Abstract

Technological developments in this era have an impact on several aspects of life. One of them is in the field of education. Currently, teachers and prospective teachers are required to have creative and innovative teaching skills. Technological developments have also produced many new innovations to support the learning process that teachers can apply in the learning process. New innovations that can support the learning process include the use of media and platforms that can be used to create student worksheets. This service activity is training in the use and creation of student worksheets using the Liveworksheet platform for Elementary School Teacher Education study program students. The aim of this activity is to introduce the liveworksheet platform and also provide training for PGSD students in creating innovative e-LKPD using liveroksheet. The method in this research is training carried out face-to-face or offline, which consists of two sessions, namely the delivery of material and the practice of making e-LKPD. The results of this service showed positive results where all students who participated in the training gained knowledge and skills in using and creating e-LKPD via the live worksheet platform

Abstract

The present study examines the improvement in Pancasila learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Prambanan through the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The research background was based on the low achievement of student learning outcomes, where as many as 74.6% of them obtained scores below the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP). This condition was derived from the lack of innovation in the learning process carried out by educators, so that students had difficulty understanding the material. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) type with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes four stages: planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were all 28 students of grade V SD Negeri 2 Prambanan, consisting of 16 male and 12 female students. Data collection techniques used included observation sheets, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis with a percentage approach. The research results indicated an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. In cycle I, 18 students (65.8%) achieved mastery, while in cycle II, this figure increased to 25 students (89.2%). These findings indicate that the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach can have a significant positive impact on improving students' Pancasila learning outcomes, particularly in recognising local wisdom.

Abstract

This article discusses the leadership of principals on the job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Gantiwarno Klaten. The type of study used was ex-post facto because the study only presented data on events that have already taken place and been had by the respondents without giving treatment or manipulation of the studied variables. The subject and population selected from the study involved 70 teachers of five elementary schools in Gantiwarno Klaten. Data were collected by using a questionnaire technique. The results indicated that the leadership of the principal together contributed 24.1% to the improvement of job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Gantiwarno. The principal's leadership did not have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of elementary school teachers since (1) there was no interest or high encouragement of the principal’s leadership in trusting the respective duties of the teachers, staff, and students excitedly. Abstract

This paper describes the improvement of students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Snowball Throwing learning model. Snowball Throwing is a learning model that uses a sheet of paper and subsequently kneads it into a round shape resembling a ball, a question ball that is ready to be thrown to another student, and the students who have received the question ball must answer the question according to the allocated time. The research in this paper is Classroom Action Research, which is carried out in collaboration between the researchers and teachers. The research design is the Kemmis & Taggart model. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Beluk with the subject of 18 fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Beluk, which consists of 11 female and 7 male students. Data collection techniques of the research include observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The research was conducted in two cycles, namely Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. In Cycle I, the average student score was 65.34 increased to 78.60 in Cycle II. The completeness of students’ learning outcomes increased from Cycle 1 at 66.6% of the number of students who completed the test and in Cycle II at 83.4% of the number of students who completed the test.

Abstract

Education is a learning process that takes place in the form of teaching and learning activities, where in these activities there is interaction between educators and students. However, in reality, learning is still dominated by educator-centered lecture methods, so that two-way interaction and active involvement of students are not optimal. The use of Canva-based interactive learning media is one of the alternatives to overcome this problem. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which aims to produce a product in the form of canva-based interactive teaching media and test the feasibility and effectiveness of improving student learning outcomes in grade III Mathematics subjects. According to validation tests involving material experts, media experts, and small group trials, it showed a feasibility percentage of 92.66% with a very feasible category. Based on the results of the pre-test, it was obtained that students who achieved 55% completeness while the post-test results were obtained that students who achieved completeness were 85%. This shows that there is an increase in completeness by 30%. Thus, the development of Canva-based interactive teaching media can be used as an innovative solution in improving learning outcomes in mathematics subjects.

Abstract

This community service program provided training for elementary school teachers at SDN 2 Prambanan, Klaten, to develop student worksheets (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik/LKPD) aligned with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach within the Merdeka Curriculum. The training aimed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge and skills in designing CRT-based LKPD. Nineteen teachers participated. The program employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) consisting of three stages: (1) demonstration of CRT-oriented LKPD design, (2) guided practice and mentoring, and (3) discussion and reflection. Teachers produced LKPD drafts in small groups and presented their work for peer and facilitator feedback. Product quality was assessed using an LKPD rubric. The results indicate that teachers were able to apply CRT principles in worksheet development, with an average score of 84.4%, categorized as very good. Participants also reported high engagement and expressed confidence to integrate the CRT approach in classroom learning. Overall, the training strengthened teachers’ competence in designing contextual and culturally responsive learning materials for elementary education.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools faces challenges in understanding multiplication concepts due to their abstract nature, requiring interactive media to support Merdeka Curriculum implementation. This study aims to develop interactive Wordwall media to enhance grade III students' multiplication comprehension. Employing Participatory Action Research (PAR), the population comprised all grade III students with a purposive sample of 25 struggling learners. Instruments included observation sheets, questionnaires, Wordwall results, and pre-post tests, analyzed through mixed methods of triangulation and percentage improvement. Results demonstrated significant increases in participation, motivation, and conceptual understanding following five implementation stages. It is concluded that integrating Wordwall with concrete windmill aids effectively transforms rote learning into critical thinking, recommended for elementary teacher adoption.
