Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model in improving the critical thinking skills to fifth-grade students in the IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) subject at SDN Cengklik, as well as to identify the challenges fade. The background of the study is the low critical thinking skills of students due to the lack of variety in the teaching models used. The purpose of this study are : a) Knowing the mechanism of the Inquiry Mwthod can be used to improve critical thinking skills, b) Knowing the rolse of thinking, c) Knowing the characteristics of the critical thinking. The study employs a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design, and the sample is selcted through purposive sampling. Data analysis is conducted using the independent sample t-test with spss 25. The results show that the guided inquiry model signuficantly that this model students’s crotical thinking skills compared to conventional teaching methods, indicating that this model is effective use in ipas instruction.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between the self-efficacy variable and the cognitive learning outcome variable. The research design taken is correlational research with data collection techniques in the form of tests and scales. The research population is the entire student PGSD UNS Forces 2021. Sampling is done using the random cluster sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is simple correlation coefficient analysis. From the results of data analysis can be drawn the conclusion that there is no positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and cognitive learning outcomes with the acquisition of a significance value of 0,657 > 0,05 with a pearson correlation value of -0,054.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of academic resilience and grit in PGSD FKIP UNS students. The study used a quantitative descriptive analysis research design. Respondents in this study were 66 Surakarta UNS PGSD students class of 2023 who were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used are the academic resilience scale and the grit scale which consists of favorable and unfavorable items. The results showed that 84.6% of students had high academic resilience, and 15.2% of students had moderate academic resilience. In addition, 90.9% of students have moderate grit and 9.1% of students have low grit. There are variations in the level of academic resilience and grit in students. Therefore, it is important for students to train and optimize their non-cognitive abilities, besides that lecturers can also provide support and assistance through guidance services and learning activities they carry out.

