Abstract

Compounds called antioxidants are particularly beneficial to human health. Antioxidant substances are frequently utilized as free radicals because they can prevent the growth of oxidation reactions. Because of their high antioxidant content, moringa seeds produce oil that is resistant to rancidity and does not easily oxidize.  The peel-off gel mask formulation in this investigation included Moringa seed oil extract as a source of natural components. The goal of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant activity of a peel-off gel mask preparation made from Moringa seed oil extract. Maceration extraction is the technique used for extraction, and DPPH is the technique used to test for antioxidants. The results showed that the sample with a solvent volume of 450 ml had the best yield (34.64%), and the antioxidant activity of the extract of Moringa seed oil was measured at 256.89 g/ml with an average pH of 5.79.  The Moringa seed oil extract peel-off gel mask has the attributes of being white, thick, and smelling like moringa seeds. The peel-off gel mask gets thicker the more Moringa seed oil extract there is in it. This study establishes the potential of using Moringa seed oil extract in peel-off gel mask formulations extract in peel-off gel mask formulations.

Abstract

Education is a process carried out by teachers and students when learning is carried out in the classroom. At this time the school began implementing an independent curriculum. The implementation of independent curriculum management in improving the quality of education at the Bukittinggi City MIN involves the education unit committee and various stakeholders including parents, organizations, various centers, under the coordination and supervision of the Bukittinggi City Education Office. The purpose of the study was to analyze the management of: (1) learning organization; (2) learning planning; (3) evaluation, mentoring and professional development. The research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research location is MIN Bukittinggi City. The research subjects are the implementers of the independent curriculum management, namely the principal, vice principal, teachers and learning committee. The results showed that the management of the implementation of the independent curriculum was effective and meaningful so as to improve the quality of education at MIN Kota Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This study focus to describe the role of aqidah moral teachers in overcoming student delinquency at MTs Al Fatah Sragi. Then the purpose of this research is to describe the steps of the Aqidah Akhlak teacher in overcoming student delinquency at MTs Al Fatah Sragi. The type of research used in this research is to use a descriptive qualitative approach, while the data collection procedure uses three techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The process of data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Then to check the validity of the data using source triangulation. Based on the results of the study it was found that the teacher of the moral creed has a role as an educator. The role of the moral creed teacher as an educator is to train attitudes and mentality by giving responsibility, setting an example by giving an example of how to look neat, speak politely and be kind, building an open attitude by maintaining good communication with students, cultivate the nature of discipline by making rules in the classroom with penalties if students violate them, providing moral values ​​by making habituations such as getting used to practicing good morals. While the steps taken by the teacher of aqidah morals in dealing with student delinquency are conducting supervision of students, routine guidance and counseling for students, and special approaches to children who are already showing symptoms of delinquency.

Abstract

As a center for learning about the Islamic religion, Pondok Pesantren is the best place to read and study the Quran, which is the main source and reference for Muslim behaviour. However, not all beginners who study religious knowledge at Pondok Pesantren have the ability and fluency to read the Quran. The location of this research is at the Pondok Pesantren Perguruan Darulfunun El-Abbasiyah, Limapuluh Kota Regency. This research is a report on the implementation of increasing Quran reading literacy with a recitation program for early students at the Tsanawiyah or Aliyah formal education level. Research on the implementation of this recitation program uses the DOE method, also using observation, interview and continuous evaluation techniques. Implementation is evaluated repeatedly against the targets achieved by students in each semester. The results of the implementation of this program show that the implementation of the recitation program is considered effective in increasing students' Quran reading literacy. This is because the application of the recitation program is very appropriate as an effort to speed up the fluency of reading the al-Quran for students who experience delays in reading the Al-Quran. This report is useful for the institution in particular and the development of Al-Quran reading skills for the entire community in general.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains dibutuhkan sebagai bekal calon guru tidak hanya dalam membangun pengetahuan akademik namun berguna juga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Keterampilan ini dapat dilatih dan dikembangkan salah satunya dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan praktikum. Memfasilitasi hal tersebut, maka dikembangkanlah modul Praktikum IPA berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada Program Studi PGMI yang valid dan praktis. Pengembangan modul praktikum ini merujuk pada model 4-D Thiagarajan dengan tahapan define, design, develop, namun tanpa disseminate. Validitas produk diperoleh dari tim ahli materi dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, sedangkan kepraktisan produk diperoleh melalui uji coba praktisi (1 dosen pengampu matakuliah), kelompok (5 mahasiswa), dan lapangan (15 mahasiswa) yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa (1) validasi ahli materi memperoleh kriteria cukup valid, (2) validasi ahli pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran memperoleh kriteria sangat valid, dan (3) rata-rata hasil uji coba memperoleh kriteria sangat praktis, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam perkuliahan praktikum IPA Sekolah Dasar sebagai salah satu sumber belajar.

