Abstract

The high rate of inflation has the potential to increase poverty because it can reduce people's purchasing power, where if inflation rises significantly it can shift the people who are categorized as not poor, become vulnerable to poverty, almost poor and even poor. The aims of this study are to analyze the development of macroeconomic indicators, namely inflation and economic growth that are associated with poverty levels in the city of Bandung. The methodology used in this study is descriptive analysis and the ARMA (autoregressive moving average) model. The results showed that the high inflation in the city of Bandung compared to national and West Java inflation carries its own burden for the economy of the community, where purchasing power will decrease when inflation rises significantly and will have an impact on people's welfare. Inflation in the city of Bandung is often due to the price of food commodities (volatile food inflation). In addition, the high economic growth in the city of Bandung is not directly proportional to the decline in poverty levels. This shows that the quality of economic growth in the city of Bandung has problems that need attention. Therefore, local government in their efforts to encourage economic growth must prioritize poverty reduction and inequality.

The method used in this study is the use the type of sampling includes in the random sampling sample by distributing 206 questionnaires to consumers. The analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, including test coefficient of determination, multiple correlation coefficient, simultaneous test (F test), and partial test (t test). The results of the test coefficient of determination seen from the value (adjusted R2) of 0.854 can be interpreted that the effect of Emotional Value and Service Quality on consumer satisfaction is 85.7%. The remaining 14.6% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study. Abstract

Based on Law No. 21 of 2008 concerning Sharia banking, the 2-window banking principle in Indonesia will expire at the maximum in year 2023 where banks that have been running Sharia businesses using Sharia Business Units (UUS) will be forced to spin off or convert into commercial banks of Sharia. This study was conducted to predict bankruptcy at bank Aceh after conversion from conventional banks to Islamic banks in 2014-2018 using Z-Score method. The analysis technique in this study is using financial ratio ROA with the formula Z-Score = (ROA + E / A) / S.D ROA. This study concludes that H1 can be accepted because the Syariah after conversion shows that the change in risk level in sharia is better than when it was still a conventional Aceh bank.
