Abstract

In The Current millenial and digital design has become a demand in the creative industry today. In this case, vocational high school student majoring in Multimedia or Visual Communication Design need more graphic design skill. This training was held at Ibrahimy 1 Vocational High School, Sukorejo which is still under the auspices of the Salafiyah Syafiiyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School, specifically student majoring in Multimedia. The puspose of this community services is to strengthen the abilities and skills of vacationnal high school students using various CorelDraw graphic desain software as provisions is facing the work and enterpreneurship in the creative industry. The Method of implementing this community service avaible in the Coreldrwa application. The result of the training were that most students had an increased understand understandding of the basic concept desighn, design elements and  principles of visual aesthetics and student were able to operate basic Coreldraw features such as creating and changing a object, adjusting color and using layers and simple effects. This had a positive impack impact  on increasing students skill in designing logos, curicculum vitae and also a posters.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of graphic design training using CorelDraw software in developing students’ soft skills at SMP Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo. Softskills such as creativity, visual communication, collaboration, and problem-solving are essential competencies that should be cultivated from an early age, especially in the digital and creative industry era. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through direct observation, interviews, and documentation during the training sessions. The results indicate that the training not only enhanced students’ understanding of basic graphic design techniques but also fostered self-confidence, teamwork abilities, and an appreciation of visual aesthetics. Students’ active participation in designing logos, brochures, and other promotional media served as a key indicator of the success of this contextual learning approach. Therefore, the CorelDraw training has proven to be an effective strategy for strengthening students’ soft skills and is relevant to be integrated into 21st-century skills-based educational programs.

Abstract

Air mata pengantin is a term used to refer to both the plant Antigonon leptopus and a traditional beverage of the Malay Riau community. This study aims to examine the botanical aspects of A. leptopus and the cultural significance of the es air mata pengantin beverage within the Malay Riau society. A. leptopus is a climbing plant from the Polygonaceae family, characterized by clusters of pink to white flowers, and is rich in bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins, which have potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Meanwhile, es air mata pengantin is a traditional beverage made from colorful agar, grass jelly, basil seeds, red syrup, and shaved ice, named as such due to its appearance resembling the beauty of A. leptopus flowers. The use of the same name for both the plant and the beverage reflects the local wisdom of the Malay Riau community in linking natural beauty with life values and cultural traditions. This phenomenon also indicates the process of cultural value transmission and the transformation of traditional culinary practices into regional cultural identity. Therefore, the preservation and further development of A. leptopus utilization as an ornamental plant and traditional medicinal plant are necessary to support the sustainability of local wisdom and Indonesia's biodiversity

Abstract

Indonesia is a country characterized by a diversity of religions and beliefs. All elements of society are needed to achieve a harmonious life. Intolerant and extreme behavior not only targets the general public in the real and virtual worlds, but has now spread to educational institutions. Activities such as halaqah (Islamic religious gatherings) and other closed religious studies that are not accompanied by a moderate understanding of religious teachers can encourage the emergence of exclusivist, exploitative, and intolerant attitudes in educational institutions. Strengthening moderate attitudes must be carried out in a structured manner in various aspects of community life, including educational institutions, because they play a strategic role in fostering moderate understanding and can even serve as laboratories for religious moderation. If the strengthening of moderate attitudes in educational institutions is not optimized, they will certainly become easy targets for the infiltration of splinter and intolerant ideologies. Therefore, educational institutions are a highly effective medium for strengthening the character of students who are broad-minded, open, and tolerant in the dynamics of life as a diverse nation and state.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial period in individual development, during which students begin to face academic pressure and complex family dynamics. Family function plays a significant role in supporting student subjective well-being. however, challenges such as poor communication, lack of emotional support, and interfamily conflicts can hinder a child's development. Simultaneously, students are also confronted with high academic demands, potentially leading to stress and feelings of inadequacy. This study aims to examine the influence of family function and academic resilience on student subjective well-being among students of SMP Muhammadiyah 48 Cikupa, Tangerang Regency. This is a quantitative study involving 169 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using the Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (SSWQ), the Family Functioning Questionnaire (FFQ), and the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS). The analysis revealed a t-value of 11.247 for the effect of family function on student subjective well-being and a t-value of 12.831 for the effect of academic resilience. The F-value of 93.053 indicates a significant joint influence of family function and academic resilience on student subjective well-being. With an R. Square value of 0.529, the findings suggest that family function and academic resilience, contribute effectively to 52.9% of the vanance in student subjective well-being while the remaining 47.1% is influenced by other unexamined factors. These findings highlight the importance of a supportive family environment and the development of academic resilience in helping students navigate academic stress and maintain psychological well-being.

