Abstract

This study analyzes the use of the Notion application by students to support self-regulated learning. Given the complexity of the productivity application's features, this study used a case study design with an embedded mixed-method approach. Participants consisted of five students selected purposively. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire adapted from the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) and further deepened through interviews and dashboard observations. The results showed that Notion is associated with higher levels of student motivation and learning discipline. Features such as to-do lists and reminders proved effective for planning and time tracking. However, the findings revealed obstacles in the aspect of organizing material, where students struggled to optimize complex database features due to limited technical digital literacy. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Notion application has potential as a component of the Personal Learning Environment (PLE), but requires technical assistance at the beginning of the study period so that its function is not merely an ordinary digital notebook.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the “WECARE” Character Education Website as a digital innovation solution to improve the independent character of dyslexic students based on the characteristics of kinesthetic, visual learning styles, and psychological needs of students. The features are designed to support the formation of independent character according to the reference of student independence. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Alessi and Trollip development model consisting of three stages, namely planning, design, and development. The research subjects involved 25 dyslexic children phase D at MTs Al Hamid with consideration of the intensity of digital device use. The development was carried out using Google Sites software as the main cloud-based platform. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and expert validation questionnaires (media, materials, and inclusive education). Feasibility data were analyzed using expert validation. Effectiveness was obtained through the N-Gain score from the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores using 10 statement items. The results showed a feasibility level of 91.6% and an average N-Gain score of 0.706 with a medium to high category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a PBL-based E-Module and to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the PBL-based E-Module in empowering students' problem-solving skills. This study used a research and development design and approach with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data collection methods used interviews, observation, questionnaires/surveys, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques focused on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the new product, using descriptive, evaluative, and experimental methods, with the main instruments being expert validation questionnaires (media, materials, practitioners) and user response questionnaires (students/test subjects) analyzed using a Likert scale and percentages to assess product feasibility, as well as qualitative data for improvement. The results showed that the PBL-based E-Module had been successfully developed. The PBL-based E-Module is valid and feasible to use with overall validation results from media experts in the “Very Good” qualification with an average score of 96% and “Feasible to use in the field without revision” while the overall validation results from material experts in the “Very Good” qualification with an overall average of 97.4% and “Feasible to use in the field without revision”. The PBL-based e-module is practical to use, with overall practicality test results from education practitioners qualifying as “Very Good” with an average score of 97.95% and “Suitable for field testing without revision.” Meanwhile, the practicality test results from a user group of 36 students obtained an average total score of 93.03% and were rated “Very Good” and “Suitable Without Revision”. The use of PBL-based E-Module teaching media is very effective in empowering students' problem-solving skills compared to the use of PowerPoint teaching media, based on the ANCOVA test results, which obtained a Sig. value of <0.001 (< 0.05). Abstract

This study explores how Collaborative Presentation Tasks facilitate the development of speaking fluency among 54 Electrical Engineering students in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context. Adopting a qualitative descriptive design, the study investigated students’ lived experiences of collaborative presentations, with particular attention to the emergence of interactional synchrony during preparation and delivery stages. Data were collected through classroom observations, audio-video recordings of group presentations, semi-structured interviews, and students’ reflective journals. The analysis focused on how coordinated rehearsal, shared cognitive planning, peer scaffolding, and orderly turn-taking evolved within collaborative groups and shaped students’ fluency development. The findings reveal that collaborative presentation environments fostered psychological safety, significantly reducing speaking anxiety and encouraging students’ willingness to communicate and take linguistic risks. Joint rehearsal practices enabled students to align pacing, rhythm, and transitions, resulting in smoother speech flow, fewer hesitation markers, and greater speech automaticity. In addition, collective content construction reduced cognitive load when presenting technical material, allowing students to focus more on meaning delivery and interaction rather than linguistic accuracy. Peer support further promoted more authentic and spontaneous oral expression, although challenges such as unequal participation and reliance on more proficient peers were also observed. Overall, the study demonstrates that collaborative presentations function not only as assessment tasks but as fluency-enhancing learning environments that integrate cognitive, emotional, and interactional support. These findings highlight the pedagogical potential of synchrony-based collaborative speaking activities in engineering education and offer practical implications for designing communication tasks that promote confident, fluent, and meaningful oral communication.

