Abstract

This study examines the practice of purchasing digital items in the Roblox game from the perspective of maqasid al-syari‘ah, with a specific focus on the principle of protection of wealth. Using a qualitative descriptive method and a maqasid-based analytical approach, this research explores players’ consumption behavior, motivations, and the ethical dimensions of digital spending. Data were obtained through interviews with two Roblox players and an academic expert, supported by relevant literature. The findings show that the purchase of Robux and in-game items is generally conducted for recreational purposes and remains within acceptable financial limits when basic needs are fulfilled and spending is controlled. While such transactions are categorized as permissible according to Islamic economic principles, they carry potential risks such as impulsive spending, digital addiction, and exposure to inappropriate content. The study concludes that purchasing digital items in Roblox is allowed as long as it does not lead to wastefulness, harm, or neglect of obligations. Implementing moderation and financial awareness is essential to ensure alignment with maqasid al-syari‘ah, particularly in protecting wealth and preserving moral values within digital consumption practices.

Abstract

The cultivation of Pancasila values from elementary school is a strategic step in shaping the character of the nation’s future generation. This study aims to describe how activities that promote Pancasila values are implemented through game-based learning for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 050 Cibiru, Bandung City. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach focused on internalizing the values of Divinity, Humanity, and Unity. Learning activities included lectures, discussions, Q&A sessions, contextual learning, and role-play, which allowed students to actively and practically engage in understanding each principle. The results indicate that the game-based learning model can boost students’ confidence in sharing opinions, foster tolerance, appreciate differences, and practice mutual cooperation during class activities. Additionally, students showed high enthusiasm and were able to connect Pancasila values to everyday life. Therefore, game-based learning is effective in reinforcing understanding and appreciation of Pancasila values among elementary students and can be recommended as an alternative method in character education.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the second principle of Pancasila, “Just and Civilized Humanity,” in the daily activities of 4th- and 5th-grade students at SDN Cinunuk 3. Using a qualitative method through case studies and direct observation, this research explores students’ understanding and practice of humanitarian values, fairness, and civility in their interactions with peers, teachers, and the school environment. The findings show that although students have received instruction on Pancasila, there remains a gap between their conceptual understanding and its application in daily behavior. These results suggest the need to strengthen character education and implement more effective Pancasila learning methods at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Pancasila is the fundamental ideology of the Indonesian state and should serve as a guiding principle in national and civic life; however, the implementation of its values within society remains limited. In the educational context, Islamic boarding schools pondok pesantren play a crucial role in character formation based on Pancasila values, particularly the Second Principle, “Just and Civilized Humanity,” which aligns with the pesantren’s mission to develop generations with akhlaqul karimah (noble character). These values are believed to be implemented through moral development and residential routines at Pondok Quran Boarding School. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and describe specifically how the values of the Second Principle of Pancasila are actualized in efforts to build students’ character at Pondok Quran Boarding School. This study employs a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach with a qualitative design that emphasizes active involvement and collaboration between the researchers (university students) and participants (students). The actualization of Pancasila values, particularly the Second Principle, was carried out through socialization activities and a series of stages, including planning, preliminary observation, implementation of educational activities in the field, and reflection. The findings indicate that the PAR approach through interactive educational programs is effective as a medium for the actualization and internalization of the Second Principle of Pancasila among junior high school students. These activities make a tangible contribution to strengthening students’ character by fostering respect for human dignity, building civilized relationships, and creating a culture of mutual respect and a healthy learning environment within the school.