Abstract

 Social Studies learning, particularly the ability to analyze interactions between Asian countries and other nations at MTsN 1 Kota Kediri, is still teacher-centered. Students are not accustomed to participating in discussions, tend to be passive, and their engagement remains low. They mostly wait for the teacher's explanation during the learning process without actively thinking. Moreover, students do not review the material at home and are often used to copying their peers' work during practice activities. The purpose of this research is to determine the improvement in students’ ability to analyze interactions between Asian countries and other nations in class IX-J of MTsN 1 Kota Kediri during the even semester of the 2023–2024 academic year by applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This method is one of the enjoyable strategies that encourages students to be active in the learning process. The success indicator for improved student learning outcomes in this study is that more than 76% of students meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM), with a minimum score of 76. The research results show an increase in the number of students who achieved the minimum mastery criteria in each cycle. In the first cycle, 73.3% (13 students) met the KKM, while in the second cycle, 86.8% (36 students) met the KKM. These results demonstrate an improvement from the pre-cycle to the second cycle. The success criteria of the study were met in the second cycle, where more than 76% of the students achieved the KKM.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve teacher competency in developing technology-based interactive learning media at Muhammadiyah 07 Sukaraja Junior High School. In today's digital era, the use of innovative and interactive learning media is key to creating an engaging, effective, and digitally-adapted teaching and learning process. Through participatory training, teachers were provided with an understanding of the importance of interactive media, introduced to various educational applications and platforms, and directly guided in creating technology-based learning media. The results of the activity demonstrated improved teacher skills and enthusiasm in designing interactive media. This activity is expected to have a sustainable impact on improving the quality of education at Muhammadiyah 07 Sukaraja Junior High School.

Abstract

This community service activity took place at SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo which included learning about graphic design with a theme related to digital technology, namely graphic design training using the CorelDraw application, the aim of which was to increase students’ creativity in designing, withthe hope that later when they graduate the students can immediately work or open their own business space. The approach used in this training activity was a lecture delivering material about graphic design using the CorelDraw application, then practicum and closed with a question and answer session. CorelDraw Software was used as a tool in this activity because it is easy to master for new users who want to learn to design a design. The output of this activity is that students are able to create a logo design, poster, and banner.

Abstract

Learning Methods are an important component in learning, Teachers have an important role in teaching and learning activities, one of the methods that can be applied in learning Arabic is the Mubasyarah Method. The objectives of this study are (a) to determine the effect of Tariqah Mubasyarah on Arabic language learning (b) to find a solution if Tariqah Mubasyarah has no effect on Arabic language learning. The method that researchers use in this study is a Quantitative Approach, type of research Quasi Experiment, with the type of design one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of class VIII Mts Ma'had Al-Zaytun. Data analysis carried out is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, with Hypothesis Test in the form of Wilcoxon Test. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test because the data were not normally distributed. The results of the analysis showed that between the pretest and posttest showed N : 11, Mean: 10.50 and Sum: 115,50. This shows that there is a decrease in the pretest and posttest scores of 11 students with an average decrease in the pretest and posttest scores.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the management and development of the special sports class program at Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati Junior High School. A qualitative approach with a descriptive study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving the principal, physical education teachers, coaches, students, and other relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the program is managed based on key management functions: planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. The coaching process is carried out systematically through a rigorous selection process, structured training, and academic support. Despite facing limitations in facilities, the school addresses these challenges through external collaborations. The program has had significant impacts, including improved student sports achievements at the national level, character development, and an enhanced school image. However, challenges remain, particularly the low academic motivation among some students, which requires further attention. The study concludes that the program has been implemented effectively and serves as a good practice model for talent and interest-based education, although regular evaluation and integrated curriculum enhancement are needed to maintain a balance between academic and non-academic achievements