Abstract

The role of Islamic spiritual values ​​in shaping the work ethic of teachers, particularly Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, in facing the challenges of welfare, professionalism, and educational policy is not yet fully equitable. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library study method that aims to understand and interpret social phenomena through the analysis of various relevant literature sources. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, namely by reviewing books, scientific journal articles, research reports, and academic documents related to the research topic. This study found that zuhud is not an attitude of absolute estrangement from the world, but rather placing the world in a balanced position so that it does not become the primary goal in life. Meanwhile, qana'ah does not mean helpless resignation, but rather accepting enough of the sustenance available while still actively and critically striving. The integration of these two values ​​in the teacher's personality creates a patient, resilient, and dignified character, while also being able to be critical of systemic inequality. This study emphasizes that educational policies must be built on the basis of structural justice as well as spiritual moral values, so as not only to demand teacher devotion, but also to fulfill their basic rights. Spirituality should be a powerful force for change, not a justification for an unequal system. Therefore, this article recommends a synergy between spiritual development, character building, and the design of fair, sustainable, and teacher-empowering Islamic education policies.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of developing a science learning media in the form of a Ludo Game that raises the topic of natural and artificial phenomena, while also assessing its feasibility and effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students. The method applied was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model that includes five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were obtained through validation questionnaires from media experts and material experts, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests. Data analysis was carried out through product feasibility tests, Shapiro Wilk normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations using SPSS version 25. The results showed that the media was 93% feasibility from media experts and 85% from material experts with a very feasible category. The t-test obtained a significance of 0.000 (<0.05) and an average N-Gain value of 0.3310 and 0.3406 in the moderate category. Thus, the media was declared feasible and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The global developments of the 21st century, marked by digital transformation and moral crisis, demand the strengthening of character education, particularly responsibility, in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning. This study aims to analyse the role of teacher exemplification in strengthening students' character of responsibility through a constructivist approach in IRE learning in Indonesia.. The study employed a narrative review 20 design to critically and integratively synthesize empirical studies published between 2021 and 2025, sourced from Sinta, Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar databases. Literature selection was conducted through systematic identification, screening, and eligibility evaluation based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using thematic extraction, conceptual comparison, and argumentative synthesis to identify dominant patterns and research gaps. The findings indicate that teacher role modeling functions as a central pedagogical instrument in internalizing responsibility through habituation, meaningful social interaction, and contextual learning experiences. The constructivist approach enhances this process by promoting active participation, reflective engagement, and value-based meaning construction. The integration of role modeling and social constructivism produces a more transformative character education process compared to normative instructional practices. Theoretically, this study proposes an integrative conceptual model linking teacher role modeling and social constructivism in Islamic character education. Practically, it provides a contextual framework for designing value-oriented IRE instruction that effectively fosters students’ responsibility character.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Scratch for Pancasila Education and to test its feasibility and effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. This study uses a research and development method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data are analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes, while qualitative data are used to describe the feasibility of the media based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and user responses. The results of the study indicate that the interactive learning media based on Scratch is declared feasible to use based on the results of expert validation with a very valid category. In addition, the results of the effectiveness test show an increase in student learning outcomes after using the developed learning media, indicated by the difference in pretest and posttest scores. The conclusion of this study is that the interactive learning media based on Scratch is feasible and effective to be used as an alternative learning media for Pancasila Education to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study has the following objectives. First, to describe the planning for implementing the GI Cooperative Learning Model in writing poetry texts for eighth-grade students at UPT SMP N 1 Pancung Soal. Second, to describe the implementation of the GI Cooperative Learning Model in writing poetry texts for eighth-grade students at UPT SMP N 1 Pancung Soal. Third, to describe the evaluation of the implementation of the GI Cooperative Learning Model in writing poetry texts for eighth-grade students at UPT SMP N 1 Pancung Soal. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The results indicate that: First, the planning for implementing the GI Cooperative Learning Model in writing poetry texts for eighth-grade students at UPT SMP N 1 Pancung Soal is optimal. The teacher has determined the learning topic and subtopics, compiled a module containing the syntax of the GI Cooperative Learning Model, created an assessment rubric, prepared learning media, and teaching materials. Second, the implementation of the GI Type Cooperative learning model in writing poetry texts for class VIII students of UPT SMP N 1 Pancung Soal has been carried out by the implementing teacher. Third, the evaluation of learning skills in writing poetry texts using process and outcome evaluation with assessment and observation rubrics, found that the implementation process was in accordance with the planning. Thus, it can be concluded that students' poetry writing skills have been at a good category level in accordance with the rules for writing good and correct poetry texts.

Abstract

This study wants to look at how Islamic religious values are taught through students' physical fitness and religious habit programs. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data was gathered by observing, having detailed conversations, and keeping records. Data analysis was done by reducing data, showing data, and drawing conclusions, using multiple sources and methods to check the results. The results show that habituation helps to instill values like faith, worship, morality, discipline, responsibility, hard work, and spirituality. The study finds that this habituation model works well as a way to build character education using Islamic values..
