Abstract

Insecurity is a psychological condition that can significantly hinder the development of self-confidence. This study aims to examine the implications of insecurity on students’ self-confidence. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with selected participants. The data analysis process involved selecting, focusing, simplifying, abstracting, and transforming the information obtained. The findings reveal that insecurity manifests in various forms, such as persistent feelings of inferiority, low self-esteem, constant self-comparison with others, and heightened awareness of personal shortcomings when observing others’ strengths. These conditions lead students to perceive others as more capable, more attractive, or more easily loved, which in turn diminishes their own sense of worth and self-confidence. The study highlights the need for targeted interventions to help students build a positive self-concept and overcome the negative effects of insecurity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap peningkatan literasi keuangan siswa sekolah menengah atas negeri 7 Kota Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 siswa (12 eksperimen, 12 kontrol) yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji t sampel berpasangan dan uji t sampel independen. Hasil Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen (Sig. 0,007), yang menunjukkan bahwa kelompok intervensi bimbingan efektif secara internal. Namun, hasil Independent Sample t-Test menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (Sig. 0.373 > 0.05). Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa metode bimbingan kelompok yang diterapkan belum memberikan pengaruh yang secara statistik kuat terhadap peningkatan literasi keuangan siswa dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

In the learning process, there will always be various problems, such as students who have difficulty in learning, causing low student achievement. One way that can be used to help students who have difficulties in learning is by providing learning assistance in the form of remedial teaching. Through remedial teaching, it is expected to be able to improve student achievement which is quite low. This study aims to determine the effect of remedial teaching on student achievement before and after remedial at SD Negeri Caringin 02. The variables in this study were remedial teaching as the independent variable and student achievement as the dependent variable. The population is all students of SD Negeri Caringin 02 which consists of 254 students. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique with the criteria for the test results of students who did not reach the KKM as many as 40 students. The data collection technique used is documentation, namely student achievement data on the final exam for PAI subjects. The data analysis technique used is the Paired Sample T-Test. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, the results of the Paired Sample T-Test test obtained the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 where this value is smaller than 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. The average value before remedial implementation was 69.53 and the average after remedial implementation was 79.08. This means that with the implementation of remedial teaching, student achievement will increase. So it can be concluded that the remedial teaching variable has a significant effect on student achievement.  Keywords: Remedial Teaching, Student Achievement

Abstract

Online games are games that utilize the internet network to access them and can be played simultaneously via each user's gadget. The development of science and technology (IPTEK) is one proof of the increasingly advanced times. Meanwhile, social interaction is a relationship between one individual and another individual, one individual can influence another individual or vice versa, so there is a reciprocal relationship. This research aims to determine the influence of online games on the social interactions of teenagers in Cipayung Village (case study in Cipayung Village RT05/RW05). The method used in this research is a quantitative approach and uses a correlational method. Based on research that has been carried out, researchers found that there is a negative influence between online games on the social interactions of teenagers in Cipayung Village. This is proven by the results of the Product Moment Person correlation test with a p value of 0.079 < 0.05 Ha accepted Ho rejected. This can be concluded that the use of online games influences social interaction among teenagers in Cipayung village.
