Abstract

The construction sector is a sector that employs many people who have high risk of work accidents, because a lot of work in this sector is possibility carried out by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions. PT. Arto Moro Sentosa is company which operates in general trading, general construction, suppliers, outsourcing, etc., is aware that the business has a high risk of work accidents. The lack of employee awareness will have an impact on the magnitude of the risks that must be borne by the worker and the company. The purpose of this research is determining work accident records for the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system, employee risks, and existing improvements at company. By knowing the classification of hazards based on the type of accident, this research uses the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method, histograms, Pareto diagrams, and cause-and-effect (fish bone) diagrams. Based on the author's observations, company data related to OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) and interviews with the directors, could be obtained a history of work accidents based on the type of accident. Here are ergonomic work accidents (57.89%), physical factor accidents ( 31.58%), chemical factor accidents (5.26%), biological factor accidents (5.26%), and psychological factor accidents (0%). Several recommendation is performed to avoid repeated accident by providing training programs on OHS to workers, paying more attention to OHS supervision, giving sanctions to workers who violate OHS.

Abstract

Mathematical communication ability is essential, especially in learning geometry to understand trigonometric comparisons. However, many students still face difficulties in communicating mathematical problem-solving processes. Augmented Reality (AR) visualizes 2D and 3D objects, helping solve problems and improving communication. This study aims to develop and evaluate the quality of teaching materials and worksheets (LKPD) assisted by AR on geometric comparison topics to enhance students' mathematical communication ability. The research uses the Plomp development model, which includes initial investigation, design, realization/construction, testing, evaluation, revision, and implementation phases. Validation involves five experts, consisting of two lecturers and three subject teachers, while the practicality test includes 33 high school students in Banten, Indonesia. The study results show that the teaching materials and LKPD achieve an average validity of 88.25% (very valid), practicality of 88.2% (very practical), and effectiveness based on student activity observation sheets of 85.6%. The students’ test results reach 86.6% (very effective). The mathematical communication test also indicates that 10 students are in the moderate category, and 23 students have high communication ability, with an N-Gain of 64.2% (quite effective). Based on these results, the teaching materials and AR-assisted LKPD are valid, practical, and effective, making them suitable for mathematics learning.

Abstract

Abstract

A pharmacy is a healthcare establishment that serves not just as a drugstore but also provides more intricate pharmaceutical services. A primary challenge in pharmacy management is guaranteeing the presence of safe medications and managing drugs approaching their expiration date. Apotek Via Farma is presently struggling with managing its medication inventory, especially in tracking and distributing drugs nearing their expiration date. The existing manual management system raises the likelihood of mistakes and lessens the pharmacy's operational effectiveness. This study intends to establish a drug inventory management system utilizing the FEFO (First Expired First Out) approach at Apotek Via Farma to tackle this problem. The FEFO approach prioritizes the distribution of medications that are nearing their expiration dates. Earlier research has demonstrated that this approach is successful in minimizing losses from expired medications and enhancing service quality.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital society demands the strengthening of 21st-century skills from an early age, including computational thinking (CT). However, the integration of CT in early childhood education remains limited, particularly due to teachers’ lack of conceptual understanding and pedagogical strategies. This community service program aimed to assist early childhood teachers, members of HIMPAUDI, in integrating computational thinking through unplugged activities using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The program involved 16 teachers and was conducted through collaborative stages, including problem identification, joint action planning, workshop implementation, simulation, reflection, and evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of CT concepts, their ability to design unplugged activities, and their confidence in classroom implementation. The participatory process enabled teachers to recognize that computational thinking can be embedded in play-based learning through structured activities such as sequencing, pattern recognition, and algorithmic instruction. Beyond individual competency enhancement, the program also fostered the formation of a community of practice and the emergence of local leaders within the teacher group, indicating early signs of social transformation. Theoretically, the findings reinforce the perspective that computational thinking is not limited to digital programming but represents a systematic way of thinking that can be developed through concrete and contextual learning experiences. The PAR approach proved effective in promoting sustainable pedagogical change by positioning teachers as active agents of transformation. This program demonstrates that integrating CT through unplugged activities is a feasible, inclusive, and sustainable strategy for strengthening early childhood education in the 21st century.