Abstract

Minat belajar siswa terhadap lagu daerah menunjukkan variasi yang beragam sehingga perlu dikaji dalam perspektif spektrum minat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan spektrum minat belajar siswa terhadap lagu daerah dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method) dengan desain sekuensial explanatory. Tahap kuantitatif dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat minat belajar siswa melalui angket, sedangkan tahap kualitatif digunakan untuk memperdalam temuan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 69 siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Gonilan 02 serta guru sebagai informan pendukung. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan secara deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa terhadap lagu daerah berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 57,03. Sebanyak 56,52% siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, 39,13% kategori sedang, dan 4,35% kategori rendah. Jika ditinjau berdasarkan indikator, perhatian memperoleh persentase tertinggi (78,55%), diikuti ketertarikan (77,27%), keterlibatan (73,04%), dan perasaan senang (71,74%). Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa terhadap lagu daerah berada dalam suatu spektrum yang mencerminkan variasi tingkat minat dari rendah hingga tinggi. Variasi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti perasaan senang, ketertarikan, perhatian, motivasi, dan keterlibatan, serta faktor eksternal yang meliputi peran guru, metode pembelajaran, lingkungan keluarga, dan pengaruh media digital. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, kontekstual, dan menarik untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa terhadap lagu daerah sekaligus mendukung pelestarian budaya melalui pendidikan dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review (PQ4R) terhadap kemampuan membaca intensif peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri pada Gugus Ahmad Yani, Kecamatan Laweyan, Kota Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 yang terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan membaca intensif berbentuk uraian yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, keseimbangan, independent sample t-test, serta perhitungan N-Gain pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan metode PQ4R terhadap kemampuan membaca intensif peserta didik, ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi < 0,001. Rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen (0,6355) berada pada kategori sedang atas dan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0,2813) yang berada pada kategori rendah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode PQ4R efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan secara mendalam melalui tahapan pembelajaran yang sistematis. Oleh karena itu, metode PQ4R dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran membaca intensif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Art education is effectively implemented for elementary school students regarded the formation of learning circumstances that provide chances for children in an effort to develop a child's sense of sensitivity, imagination, and creativity, but remain under control. The research was conducted to find out the relevance between the current art education with Ki Hadjar Dewantara's art education ideology. The research was conducted with the subjects of grade 2 elementary school students and class teachers. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method with triangulation data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the research are that the teacher not only teaches the dance, but also the values comprised in the dance so that students can understand the message or content conveyed from the dance, even though students have not been able to convey messages to the audience through non-verbal movements. There are three aspects that must be fulfilled, namely Wiraga, Wirama and Wirasa. However, two of those aspects, wirama and wirasa, have not been maximized. Not all learners are able to harmonize movements with the rhythm, and live the dance movements performed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu guna mengetahui sikap nasionalisme peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di masa pembelajaran pasca daring. Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden No. 87 Tahun 2017 tentang PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter) terdapat lima nilai karakter utama yaitu, nilai religius, nilai nasionalis, nilai integritas, nilai kemandirian, dan nilai gotong royong. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila merupakan salah satu sarana utama dalam pendidikan untuk menanamkan sikap nasionalisme pada peserta didik. Hal tersebut didukung dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan No. 23 Tahun 2006 yang menyebutkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan mata pelajaran yang berfokus guna membentuk warga negara agar lebih memahami dan dapat melaksanakan segala hak dan kewajiban sebagai seorang warga negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV dan 28 peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Serengan 2 Surakarta. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian validitas penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Sementara teknik analisis data yang didapatkan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang didapatkan, sikap nasionalisme peserta didik kelas IV ditinjau dari indikator rela berkorban, disiplin, jujur dan berani, cinta tanah air, serta persatuan dan kesatuan dapat dibilang tinggi karena peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri Serengan 2 menunjukkan perilaku dominan yang mencerminkan kelima indikator yang telah dirumuskan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the learning discipline of fourth grade students of SDIT Salsabila 6 Magetan during online learning of Civics on rights and obligations. The research approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data collection techniques is interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research is based on the interactive analysis techniques of Miles and Huberman. Data validity by Triangulation of sources and use of reference materials. The results of the study indicate that Civics learning on rights and obligations is carried out online through Whatsapp media. Students have shown obedience to learning activities at school as a form of learning obligation for students. Students have not shown their activeness during learning. This is caused by learning materials that are easy to understand, factors that decrease enthusiasm for learning, signal problems, cellphones brought by parents, and online learning that is not yet oriented to students. These factors also affect the inaccuracy of students in completing assignments. During online learning, the rights of students are fulfilled. Students get material rights and obligations, get feedback, and rewards even though it has not been fully implemented.Kata kunci:        Learning Discipline, Online Learning, PPKn, Elementary School

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the teacher's efforts in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation in extracurricular scout learning. This is motivated by recent cases that have affected the quality of Indonesian education due to the low moral values of students. This research uses a qualitative approach descriptive method with data sources of the principal, extracurricular scout teachers and grade IV students at SDN 2 Kalikebo, Trucuk, Klaten. Data were collected through three techniques, namely observation, interviews and document studies for four meetings. Data analysis used interactive analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study show several teacher efforts that can fulfill the indicators of the gotong royong character. This research can add insight for teachers and prospective teachers in implementing character strengthening, both the character of gotong royong and other characters.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between motivation and learning discipline with critical thinking skills. The respondents of this research are 85 students of 5th grade from three elementary schools in Kranggan district. This research is correlational quantitative research. Data collected by using test techniques for critical thinking skills. As for the motivation and learning discipline, the data is collected by using non-test techniques. The validity of the questionnaire is obtained using content validity. In calculating the final results, it is found that the correlation between independent variable, learning motivation, and the dependent variable, critical thinking skills result in such a low category of 0,372. The effective contribution of learning motivation to critical thinking skills is 11,5% and the relative contribution is 56,3%. Whereas, the correlation between independent variable, learning discipline, and the dependent variable, critical thinking skills, the strength of the correlation is low, which is equal to 0,337. The effective contribution of learning discipline  to critical thinking skills is 8,9% and the relative contribution is 43,6%. The contribution of motivation and learning discipline to critical thinking skills simultaneously is 20.5% through multiple regressions with the results of Sig. F change of 0.000> 0.05
