings underscore PBL as a transformational framework that integrates theory, practice, and learning contexts, promoting multidimensional critical thinking development. However, research gaps remain regarding limited contextual representation, methodological design, and integration of educational technology. Future studies are recommended to develop more multidimensional and inclusive PBL research, incorporating cognitive process analysis, diversified educational contexts, cross-cultural adaptation, and technology integration, to strengthen empirical evidence and provide practical guidance for implementing innovative education aligned with 21st-century demands. Does Ideological Religiosity Influence Academic Achievement? Insights from Structural Equation Modeling Usman, Muslim

Abstract

This study investigates whether ideological religiosity directly influences academic achievement among Diploma III (D-III) Health students in Aceh, Indonesia. Ideological religiosity represents the internalized dimension of belief, encompassing convictions about divine omniscience, scriptural truth, moral accountability, and prophetic ethical models. Although religious belief is often assumed to shape students’ discipline, responsibility, and academic orientation, empirical evidence regarding its direct impact on academic outcomes remains mixed. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design, data were collected from 412 students selected through simple random sampling. Ideological religiosity was measured using a five-item validated scale, while academic achievement was operationalized through cumulative grade point average (CGPA). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to assess both the measurement and structural models. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) demonstrated excellent model fit, indicating that ideological religiosity is a reliable and unidimensional construct. However, the structural model revealed that ideological religiosity does not exert a significant direct effect on academic achievement (? = –0.10, p = .20). These findings suggest that deeply held religious beliefs, although central to personal identity and moral orientation, do not independently predict student performance in formal academic settings. The results reinforce theoretical perspectives that religiosity influences academic outcomes indirectly through motivation, emotional regulation, or behavioral discipline rather than as a proximate determinant. This study contributes to the growing literature on religiosity and education by isolating the ideological dimension and testing its academic relevance within a culturally homogeneous Muslim-majority context. Implications for educational practice and future research directions are discussed.
