Abstract

Initial investigations revealed that the typical student experiences a diminished level of well-being. This research aims to delve into the happiness patterns among students, scrutinize the underlying factors, and ascertain methods for enhancing their happiness. Employing a phenomenological qualitative approach, the study elucidates that students perceive happiness subjectively. Additionally, it explores the determinants influencing student happiness and strategies for augmenting their well-being within the Islamic boarding school environment. Happiness is interpreted by students at the salafiyah/traditional Islamic boarding school as a feeling filled with togetherness, simplicity and oriented towards achieving the goals of the world and the hereafter. Factors that support the happiness of students from within are acceptance, openness, calmness, resilience, self-control and good time management. While the determinants of the happiness of students who come from the first environment are attachment and parental support, peer support and support from pesantren through kyai/ustadz. The article can significantly contribute to our understanding of students' lives in Salafiyah traditional Islamic boarding schools and has practical implications for enhancing the quality of education and student well-being in that context

This study evaluates the role of technical guidance in supporting the functional responsibilities of these positions, employing a multidimensional approach to improve educational outcomes. Through a comprehensive evaluation system that incorporates continuous feedback, this research investigates the impacts of technical guidance on teaching practices and learning quality. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative methodological framework, this inquiry engaged 107 participants and 22 instructors from a technical guidance initiative, with a focus on systematically analyzing the initiative's efficacy within the educational milieu. The evaluative methodology employed herein encompasses an assessment of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions of learning, utilizing descriptive statistical techniques to elucidate trends, patterns, and interrelations within the dataset. The findings of this scholarly investigation reveal that the technical guidance initiative has registered notable success in several domains, particularly in enhancing competencies and updating facilitators' insights regarding regulations and educational technologies. Nonetheless, it concurrently identifies domains necessitating enhancement, such as participant engagement and evaluative methods. The implications emanating from these findings bear significant ramifications for educational policy formulation and pedagogical practice. Recommendations proffered include the enhancement of material delivery clarity and engagement, diversification of implementation methodologies, refinement of assessment protocols, and an emphasis on the educators' well-being. This research furnishes a foundational basis for forthcoming endeavors aimed at optimizing technical guidance strategies, thereby augmenting the overall educational outcomes.

Abstract

Education in non-formal schools, particularly at the middle level requires special attention to enhance educational quality. School principal leadership and quality management administration have been recognized as key factors potentially affecting teacher performance. However, the relationship between these factors and teacher work motivation in non-formal schools is not fully understood. This study aims to investigate the relationship between school principal leadership, quality management administration, work motivation, and teacher performance in middle level non-formal schools. the study employs a survey method using questionnaires as the data collection instrument. The research sample consists of  teachers from several non-formal schools selected randomly. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive statistical techniques and regression analysis. The analysis results indicate that school principal leadership positively influences teacher work motivation in non-formal schools. Quality management administration also has a positive effect on teacher work motivation. Furthermore, teacher work motivation significantly influences teacher performance in non-formal schools. This study concludes that school principal leadership and quality management administration positively affect teacher work motivation, which in turn influences teacher performance in non-formal schools. Therefore, the development of strategies to enhance school principal leadership, quality management administration, and teacher work motivation in non-formal schools will support the improvement of educational quality at this level. The main contribution of this research is to clarify the relationship between school principal leadership, quality management administration, work motivation, and teacher performance in non-formal schools, which can serve as a basis for the development of more effective educational policies and practices at this level

Abstract

Post-stroke patients often experience dependency and disability due to paralysis and this really requires their families support to continue treatment at home. Currently, to carry out post-stroke treatment, they use homecare services because the family is less able to carry out post-stroke care independently at home. This research aims to identify an educational model that allows families to actively participate in learning so that they can be independent in treating post-stroke patients at home. The method used is mix method, involving 56 families of post-stroke patients selected by purposive sampling technique for quantitative data and two family members, two healthcare providers for qualitative data used in dept interview. The data quantitative were analyzed using the percentage formula which is presented in the form of a frequency distribution table, meanwhile qualitative data were processed by data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that most of the families of stroke patients didn’t receive and utilize homecare services for various reasons, including ignorance, inability and unpreparedness as well as inability to pay the costs. It is necessary to conduct research use the research and development (R & D) method with topics related to the development of homecare service models for post-stroke patients at home based on participatory learning. The novelty of this research is the production of a model design that can answer the needs of families to increase independence in treating post-stroke patients at home

Abstract

The decline in trust in the values of Pancasila, which has led to intolerance, violence against children and women, bullying, pornography, drug abuse, and technological disruption, poses challenges in the school environment. To address these issues, it is necessary to have learning that develops character values through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) using the Paseban house model based on local wisdom representing Pancasila values utilizing Information Communication And Technology (ICT). Therefore, the aim of this research was to develop a P5 learning design through an ICT-based Paseban House model. The learning design was developed using the Educational Design Research (EDR) method analyzed through a thematic approach based on the stages of EDR method. The research results showed a crisis in students’ character as they enter adolescence, manifesting in violent behavior, decreasing respect and honor, a lack of responsibility and honesty, thus necessitating learning to prevent this crisis through the P5 learning design with the Paseban house model based on local customs and culture values. To facilitate P5 learning with the Paseban house model, this learning design utilized ICT, specifically the Learning Management System (LMS), as an easily accessible learning innovation regardless of time and place due to the rapid technological advancements and the spread of COVID-19.

For this reason, when learning at the early childhood education level, teachers are needed who have professional commitment in carry-ing out their duties. Teachers who have professional commitment will be able to display optimal performance for early childhood learning. There are many factors that influence professional commitment, one of which is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction factors are the topic of study in this research. This research aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment in early childhood education teachers.  This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sampling technique for this research uses convenience. The number of research subjects was 120 Early Childhood Education teachers. Data were collected using a psy-chological scale developed by the research team. The psychological scale consists of a job satisfaction scale and a professional commitment scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Correlation analysis tech-nique. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment in early childhood education teachers. The results of the correlation analysis show that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the professional commitment. The novelty of this research is that there is still limited research regarding the relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment among early childhood teachers. Several previous studies discussing job satisfaction and professional commitment used research subjects, such as nurses, auditor, employees and teachers at higher education levels.
