Abstract

Kabupaten Lombok Timur merupakan bagian penting dalam pengembangan pariwisata Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kegiatan PKM ini diselenggarakan di Desa Pengadangan Bara pada salah satu Trekking Organizer yang baru berkembang di Desa Wisata tersebut. PKM dilaksanakan selama dua bulan (Maret-April 2021) dalam bentuk asistensi, studi banding, dan fasilitasi bagi para pengelola dan tim kerja usaha jasa pendakian gunung tersebut. Hasil kegiatan PKM meliputi pemberian pelatihan kepada tour guides dan porter, perancangan nama perusahaan, logo dan website serta penyusunan paket wisata di luar kegiatan pendakian

Abstract

Desa Wisata menjadi trend destinasi wisata alternatif saat ini mengingat tingginya animo wisatawan untuk berwisata ke daerah pedesaan dengan suasana yang alamiah dan eksploratif. Desa Jurit Baru merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Lombok Timur yang baru dirintis menjadi destinasi wisata pedesaan. Program PKM ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa SWOT potensi wisata di salah satu Dusun yang ada di Desa tersebut yakni Dusun Mekar Sari. PKM ini juga bertujuan untuk memetakan beberapa paket wisata yang bisa dikembangkan dan dipromosikan kepada wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara. Melalui aktivitas pengamatan langsung, FGD, dan wawancara, tim PKM UNW Mataram telah memetakan beberapa keunggulan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan pengembangan Kampung Wisata Pendidikan serta merekomendasikan beberapa paket wisata edukatif.

Abstract

Lembaga Pendidikan Sosial dan Budaya Nurul Azhar merupakan salah satu sentra pemberdayaan masyarakat yang ada di desa Wisata Tetebatu, Lombok Timur. Dalam pengelolaannya lembaga ini mengalami tantangan berupa perizinan, keterbaasan sumber daya manusia, pemahaman tentang tata kelola lembaga dan lainnya. Untuk membantu memecahkan berbagai permasalahan tersebut tim PkM Universitas Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram berkolaborasi dengan Beruga’ Alam Institute untuk melakukan pendampingan untuk mengurus Perubahan Status Lembaga & Penyusunan AD/ART, registrasi lembaga di Kementrian Hukum dan Ham, pembentukan dan Pelantikan Pengurus Lembaga, Pengelolaan Kegiatan budaya dan Pendidikan serta promosi Lembaga Sebagai Destinasi Wisata Pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out the effect of direct-focused and direct-unfocused written corrective feedback in improving freshmen essay writing the use of preposition, article and past tense are investigated in students revision text and new pieces of essay writing. The study uses an experimental method and true-experimental design. Data collected from 60 students for 3 month. Data are analyzed by two-way ANOVAs using SPSS 21. The study found the significant effect of Direct-Focused CF. Likewise, using Direct-Unfocused CF has positive effect. Both groups outperform in revision and new pieces of writing than group without corrective feedback. In addition, there is positive interaction effect among the use of such corrective feedback and exposure. For that reason, it seems that is evidence underpinning the importance of such feedbacks and exposure in increasing students’ writing accuracy at using any grammatical items. Further study needs to be held in order to reveal the relationship or effect of students’ motivation, perception and engagement and typology of feedback in improving students writing performance.

Abstract

Research on tourism suggests that tourist guides are key representatives in the tourism industry in that they have contributed significantly to the satisfaction of visitors and are believed to determine whether or not the tourist will revisit destinations. The present study sought to investigate the perception of local tour guides Mas Mas village pertaining to their future carrier as tour guides and the roles they played in the profession. It also assessed the perceived learning needs as tour guides. There were five local tour guides and two potential employers taking part in this study. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion and semi-structured interviews and were analyzed by employing the five-phased cycle of qualitative data analysis. The findings of this study suggested that being a professional tour guide is a promising career and a prestigious career despite encountering negative perception from the local community. It also revealed the tour guides played as key factor to develop village based tourism. However, they believed to be in need of further training

