Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya kompetensi kepribadian yang dimiliki guru di SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi siswa tentang: tentang: 1) kepribadian yang berakhlak mulia dan dapat menjadi teladan, 2) kepribadian guru yang mantap dan stabil, 3) kepribadian yang dewasa, 4) kepribadian yang arif dan 5) kepribadian yang berwibawa. di SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas XI dan XII yang berjumlah 243 orang siswa SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. Sampel berjumlah 78 orang, diambil menggunakan teknik stratified proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner atau angket model skala Likert yang telah diuji cobakan untuk melihat validitas dan reliabilitasnya pada tingkat kepercayaan 5%. Yang hasilnya dari 40 item pernyataan, 37 item valid dan 3 item invalid, kemudian pernyataan yang tidak valid dianggap gugur serta dinyatakan reliabel. Data diolah menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang: (a) kepribadian guru yang berakhlak mulia dan dapat menjadi teladan 4,40, (b) kepribadian guru yang mantap dan stabil 3,96, (c) kepribadian guru yang dewasa 3,90, (d) kepribadian guru yang arif 3,89 dan (e) kepribadian guru yang berwibawa 3,88. Jadi kompetensi kepribadian guru sudah mampu diterapkan oleh guru di SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang yaitu dengan skor rata-rata 4,01 berdasarkan persepsi siswanya.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) describe the teacher's perception of the implementation of the principal's leadership function in Public Middle School, Nanggalo District, Padang City, (2) describe the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the instruction function from teacher perceptions in Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City , (3) describes the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the consulting function from teacher perceptions in the Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, (4) describes the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the participation function from teacher perceptions in the Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, ( 5) describe the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the delegation function from the perceptions of teachers at SMP Negeri Nanggalo District, Padang City, and (6) describe the implementation of the leadership of the school principal from the implementation of the control function from teacher perceptions at SMP Negeri Nanggalo District, Padang City. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in the study were teachers at Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, totaling 57 samples. Sampling using simple proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used for research is a closed questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on instruction was very good with the highest average of 4.7, (2) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on consultative was very good with the highest average of 4.74, ( 3) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on participation is good with the highest average of 4.58, (4) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on delegation is very good with the highest average of 4.67, and (5) the teacher's perception of the implementation leadership function based on good control with the highest average of 4.58.

This study aims to find out (1) to describe the school climate towards staff freedom at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, (2) to describe the school climate towards professional interest at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, (3) to describe the school climate towards affiliation at the Public Middle School Koto Tangah Padang District, (4) describes the school climate towards support for students at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District, (5) describes the school climate towards the completeness of resources at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in the study were teachers at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, totaling 72 samples. Sampling using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used for research is a closed questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the school climate towards staff freedom at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School was conducive with the highest average of 4.6, (2) the school climate towards professional interest at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School was very conducive with an average the highest average is 4.75, (3) the school climate towards affiliation at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School is conducive with the highest average 4.54, (4) the school climate towards supporting students at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School is very conducive with the highest average is 4.75, (5) the school climate for the completeness of resources at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District is very conducive with the highest average being 4.67. The conclusion is that the school climate in SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District is conducive from all aspects, namely from staff freedom, professional interest, affiliation, support for students and to the completeness of resources.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the organisational climate in the education office and West Pasaman district seen from indicators of warmth, innovation, cooperation, openness, support and responsibility in the West Pasaman District Education and Culture Office. This type of research is descriptive research. The research population was all employees at the West Pasaman Regency Education and Culture Office, totaling 72 people. Determination of the magnitude is determined by the Slovin formula, withdrawal using saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale and tested its validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data collected is analysed by finding the average and categorising the level of achievement. The results showed that organisational climate was seen 1) warmth 4.3, 2) innovation 4.3, 3) collaboration 4.4, 4) openness 4.4 5) support 4.3 and 6) responsibility 4.3. So the organisational climate in the Pasaman Barat district education office is included in the conducive category with an average score of 4.4.
