Abstract

The Muslim community of Jambewangi Hamlet, the existence of Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah is a diversity that cannot be denied. However, religious understanding can taper potential conflicts, differences and religious doctrines can damage religious unity and harmony. Conflict can also damage the government system of Sempu village, especially if there is a person's personal interest. The purpose of this study is to determine the socio-religious conflicts in Jambewangi hamlet and find out the solution to the socio-religious conflicts in the hamlet. This type of research is qualitative. Data is obtained from primary and secondary data sources. Primary data include interview techniques, observation, and documentation as well as in-depth interviews. Secondary data are obtained from other sources that support and are considered relevant to the theme of study, such as books, journals, and so on. This study used Lewis A's conflict theory. Coser, and the data obtained in the field were studied using descriptive-interpretive techniques. In the results of the study, the conflict that occurred in Jambewangi Hamlet was a conflict between Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah religious understandings, where there were several factors behind the conflict, including differences in the determination of qurban holidays, Ramadan Eid al-Fitr, differences in religious rituals, differences in political interests of certain individuals and so on., besides that there are also problems, namely the struggle for the territory of the place of worship, namely Al-Falah Mosque, then conflicts that occur in the political area occur in the election of the head hamlet. With the conflict unconsciously damaged the Jambewangi community system , thus it was very influential with the lives of the Jambewangi people. Conflict resolution carried out by the Head of Sempu Village to bridge with various social activities.

Abstract

Pesantren dianggap sebagai lembaga tradisional yang tidak mampu berkembang di tengah arus globalisasi. Faktanya, peran di tengah masyarakat sejak kolonial hingga saat ini tak tergantikan. Sebagai salah satu institusi yang telah sejak pra kolonialisme, pesantren memiliki akar budaya yang terus beradaptasi dengan perubahan masyarakat Indonesia. Bahkan beberapa tahun terakhir, peranya mulai sangat didukung oleh pemerintah. Keistimewaannya ini tentu tidak terlepas pada pola desain birokrasi budaya organisasinya. Penelitian ini fokus pada upaya-upaya manajemen yang dilakukan pesantren dalam merespons perubahan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Fenomena yang diteliti adalah upaya yang dilakukan pesantren Nurul Islam Salatreng Situbondo Jawa Timur. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian ini fokus mengkaji pola relasi struktur yang terjadi dalam melestarikan budaya pesantren. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan menyatakan bahwa manajemen birokrasi pelestarian budaya pesantren dilakukan dengan berorientasi pada penguatan budaya pesantren dan sekaligus merespons inovatif perubahan yang terjadi. Birokrasi pesantren dikembangkan dengan tiga varian struktur yakni inti, internal dan Eksternal. Kyai sebagai struktur inti berhubungan dengan pola hierarki dan klan demi terjaganya budaya pesantren yang luhur. Selain itu, struktur inti juga membangun relasi dengan struktur Eksternal dengan pola market dan adhocracy. Tujuannya guna mengembangkan kerja organisasi yang terbuka dan inovatif dalam merespons dampak globalisasi.

Abstract

Abstract This study raises the subject of "Islamic Extension Strategy in an Effort to Minimize the Occurrence of Divorce in Society with sub-problems behind the occurrence of divorce? duties and functions of KUA extension workers? Strategies used in an effort to minimize the occurrence of divorce in the community. The purpose of this study is to provide the development of science on the background of divorce, knowing the duties and functions of Islamic Extension Counselors, To find out the strategies used by Islamic Extension Counselors in an effort to minimize the occurrence of divorce in the community. The research approach that researchers use is field research using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the strategy used by extension workers was in the form of a suscatin program, conducting marriage counseling, conducting advice before and after the marriage contract. The implication of this study is, For KUA institutions are expected to further develop the function of extension workers in an effort to prevent divorce, For Islamic extension workers, they should be more active in approaching the community for the smooth running of the activities carried out For the community, it is expected to actively participate in the activities of the scientific assembly through meetings and direct communication by not prioritizing social media.

Abstract

One of the infectious diseases that is still a public health challenge in Indonesia is tuberculosis (TB). This study is intended to model the spread of TB disease in Central Java using the Discrete-Time Markov Chain Susceptible Vaccinated Infected Recovered Susceptible (DTMC SVIRS) stochastic epidemic model. This model categorizes the population into four groups: susceptible, vaccinated, infected, and recovered. The transition probabilities between these groups are obtained based on transmission, vaccination, vaccine failure, vaccine effectiveness, recovery, and waning immunity rates. Parameter values were estimated using TB data from the Central Java Health Profile. Simulations were performed with different transmission rate treatments to analyze their effect on epidemic dynamics. The results show that the higher transmission rate, the longer it takes to reach the peak of epidemic and the more individuals are infected, which indicates a more serious epidemic. The model predicts that the epidemic will continue timelessly due to waning immunity and remaining susceptibility. The SVIRS model provides an overview of the spread of TB in Central Java.