Abstract

This article examines the importance of education in shaping students’ character through the internalization of Pancasila values, particularly the second principle, “Just and Civilized Humanity,” and the third principle, “The Unity of Indonesia.” According to Law No. 20 of 2003, education aims to develop students’ potential to possess intelligence, personality, noble character, and social skills. This study employs a qualitative method to understand the implementation of Pancasila values in a socialization activity themed “Stop Bullying and Practice Caring for Others,” conducted by students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung on November 7, 2025, at Babakan Bandung Public Elementary School, involving classes 6A and 6B. A series of activities were carried out, including an initial survey, delivery of material on bullying, ice-breaking sessions, Q&A, and the creation of a “Tree of Emotional Expressions” as a medium to express the emotional impact of bullying. The results indicate an increased student understanding of the importance of mutual respect, empathy, and maintaining unity in social life. The implementation of Pancasila values is shown to effectively promote positive character formation while minimizing bullying behavior. This article concludes that value-based education grounded in Pancasila is highly relevant in the era of globalization, with recommendations to expand similar activities to other schools and involve families and communities to strengthen character development comprehensively.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation of the state and the worldview of the Indonesian nation, provides moral guidance for all societal activities, including efforts to maintain health and prevent sexual violence. The values embodied in Pancasila must be realized concretely in daily life so that they do not remain merely ideal concepts, but truly shape the character of the nation. One important form of implementation is the cultivation of awareness regarding physical health, mental health, and self-protection from sexual violence from an early age. This is in line with the second principle, “Just and Civilized Humanity,” which emphasizes respect for human dignity, and the fifth principle, “Social Justice for All Indonesian People,” which mandates the fulfillment of safety and well-being for all citizens. In this Pancasila actualization activity, we provided education on the importance of maintaining reproductive health, understanding bodily boundaries, recognizing behaviors that may constitute sexual violence, and identifying the appropriate steps to report incidents either as victims or witnesses. The material was delivered through interactive methods, educational games, and light discussions to ensure it was easily understood by participants. This program aims to enhance awareness and courage within the community, particularly among adolescents, to protect themselves, maintain their health, and apply Pancasila values in addressing issues of sexual violence in their surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and implementation of Pancasila values, particularly Belief in the One Almighty God and Just and Civilized Humanity, which were actualized through a short (one-day) intervention program for students at Al-Ghifari Elementary School. This study is based on a community service program implemented over a limited period. The method used is descriptive qualitative, focusing on pre- and post-evaluation of the one-day activity. Data were collected through direct observation during the program implementation and reflections from educators. The results of this short activity indicate that the values of Belief in the One Almighty God were internalized through interactive education sessions based on religion and tolerance. Meanwhile, the values of Humanity were actualized through educational game simulations that emphasize the importance of honesty, justice, and empathy among students. Despite the short (one-day) program, there was an increase in students' enthusiasm and initial understanding of these values, which are important foundations for character building.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation of the state and a guideline for the life of society, needs to be applied concretely in daily activities so that it does not remain merely an idea without practice. Instilling the values of Pancasila is important from early childhood, as children at this stage are more easily guided and shaped. This activity focuses on internalizing the values of the first principle, “Belief in the One and Only God,” and the third principle, “The Unity of Indonesia,” through the introduction of religious teachings according to each child's belief and the habituation of attitudes such as mutual respect and cooperation. Group 1 of the Pancasila Education course at the State Islamic University Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung carried out an activity to actualize Pancasila values at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Nurul Ilmi, Kp. Tanjakan Muncang RT 002/RW 007, Cileunyi Wetan Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency, on October 28, 2025. The material provided included introductions to basic Islamic teachings and daily prayers, delivered through learning-by-playing methods and the provision of gifts as motivation for the children. This activity aims to help the students understand religious values and the value of unity in a simple way, enabling them to practice these values in their daily lives.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, especially the internet, has driven significant changes in the world of education, including in higher education. One form of its application is the use of a Moodle-based e-learning system as a means of supporting the learning process. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Moodle-based e-learning in improving the effectiveness of learning activities at AMIK Stikom Tunas Bangsa Siantar, and compare it with conventional learning methods. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative, involving 43 third-semester students in the Computer Architecture and Organization course. Data collection techniques include interviews, open and closed questionnaires, observation, documentation, and tests to measure learning outcomes. The research process is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage (preparation of RPS and Moodle-based modules), the implementation stage (implementation of synchronous and asynchronous learning), and the reporting stage (analysis of results and preparation of scientific articles). The research results show that implementing Moodle-based e-learning offers several advantages over conventional methods, such as increased interaction between lecturers and students, flexibility in learning time and location, ease of access to materials, and ease of online learning evaluation. Furthermore, e-learning also encourages lecturers to be more creative in developing digital teaching materials and improving their skills in utilizing educational technology. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementing Moodle-based e-learning can improve the quality of the learning process in higher education. The success of its implementation depends not only on the readiness of software, hardware, and internet networks, but also on the lecturers' competence in effectively managing digital learning systems.