Abstract

Kemangi merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia dan mempunyai kemampuan yang sangat baik dalam melawan bakteri. Kemangi mengandung bahan aktif berupa minyak atsiri, alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid, triterpenoid, steroid, tanin dan fenol yang beberapa di antaranya memiliki sifat antibakteri. Pada penelitian ini, kami berencana mengembangkan sabun cuci tangan berbahan dasar daun kemangi sebagai bahan alternatif. Daun kemangi diekstraksi melalui tiga tahap: pengeringan, ekstraksi (sonikasi), dan penguapan. Pengujian efek penghambatan ekstrak daun kemangi terhadap pertumbuhan Escherichia coli dan Staphylococcus aureus menunjukkan adanya zona hambat. Pengujian dilakukan pada beberapa konsentrasi ekstrak yaitu 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, 10%, 12,5%. Di sini kontrol positif dilakukan dengan etanol 70% dan kontrol negatif dilakukan dengan air steril. Dari hasil penelitian, konsentrasi optimal ekstrak daun kemangi yang digunakan sebagai bahan aktif adalah 7,5 cm, zona hambat E. coli 1,3 cm, dan zona hambat Staphylococcus aureus 1,325 cm pada konsentrasi pelarut 70%. Pada konsentrasi ekstrak 2,5%, diameter zona hambat merupakan diameter minimum untuk kedua bakteri, dan pada konsentrasi 2,5%–12,5%, diameter zona hambat semakin meningkat.Kata kunci: Kemangi, E. coli, Sabun cuci tangan, Sonifikasi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the positive discipline approach in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka as a strategy to cultivate the character value of discipline, which is one of the universal virtues. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The researcher used data collection techniques that involved observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants of this study are the vice principal and 3 class teachers from each school. The research results show that the implementation of positive discipline in the Kurikulum Merdeka can help foster a disciplined character in students without punishment. This is done, among other ways, through habituation, building positive relationships between teachers and students, and creating class agreements. The conclusion of this study shows that the positive discipline approach implemented at SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau and SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau can serve as a foundation for the formation of students' disciplined character. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pendekatan disiplin positif dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka sebagai strategi dalam menumbuhkan nilai karakter disiplin yang merupakan salah satu nilai-nilai kebajikan universal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah dan 3 guru kelas dari masing-masing sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan disiplin positif dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dapat membantu menumbuhkan karakter disiplin pada peserta didik tanpa hukuman. Hal ini dilakukan di antaranya dengan cara pembiasaan, membangun hubungan positif antar guru dan peserta didik, serta membuat kesepakatan kelas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan disiplin positif yang diterapkan di SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau dan SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau dapat menjadi landasan terbentuknya karakter disiplin peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of PAI 2023 postgraduate students at UIN Padang towards the use of ChatGPT and Quillbot in the era of education 4.0. In the era of education characterized by technological development, ChatGPT as an artificial intelligence-based chatbot offers interesting potential and Quillbot as a writing tool that is very useful for students who want to improve the quality of writing. The research method used is qualitative with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach, and data collection is done through interviews. Respondents consisted of 6 postgraduate students of PAI 2023 at UIN Padang. The results of the analysis showed that 3 students had a positive perception of the use of ChatGPT and Quillbot in self-development, quality improvement, creativity, time efficiency, and learning productivity. 2 students also feel happy and satisfied and have high motivation in using ChatGPT. 1 student did not use ChatGPT or Quillbot in completing his assignments. This research provides valuable insights for educational institutions and technology developers to optimize the use of artificial intelligence technology in students' learning experience in the education 4.0 era. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa pascasarjana PAI 2023 di UIN Padang terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT dan Quillbot di era pendidikan 4.0. Di era pendidikan yang ditandai dengan perkembangan teknologi, ChatGPT sebagai chatbot berbasis kecerdasan buatan menawarkan potensi yang menarik dan Quillbot sebagai alat bantu menulis yang sangat berguna bagi mahasiswa yang ingin meningkatkan kualitas tulisan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara. Responden terdiri dari 6 orang mahasiswa pascasarjana PAI 2023 di UIN Padang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 3 orang mahasiswa memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT dan Quillbot dalam pengembangan diri, peningkatan kualitas, kreativitas, efisiensi waktu, dan produktivitas belajar. 2 orang mahasiswa juga merasa senang dan puas serta memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dalam menggunakan ChatGPT. 1 orang mahasiswa tidak menggunakan ChatGPT maupun Quillbot dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi institusi pendidikan dan pengembang teknologi untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam pengalaman belajar siswa di era pendidikan 4.0.

Abstract

Salah satu tanaman yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan medis tinggi adalah tanaman kelor (Moringa oleifera L.). Minyak biji kelor digunakan dalam industri kosmetik sebagai perawatan kulit dan formulasi kosmetik berkualitas tinggi karena mengandung asam lemak tak jenuh dengan sifat antioksidan, anti penuaan dan anti inflamasi yang kuat serta mudah diserap oleh kulit. Penelitian ini mengembangkan metode ekstraksi dengan variasi volume etanol 96% (250 , 300 , 350 ,400 dan 450 ml) dengan waktu maserasi 2 hari dan penggunaan Vaccum Rotary Evaporator untuk pemekatan ekstrak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa volume pelarut sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil rendemen, hasil rendemen paling besar yaitu pada volume 450ml sebesar 49,60%. Pada penelitian ini dibuat variasi formulasi emulsi (F1 (0,8 g ekstrak) ; F2 (1 g ekstrak) ; F3 (1,2 g ekstrak) ; F4 (1,4 g ekstrak) ; F5(1,6 g ekstrak) ; F6 (1,8 g minyak zaitun) ). Rasio kombinasi ekstrak biji kelor dengan minyak zaitun adalah 1 : 1. Uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan DPPH (1,1-Difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil). Perhitungan nilai IC50 pada penelitian ini didapat aktivitas antioksidan pada ekstrak biji kelor sebesar 69,49 ppm dikategorikan sebagai aktivitas antioksidan kuat dan formulasi dengan nilai aktivitas antioksidan terbaik adalah F3 didapat nilai IC50 sebesar 46,61 ppm dianggap sebagai aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pedagogical competence on the performance of certified teachers at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuk Linggau. Pedagogical competence is a fundamental aspect that must be possessed by every educator in order to improve the effectiveness of the learning process and student learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to certified teachers, and analyzed using simple linear regression techniques to see the relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher performance. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between pedagogical competence on the performance of certified teachers, where increasing pedagogical competence is directly proportional to increasing teacher performance in carrying out their professional duties. This finding indicates that efforts to improve pedagogical competence, both through training and continuous professional development, can contribute positively to the quality of education at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuk Linggau.