Abstract

This article attempts to explain the sustainability of higher education quality through the facilitation of workplace spirituality. The quality of Islamic higher education is important for the survival of private institute. One instrument that can be used to sustaining the quality performance of Islamic private higher education is facilitation of spirituality in the workplace. This research takes the case study of the Ibrahimy Genteng Islamic Institute. Scope of Study on the sustainability of the quality performance of Islamic private higher education through workplace spirituality facilitation. This study will focus on four things, namely; content (c), process (p), context (x) and outcomes (o). In the content study, content refers to the values developed to improve quality performance. In the process study (process) how workplace spirituality is developed as an effort to maintain quality performance. The context study examines the factors that support the facilitation of workplace spirituality and the outcomes study focuses on the benefits obtained by both individuals and the organization. IAI Ibrahimy uses the values ​​found in Sufism in the form of Ikhlas, Istiqomah, Solidarity, kinship, deliberation, Istikhoroh prayer, and ahlu sunnah wal jamaah as the values ​​developed. Improvements in quality and quantity are the result of developing these values.

Abstract

An epidemic is a situation when an area has a very high number of cases of individuals infected with an infectious disease in a short time frame. Susceptible Infected Recovered (SIR) epidemic models that explain changes in the number of infected individuals in discrete time intervals are called Discrete Time Markov Chain SIR (DTMC SIR) epidemic models. This research aims to discuss the DTMC SIR epidemic model and its simulation of the COVID-19 outbreak. The research methods used are literature reviews and simulation of the dynamics of COVID-19 transmission in Central Java. Central Java's COVID-19 dynamics are analyzed using the obtained DTMC SIR model with a contact rate and cure rate . This research has yielded a DTMC SIR epidemic model that uses transition probabilities to study the dynamics of COVID-19 transmission. The model applied with an initial value of and , and shows that COVID-19 stops when and occurs at . The model was also applied when the contact rate was reduced and increased. The conclusion is that the smaller the contact rate, the longer the epidemic ends and the fewer individuals are infected at the time the epidemic ends.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Montessori Method in an effort to build understanding of basic mathematical concepts in grade 1 students at MI Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kembiritan Genteng Banyuwangi. This research is quantitative quasi-experimental, using parallel classes namely classes for the experimental group that receive learning using the Montessori method and control group classes with conventional learning. Data was collected through a test of understanding basic mathematical concepts before (pretest) and after the intervention (post test). The research results show that the average value of N- Gain in the experimental class is 70.00. The average N-Gain value of the control class is 15.47. This shows that the Montessori Method is 54.53% more effective in improving student learning outcomes on adding tens and hundreds than conventional methods. The application of the Montessori method makes a positive contribution to increasing students' understanding, especially in critical aspects of mathematics for grade 1 students. Statistical analysis shows significant differences between the two groups, with a p-value of 0.00<0.05 which supports the effectiveness of the Montessori method. The implication of this research is that the application of the Montessori method can be used as an effective alternative learning approach to build understanding of basic mathematical concepts in grade 1 students. This can be a reference for schools, teachers and policy makers in designing more effective learning strategies at the educational level basic, especially at MI Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kembiritan Genteng Banyuwangi. Further studies can explore the long-term impact of implementing the Montessori method in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to uncover facts and find learning formulas in traditional Muslim schools or better known as Islamic boarding schools which are related to multigrade classes. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, data collection in this research includes observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model, while checking validity uses a triangulation method. The research results show that Multi Grade Teaching in Islamic boarding school learning begins with preparation involving material, technical and human preparation. In practice, the MGT model of learning is carried out through learning centered in the mosque. The educational interaction process that occurs at the Darul Huda Islamic boarding school is divided into two, namely educational interaction that occurs in the learning process such as the Koran, sorogan, and syawir and the learning interaction process that occurs outside the learning process such as group discussions in front of the dormitory or in the mosque foyer. Researchers suggest that further research be carried out to find a more appropriate formula for developing learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

For a mother who is involved in the career world, it is certainly not easy to share roles professionally. Mothers are the first to educate and introduce children to the world. In educating a child, the most important thing to instill is religious and moral values ​​because religion and morals are the main foundation in forming a human character. That is why it is so important to instill aspects of religious and moral values ​​in children as early as possible. This research aims to describe the strategies used by career women in instilling religious and moral values ​​in early childhood and the obstacles faced by career women in the Al-Qodiri Jember Islamic Institute Higher Education. This research approach uses qualitative, the type of design used is a case study. The technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling and snowball. while data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The researcher's data analysis technique refers to the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The research results show that the strategy used by career women in instilling religious and moral values ​​is through Direct strategies include increasing prayer while the child is still in the womb, being exemplary in congregational prayers, reciting the Koran together, fasting, memorizing prayers or short letters every night and getting into the habit of saying thank you, using the word please, saying hello, respecting elders and kissing. the hands of an older person. An indirect strategy is to send children to religious schools in the morning and entrust their children to TPQ in the afternoon. Barriers to career women in instilling moral and religious values ​​in early childhood are external, originating from outside the child in the form of limited parental time, inability to control influences. bad friends and the bad influence of social media.

Abstract

Number and letter literacy skills are very important for early childhood. These two skills help children in successful learning at the next level of education. On the other hand, the development of various artificial intelligence applications in learning numbers and letters can be utilized by teachers to improve both skills. This research aims to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence in developing letter and number literacy in early childhood. This research uses a literature review approach sourced from articles that have been published in reputable international journals that examine the relationship between the use of applications in developing literacy of numbers and letters in early childhood. The results show that various artificial intelligence applications have been used to improve number and letter literacy in early childhood. However, the appropriate use needs to be studied in the future.