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi yang bisa di kembangkan secara maksimal di Desa Selelos. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam tiga metode kegiatan yaitu kegiatan sosialisasi, pemetaan dan di akhiri dengan kegiatan pelatihan pengelolaan website bagi para anggota Pokdarwis Sengkeles Batu. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa dengan kegiatan identifikasi dan pemetaan, pokdarwis mendapatkan pengetahuan dan softskill tentang pengidentifikasian dan pemetaan yang bisa langsung diterapkan dalam mengetahui potensi potensi wisata yang ada di Desa Seleleos. Selain itu pokdarwis juga bisa mengetahui cara menggunakan dan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dalam memberikan kemudahan bagi pengunjung untuk menelusuri potensi wisata Desa Selelos. Dengan menggunakan SIG bisa teridentifikasi seluruh potensi wisata yanga ada di desa selelos sehingga melahirkan peta potensi yang menjadi acuan kunjungan wisata ke desa selelos. Selain itu hasil pemetaan ini juga bisa dimasukkan dalam website desa wisata dalam bentuk promo potensi wisata yang bisa di kembangkan secara berkelanjutan oleh pihak pokdarwis. mitra pokdarwis sengkeles batu mampu memetakkan potensi maksimal yang ada di desa selelos dengan menghasilkan sebuah inovasi untuk memeperkenalkan potensi wisata desa selelos. Pengenalan potensi wisata ini juga dapat dilakukan dengan pembuatan website desa wisata selelos yang pengelolaannya diserahkan ke pokdarwis untuk dikelola dengan baik dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis wisata pendidikan di SMK Al-Majidiyah NW Kesik bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep Pembelajaran Berbasis Wisata Pendidikan kepada guru dan siswa SMK, serta menfasilitasi kerjasama antara sekolah dan komunitas lokal dan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri. Tujuan ini mencakup membantu guru mengintegrasikan pembelajaran berbasis wisata pendidikan ke dalam kurikulum program keahlian Multimedia, menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan siswa melalui kegiatan proyek Pembelajaran Berbasis Wisata Pendidikan, serta menfasilitasi sekolah dalam pengadaan sarana dan prasarana design dan produksi multimedia. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk membangun kemitraan dengan komunitas dan DUDI. Manfaat kegiatan ini meliputi tumbuhnya motivasi belajar dan partisipasi siswa, terlatihnya kemampuan kerjasama antar siswa dan guru mata pelajaran, bertambahnya pemahaman tentang sejarah lokal, adanya publikasi kegiatan pembelajaran sebagai media promosi sekolah, dan terjalinnya kemitraan sekolah dengan komunitas dan DUDI untuk mendukung implementasi pembelajaran berbasis Wisata Pendidikan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pendampingan ini memberikan dampak positif bagi sekolah, siswa, guru, dan desa yang menjadi destinasi wisata pendidikan.

Abstract

The present study aimed at exploring the challenges of online learning practice and the response of students, parents, teachers and Madrassa head during the Covid 19 outbreak. The study employed narrative method involving 2 students, 2 parents of students, 4 teachers and a madrassa head and chairman of the foundation. Data was collected using interviews and participant observation techniques and analyzed using narrative analysis techniques. The results of this study show that online learning practices cannot run optimally due to the lack of learning support facilities and infrastructure such as mobile phones and internet access followed by a lack of readiness of human resources to carry out online learning. Another factor was the lack of parental support for the online learning process caused by low levels of educational awareness and busy work as farm workers and fishermen. The study also revealed that students showed varying responses to online learning while parents, teachers and madrassa head faced many challenges in their implementation.

Abstract

Pengadangan Barat Village has been designated as a tourist village in 2021, however it has not shown its existence as an attractive rural tourist destination to visit upto the present. This is due to the absence of a master plan for the development of tourism. This study aimed to map the tourism potential of Pengadangan Barat Village as well as the opportunities and challenges of its development into a village-based tourist destination. Using qualitative research method, this research involved the village government, members of tourism awareness groups, and village communities to become informants. Data were collected through participant observation techniques, FGDs, interviews and documentation and were analyzed qualitatively. This research revealed three categories of tourism potential owned by the Pengadangan Barat tourism village, namely natural potential, cultural and historical potential, and human resource potential. This research also concluded that western tourism villages can be developed into destinations for educational tourism, agritourism and sports or adventure tourism. The challenges of developing this village were in the form of the capacity of members of tourism awareness groups, village government policies, community participation and competition with other tourism villages. These challenges could be addressed by conducting intensive communication and cooperation with various relevant parties and asking for assistance from practitioners and academics.

Abstract

The digital era demands innovation in English language learning that not only focuses on linguistic competence but also integrates cultural literacy and soft skills. Web-based collaborative learning platforms become a solution to create an authentic and interactive learning environment. This study aims to develop the initial KITABOOKA platform as a collaborative English learning medium that integrates cultural literacy and soft skills through a web-based mentoring program using the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model. The research uses an R&D approach with the ADDIE model. However, in this study, we only use the first three stages (Analysis, Design, Development). Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and observations from 25 respondents consisting of students, university students, lecturers, and English teachers. Based on the analysis of user needs, this platform needs to be equipped with key features such as a learning module, English language learning activities, cultural literacy features, soft skills enhancement features, digital mentoring system features, and other general supporting features. Additionally, validation by seven experts showed that the initial design of the KITABOOKA platform received an average score of 4.55, categorized as very valid, covering aspects of content, appearance, technical, pedagogical, and usability. The analysis of the needs from users and experts indicates that the KITABOOKA platform already meets the feasibility standards as a collaborative digital learning platform and is ready to proceed to the limited testing phase in the next study.
