Abstract

High inflation can significantly pressure people's purchasing power as rising prices of goods and services reduce consumers' ability to meet daily needs. This study aims to analyze the Indonesian government's policies in mitigating the impact of inflation on purchasing power. The method used is library research by analyzing various literature and journals related to inflation, purchasing power, and macroeconomic policy in Indonesia. The results show that the government, through monetary and fiscal policies such as interest rate control, subsidies, and regulation of staple goods prices, plays a key role in maintaining price stability and purchasing power. Controlled inflation allows for balanced economic growth and supports public welfare. However, challenges remain in implementing these policies to ensure that the impact of inflation does not overly burden low-income groups.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the wak?lah bil ujrah contract in the practice of photo or greeting delivery services (jastip) conducted by the Instagram account @Babangkiwill_, with a focus on the conformity of the contract elements to the principles of fiqh mu??malah. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method through observation of the account’s activities, interviews with service providers and users, as well as documentation of posts and digital transactions. A literature review of classical fiqh sources and previous research is also used to strengthen the analysis. The findings indicate that this jastip practice essentially meets the characteristics of a wak?lah bil ujrah contract, particularly in the aspects of delegated authority and compensation. However, it still requires clarity regarding the service object, transparency of the ujrah (fee), and avoidance of gharar and tadl?s to ensure compliance with sharia principles. This study demonstrates that classical contracts can adapt to the digital creative economy, as long as sharia principles are upheld.

Abstract

Digital transformation at Pegadaian Syariah is an important step in responding to technological developments and the public’s need for fast and efficient financial services. Through the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS), pawn transactions can now be conducted online without compromising sharia principles. This study aims to examine how the Rahn and Ijarah contracts are implemented in online pawn services and to assess their compliance with the provisions of fiqh muamalah and legal regulations in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study, involving analysis of DSN-MUI fatwas, Islamic economics literature, and official documents from Pegadaian Syariah. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Rahn and Ijarah contracts in digital form fulfills sharia requirements because it is transparent, uses valid electronic signatures, and operates under the supervision of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS). This digital transformation not only increases the efficiency and security of services but also expands public access to sharia-compliant finance and supports the realization of maqashid sharia, namely public benefit and justice in modern economic transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the appropriateness of charging administrative fees in digital payment transactions using QRIS among micro-enterprises in light of the regulations of Bank Indonesia and the principles of Islamic economic law (sharia). Using a qualitative method with a prescriptive approach, this research evaluates whether such practice is right or wrong based on interview data from merchants and consumers, as well as a literature review related to digital payment systems, MDR regulation, and fiqh muamalah. The analysis finds that merchants’ imposition of QRIS administrative fees constitutes conduct that is not aligned with regulatory provisions, violates consumer protection principles, and contradicts the principles of fairness, transparency, and the concept of ‘iwadh in muamalah. The findings affirm that QRIS administrative fees are invalid both from a regulatory and sharia perspective, thereby necessitating stronger education and oversight to ensure fair and sharia-compliant digital transaction practices.

Abstract

The rapid growth of multi-level marketing (MLM) companies in Indonesia, including those claiming to adopt a sharia-based system, raises questions regarding the conformity of their business mechanisms with Islamic economic law principles. This study aims to analyze the level of sharia compliance in the network marketing practices of PT Bandung Eco Sinergi Teknologi (PT BEST). A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method is employed to examine PT BEST’s business system based on muamalah principles and the provisions of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 75/DSN-MUI/VII/2009 on Sharia-Compliant Multi-Level Direct Selling. Primary data were collected through interviews with distributors and management, observations of training and marketing activities, and documentation studies of company regulations and bonus schemes. The findings indicate that PT BEST has made efforts to implement a sharia-compliant network marketing model by providing real and beneficial products and explicitly avoiding riba-related practices. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly the balance between product sales and member recruitment, the transparency of bonus distribution, and the effectiveness of sharia supervision. The study concludes that PT BEST’s business system partially fulfills sharia principles and offers recommendations for strengthening more ethical, transparent, and equitable network marketing practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of digitalization in the zakat payment system at BAZNAS Bandung City and its impact on management efficiency and community engagement. The rationale behind this investigation stems from the necessity for zakat organizations to embrace technological advancements to enhance transparency, accountability, and service accessibility. The methodology used is qualitatively descriptive, involving interviews, observations, and documentation from BAZNAS stakeholders and digital service users. The findings indicate that the deployment of the BAZNAS Digital Office framework and additional digital platforms has facilitated zakat payments, expanded the scope of collection, and improved transparency in distribution processes. Moreover, digitalization has encouraged the involvement of non-civil servant communities in consistent and effective zakat practices. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy, technical malfunctions, and concerns regarding data security. In summary, the digital transformation of zakat at BAZNAS Bandung City represents a significant step toward contemporary, efficient, and accountable zakat administration. Enhancing human resource capacity and system security is crucial to maintaining public trust. Practically, this study underscores the importance of collaboration between zakat institutions and the technology sector to strengthen the social impact of zakat in the digital era.
